AniMajor Cyrus the Elder Hmm, I'm not entirely sure then, I know it wasn't Huntress Thorin I was thinking of, but huh, guess that kinda sinks it anyways. ninja Um, there was one guy |True Dragon|, who might've had something to do with demons, and one girl invisiblehikari (I think), who got into a bunch of crap with a group of people who may have involvement with demons. I think they're both over the age of majority. Now you've made me curious. This guy? link

AniMajor Aino Ailill Your poem (in your sig) moves too quickly; I can't read it. crying I'm sorry, I'll fix it. Fixed! Tell me if they need to be slower.
It's much better! Going a tad slower would still make it a bit easier, though.

TeaDidikai Aino Ailill Can anyone recommend who's translation of The Poetic Edda is the best? How are you defining best?
Most literal. In translating from Latin, I have read a many persons' translations which contain an altered version in order to make the meaning of the poem more easily understood or to make it align with English standards of poetry in its translated form, such as rhyme scheme, metric feet, and such. In doing so, nuances that are potentially important can be lost or, in some cases, entire meanings changed or dropped. I'd rather have a translation that does not suffer from these.
