Plus you don't talk about how to close your Chakras after the act is done.

For basic info on Chakras, Wheels of Light by Anodea Judith, PhD is a good book (and was the one I quoted as a source in my article along with her website ). The meditation itself is one I wrote.

As far as closing Chakras... The point is to keep them open, so that our energy can flow freely through them. Closed/blocked Chakras can cause illness/disease, so why would one want to close them?

I havent read much about them but what i hve read is that all but the crown and the base of the spine chakra should be closed when not using them because it'll drani your energy. But im still not sure as I've only read about them in one book and it talked aboutthem breifly.

It's not something that I've ever come across, so if you ever remember the title of the book I'd be interested in checking it out. If nothing else it would be interesting to see what their take on the Chakra system is.
