The green filly wasn't entirely sure where her twin had gone off too and was currently in the process of 'seeking her out' so to speak. They weren't utterly close, which you'd think they would be. Given they were twins. However they didn't have that familial bond that you would have thought. Still, she liked to know where she vanished to sometimes.
Giving a small huff she whipped her spiked tail behind her in a rather agitated manner. Where had she gone off to? It's not like she was hard to see, she was purple! Nighean actually blended into her surroundings so it was a little more difficult to find her, if she saw it fit do hide herself away at any rate.
Looking at her feet for a second she wriggled her toes and then cast her golden gaze outwards. Twisting her ears she took in a deep breath and let it out slowly as she closed her eyes. It was something she often found herself doing when she was feeling a little perplexed, like now, and it always worked.
Little did she know she was no longer alone.

Life was treating him fairly well. Or so he thought. He had his brother, what else could he possibly need? His bushy tail drifted behind him as he padded along, dark eyes glancing the surrounding area as he caught the scent of something unfamiliar, something new. Someone new.
As he moved forward, his ears and eyes searching for his target, he couldn't help but wonder who and what they might be. He had met other foals briefly before but this one wasn't like that tan colt had been. This was a young filly. The only reason he knew this was because he suddenly found himself staring at her.
She had sort of just popped up out of nowhere, mainly because of her coloration. It was spring so most of the woodlands were full of foliage so she sort of blended in. Her golden spikes sort of helped her stick out, but only just slightly. Was she sleeping standing up?
Why were her eyes shut?
Clearing his throat he wasn't entirely sure what to say. "Ummmm, hello?" He called out to her.

Her moment of clarity was disrupted by an unfamiliar voice and her golden eyes fluttered open as she looked towards the direction of the owner. She wasn't entire sure what or who she had been expecting to be standing there but he was definitely not it.
Not that she was disappointed, it was just unexpected was all. Everything about him was different minus his pawed feet. That was about the only similarity the two of them shared. She hadn't met anyone else outside of her sister so this was new and exciting, almost.
It was also a bit nerve-racking. Whipping her tail behind her as she took a brief second to look him over she decided she could at least respond to his words. "Ummmm yes?" She retorted rather simply, her voice plain of all emotion. She wasn't trying to be mean, she just wanted to see what he'd say since he had been the one to interrupt her moment of silence. Not that he could have possibly known that.
He was cute, she had to give him that. She pegged it on his big ears and bushy tail, they were something else and she liked that.

He supposed he would have thought she'd of said something else besides ummmm yes, but it would do.
What was he going to say, he could have not said anything at all and left her there. So what would his excuse be? Not that he really needed on, just tell her the truth! That always worked right? "I didn't know if you were sleeping."
He realized how silly that sounded the second it came out of his mouth, who slept standing up after all? That would have to be tiring the more he thought about it and he realized he probably should have said something else entirely, but it was too late now. The words had already passed through his lips and he just gave her a half smile and flicked his tail behind him.
"I'm Ashitaka, what is your name?" Maybe he could change the subject really quick, though he doubted she'd let that first comment slide.

She gave him a look at sort of said, that's a stupid thing to ask. However she didn't say anything. She could see why he might have thought she was sleeping, being her eyes were closed and everything but that had definitely not been the case. Instead she laughed and shook her head. "It was an easy mistake." She said simply and let the ordeal pass, not that it had been much of an issue anyway.
She looked him over real quick and turned her gaze back to his own when he introduced himself. Ashitaka, that was an interesting name, though her own name sounded unique in it's own way. "I'm Nighean," She looked around for a second, "What brings you this way Ashitaka?" She wanted to say his name at least once, she liked how it sounded as she said it.
She wondered if he was alone or if someone else might be joining him soon. That could be asked next if need be.

At least she wasn't mad, not that he would have cared one way or another. It's not like he was going to know her for very long, right?
Her name was interesting, much like his and his brothers and he gave a small smile. "Nighean," He whispered the name to himself. "I'm just walking around since it's a nice enough day. Why are you here?" He asked her in return, curious to know her response. He like the purple flowers that adorn her and wondered how she got them to stay.

She supposed she had to agree with him about the weather, she looked towards the canopy and watched as rays of sunlight fell through the foliage. "Nothing wrong with a nice walk."
She whipped her tail behind her and moved to a different spot so she could look at him better. "I'm out looking for my sister. Though honestly I'm about to just give up on that and do my own thing." She said with a small shrug, it was obvious the distance between them so why keep trying to make it something it wasn't?
"Do you live near here?" She was interested now, perhaps he lived close by, then she could at least have a friend to talk to.
