...I discovered my boyfriend's mother is a rabid Trump supporter:

We're doing a hell of a lot better now, despite his mother's wishes. He admitted to me recently that she's flat-out told him several times now that if he and I have a future together, he's going to have to choose between me and his family. That's just so ******** wrong. But the way he's talking, it sounds like he's beginning to see how manipulative and abusive she is, because he's taking my side more often now. He's growing up, and I'm glad. Not just for my benefit, but for his.

And as for her? Well, you can say that I'm looking forward to making her life hell, because I don't plan on going anywhere any time soon. wink

Oh good, I'm so glad to hear things are working out better between the two of you! Sorry to hear that his family is being the way they are, but unfortunately that is sometimes how it goes.
