Harry blushed and mouthed, "Sorry!" at Draconia in a way so Marianna couldn't see.

"I was just, uh, peep my date. Making sure everything is groovy and you're having fun."

Harry jumped when Marianna elbowed him...hard.

"Ow! I mean, Draconia St George meet Marianna Trench. Marianna is new and I just ran into her. Literally.

He couldn't believe Marianna called him Draconia's boofriend. This was their second date! Draconia was clawsome and groovy but he didn't think she was interested in him as anything but a bluddy,

Essi quit humming as the music shifted to something different. Quick to adapt she changed her dance style and imitated her "sister's" dance moves to fit this tempo. At least the songs were no longer loud or maybe her horns had grown accustomed to it.
Clearly her unoriginal moves were to match to her escort...who was way more into the song than her. Spins and fancy steps later.
"I am...having an adequate time.....this is not what I expected to be doing or who I'd be dancing with!"

Cass said as she and she walked off to go join atomica on stage. Cassie smiled brightly hugging her friend. She decided to only look at Atomica so she wouldnt see the monster-sized crowd. She began to relax and enjoy herself. And along with this, she began to sing. Cassie always said that she had a clawful voice and couldn't sing but, she was a powerhouse. She wasn't aware that she could be heard by the crowd since she simply wasn't paying attention. Cass didn't think about how Gryff and Layla were in the crowd. She didn't think about rumors, or even about her fam or cryptmas! She was just having fun unleashing a well-hidden talent

"Hi Draconia! It's wavey to meet you! Don't let this tasty boo out of your sight. Or he will be whale diving into Popscorn and before you know it we have a scheduled wavey Wrestling event! What a show! HaHA!" She claps Draconia's hand and shakes it a few times. She caught herself rambling and quickly stopped herself, because just in that moment her Father stepped up, shimmying his was over to his daughter.

"What's this I hear about a Wavey Wrestling show? Because if it's anything like this. I'm looking forward for you to attend Monster High." He thumbed up in approval, at the band playing on stage, and the little doll singing was bringing a smile to his ferocious teeth. "You know I was quite the Fintastic Wrestler in my day! I even became Pro! You may know me as--"

"DaaAaaD!! Please... Don't boast, That's totes stereotypical." Leviathans are known for being the Big fish of the sea, and notorious for boasting and their envious nature. She rolls her eyes and crosses her arms over her chest. Her father returned her eye-roll and gave her a shimmy, that made her giggle. whee "Teehee!"

"It's just something I watched at the SKRM Match While getting Popscorn... From A FAR!" At First... She looked at Harry, giving her best impression of baby, seal, puppy eyes she could. She hoped they would understand her little fib to her dad, and it was something she really didn't like doing. "And I heard there's going to be this wrestling event this weekend. And well... Can I go? It would be a great place for me to make friends." She added quickly the last statement, and gave him a bright shark-toothy smile. xd Conveniently she left out the part where she's be IN the event.

"Sure, Angel-fish. Just don't go disembody-slamming someone in the Deep. If you need me I'll be eating the clams." He dancing his way over to the boo-fet table for seconds, but not bedor giving his doughter a peck on the top of her head.

"Ugh. Wavey."Marianna felt excited and deflated at the same time.

Draconia jumped a little bit when Marianna mentioned the wrestling event. Did she realize that Draconia was secretly the masked luchadora La Fuega? But now was not the time to ask about such things. That time would be Saturday, when they would face off with the New Dead on the last Backyard Monster Wrestling match of the year.

More important was clearing up a different misconception.

"It's quite splendid to meet you, Marianna, but I must correct you. Harry and I are just friends. He's not my boofriend. I mean...he's a friend, who IS a boo, but we're not..." Draconia tripped over her words a little bit. Fortunately, it was at that moment that the new Rest in Peace song started belting out over the dance floor.

"Shall we have our last dance, Harry?" Draconia asked him. Some monsters were already getting their coats and preparing to leave. This uhh-mazing evening was nearing its end.

Dawn was breaking outside, and just as the first rays of sun started to peek over the horizon, the grand gala came to an end. It had been a magical night; a night of romance and drama and food and friends and dancing.

Now, as a chilly breeze swept through the air, the thoughts of the monsters in New Salem turned towards Cryptmas and their long howliday break. What new adventures awaited them all?!
