Shaman stretched out with a groan and rolled onto her back. Wriggling in the grass when you have an itch on your back was the best, especially when you mix in the sun. "So warm." She turned to smile at her companion only to find him gone. A frown crept on her face and a sadness made itself known when she remember that her mate at to go on a journey a few days ago. It had been important business, well according to him it had been. "Pooh." she pouted and then grunted as she got up.
A few minutes later found her at a watering hole nearby from their home and Shaman drinking water pondering what to do with herself for the next few days. Maybe she could visit a few friends that were close by or maybe some morning exercise could be her thing.
He was gone again and the emptiness felt deeper than before. She felt as if there was nothing left of her heart. Vanya slowly got up and let out a whine. His scent wasn't enough to satisfy her loneliness.
She continued to whimper and whine as she left what she called home behind. It was that time again to try and fill the emptiness while he is gone. The colorful mare wandered out of the woods and into the open field. She looked around for anyone she could talk to. Not seeing anyone she started to whimper and whine all over again.
The whining and whimpering continued as she proceeded to travel north, not even really knowing where it was she was headed. She could always find her way back home but she wanted to be somewhere new.

A stray sunbeam hit her eyes and she winced at the burn. It was the perfect day to be honest and Enqueri would have loved it if he had been here with her. Shaman snorted when a baby animal loped around her hooves before it ran off to parts unknown to her. Wandering around the earth had been a calming aspect to finding her zen. Shaman's ears twitched now and then at all the sounds. Closing her eyes for a moment and breathing in all sorts of scents just to center herself. Her inner and outer peace was shattered by the sound of high pitched sobs that petered out and returned full force. "Weird, what is that." She asked wearily at the aspect of threat. She really didn't want to deal with trouble at the moment, especially when she didn't have her partner as backup.
"Ah hell." She shook her head when the sound returned, it sounded mournful rather than threatening. "Sorry Enqueri but doesn't feel right to ignore." Shaman had made a promise to stay out of trouble just before Enqueri had left. The closer she got the more she realized it was a female horse with pretty hair and colour coat. "You alright over there?"
Vanya froze and looked around for who it was that could be talking to her. Her amber eyes found a beautiful gray mare. She had some interesting features but it added to her beauty. "No.." She was going off the guess that she heard her whining so she couldn't lie.
"He's gone again." She muttered the words because saying it out loud only made the pain worse. "I don't know how I'll fill the emptiness this time." Vanya whined some more after she spoke. The pain was growing with every second that passed.
"Do you know of someone who could help me?" She figured it was worth a shot to ask the mare. "I need help filling the emptiness...please." Vanya started to beg the other mare for help.
