She'd just dropped off the birdie in a place where they'd be safe while the pawed feline went hunting for something more permanent. Not that she was really into keeping to a single place, but the bird needed at least a little bit of consistency since they seemed so lost.
Carefully, she padded forward and sought out a place that would fit the bill, however as she slunk through the trees, her ears heard the frustrated noises of something not nearly big enough to be wandering about on their own. Am I just going to be finding more lost ones? She idly wondered what the world was coming to.
Benoit peered about, and spotted the shock of blue and white fluff, "Well you look worse than the rat the cat dragged in, kiddo." Her voice was gentle, but carried decently as she stepped into view of the foal, "Lost, looking for someone, or just taking a nap?"

The little one came off as annoyed and a bit rude, but with the information he'd given and his tonality he was in a hurry, and left well behind whoever it was he was looking for. She didn't give away noticing how he looked her over, she was after all a wee bit on the strange looking side, but that's what happened to those who were wishing star strange things.
Her ears twitched, "Oh me? Benoit is my name little one." She grinned and flicked her ridiculously fluffy tail, "So who is it you're looking for, pup?" It was an small nickname, she had a tendency to call those she met by them as remembering names of those she ran into was...difficult at best, whereas her immediate inclination of what another was stuck with her for as long as she could remember.

AstoriaFallen Apologies for taking so long to reply. x.x She took a moment, thinking deeply on what had happened in the past several hours, then shook her head, "I've not see anyone looking like you, little one." Benoit's tail flicked and her ears drooped, "Family disappearing is not fun."
"Did your brother wander off and get lost, or did something bad happen?" Her tone was gentle as she spoke, wanting to urge him to continue talking rather than have him shut down on her. No matter the answer, she wanted to help the pup find his sibling, being alone in this world was never something anyone should have to deal with.
She sat on her haunches, and waited for the answer, making sure that she listened to their surroundings as well.
