That is a beautiful dress! But everyone is right, it DOES need something in the front.... somehow I can't really picture a sash other than those stupid beauty pageant ones... so I was thinking something like a beltish thing that meets in a downward V thing at the front and back, with a long ribbon going down to the bottom of the dress (since to me the style is almost medieval, but this picture is supposedly elven... same thing in my mind sweatdrop0
And a corset with it would be hot! Necklace to fill in the neckline a little, and maybe instead of a metal/gem tiara, you could do a headband of white flowers?
Have some nice little white flowers in your hair and a simple necklace.

i like how simple it is maybe just the simple jewlery and if you have long hair, let it be long and curly and down. but i love it. are you pagan/wiccan? i was raised it, and i have seen the pictures of my parents wedding and it looks like the style of dress she wore. but i think it should be simple. if you MUST have something... i can't think of anything, i like it as it is. xoxo `lissie

You could have a gold threaded V Like an A-Frame but more pointy under the stomach/torso. Any gold necklace would look excellent with that.

First off, CONGRATS on getting married!!
I think a sash/belt thing would work really well. I second the one on the pic Flaming Angel found. When you said "sash" that is the style I immediately thought of. Flowers in your hair would look really pretty too with that style dress.
And as for your mom saying that you should have a "normal wedding"...its your wedding! It should be the way you want it to be. And a lot of people have fantasy weddings. I used to work at a Renaissance Fair and they had a wedding garden that was always booked with people having Ren Faire/Fantasy weddings. (Just tell her to be glad its not my friend's Star Wars wedding...the bride was in red and black dressed as a jedi and the groom was a bounty hunter with a professional wookie presiding over the ceremony! It was awesome though!)

Try a wide ribbon type thing that can be used as a waist belt. make sure the color is a little bit darker then the dress and make sure it matches the wedding colors. Also it would be real pretty if it tied in back like a bow
