This is a contest for two brothers who will be part of the Thieves Guild! They are sons of Al-Hattal, the God of Rogues, and a rogue lioness who passed away shortly after giving birth to them. Enter not Al-Hattal, but Yehl, leader of the Guild and daughter of the Goddess of Thieves, who will happen upon them and take them back to the Guild, making an exception to the rule that cubs are not usually permitted to know about the Guild, since there's really no other practical choice in this case.

  • These cubs will be raised primarily by Yehl, with assistance from Tifua (who is herself a daughter of Al-Hattal from when he was mortal, but no one will be aware of the relation unless someone has a vision or something). Tifua is a Watcher who spends most of her time in the Guild's little mountain hideout, so she'll stay behind with the kids if Yehl has things to do.
  • They will likely see Aharu`kai from time to time, but she will not be interested in involving herself as any kind of caretaker. She'll just sit back and be entertained by her daughter's attempts to raise children.
  • Other guild members will come and go (and help or not), and the end result will be a collectively-raised little set of thieves.
  • The cubs will not be intentionally raised to consider or refer to Yehl (or Tifua or anyone else) as their parent, although they may develop such attachments on their own if you'd like them to.
  • In their youth, they will live in the hideout, which means they will be rather isolated; their interactions will be limited to visiting thieves and occasional trips out with Yehl to hone their skills. Once they reach adolescence, they will have free rein to come and go as they please.
  • Even though they're young, they will be expected to follow all guild rules.
  • I would prefer that the cubs remain members of the Guild, but if plot eventually sends them in another direction, that's fine.

Entering for: Kakol
Personality, tendencies, views, etc.: Hi-diddley-dee, a thieving life for he! Kakol will grow up believing in no attachment to any conventional pride except the Thieve's Guild, the closest thing to a 'pride' as he'll get. He'd rather be a rogue with few restrictions than in a pride with many, as it were. Even as a cub, he shows a tendency toward cunning and trickery, using wit and words to get what he wants to steal so that those he steals from don't know he's stealing from them until he's long gone. He's prone to lying, and will tell anybody who asks which sibling he is, he's either Kalakawwa or Kalagca. Kakol also has some attachment issues - Because his father is unknown, and he views no lioness as his mother, he refuses to grow TOO attached to others. He will never take a mate.
Anything extra to add? Kakol will have visions of the future, usually centered around those he's going to steal from.

Entering for: Kakol
Personality, tendencies, views, etc.: Kakol is a solemn little fellow, observing all things through his large, purple eyes. He generally takes life quite seriously, having little sense of humor on his own. It isn't that he doesn't like fun, he just isn't as rambunctious and silly as most cubs would tend to be. Perhaps it's a lack of a father. Perhaps it's the oddness of having two not-mothers and many rotating characters as influences in his life.

However, despite his serious attitude, this boy is one wily trickster. His ability to observe and penchant for details allows him to mimic his brothers exactly. To him, nailing the impressions is fun, so he does it often. It doesn't stop at his brothers, either. He'll learn to modulate his voice to sound like others, adopt the mannerisms of other creatures, and wear the personalities of others like a costume. This will come in handy when he grows into an adult, as these tricks will help him to help himself to the treasures of others.

Concerning personal relationships, the guild is his family. Every individual, as he comes to know them, become his brother, his sister, his uncle, his aunt, his grandfather. Privately he plays a game in which he assigns each guild member he meets a relation to himself. He may even call them that aloud, if he's fond enough of them. This doesn't mean he'll actually like everyone... but they will still be his family. As an adult, he isn't likely to show his true self to anyone not of the guild, and will refuse to take a mate that is not already one of the family. He figures he'll know when he meets her that she isn't just a sister, or so he hopes!

Anything extra to add? His visions are of his brothers, as well as his sister on rare occasions. He sees whatever they are doing at that same moment, as if he himself were present. Though at first they come unbidden, he learns to control them, choosing when to initiate the visions and how long they last. He cannot, however, choose to move his vision self away from the sibling it is about. He may, with great concentration, change the angle he is watching from, but that's it. This is one of his secret ways of being able to mimic them so very well!

(Also... Raven with purple eyes! i'm squeeing over here!)

Entering for: Kalakawwa
Personality, tendencies, views, etc.: Kalakawwa is just on a go, go, go. He’s ready to live life to the fullest! Quite the devious troublemaker, he doesn’t intentionally try to make a muck of things. It just happens to be like that. Building a pile of stones on an incline to roll down wasn’t supposed to make a ruckus. Attempting to jump up on a low hanging branch to mess with his siblings wasn’t supposed to scare away the hunt. He has no ill intent… just wants to have fun! Of course, he knows one day he’ll have to settle down, behave, hone his skills.. he gets told that all the time. But couldn’t he have a little fun along the way? The way he saw it, he had plenty of time!

Not having a parental figure never really bothered Kalakawwa. You couldn’t really miss something you never had. And considering there weren’t any other cubs in the hideaway, Kalakawwa never had anything to compare to. In fact, Yehl, Tifua… even Aharu’kai, he considered family, along with his siblings. And boy, when a visitor came? Could he talk their ears off. Curiosity was not his greatest friend, unfortunately, but he simply couldn’t help himself! He wanted to know what was out there! It didn’t help that his dreams sometimes contained visions of places he’s never seen before… places he so dearly just wanted to visit!
Anything extra to add? He will be a part of the thieves guild and definitely settle down. His personality would tone into a bit of… devil may care attitude, with a hint of flirt, but during adolescence, he’ll buckle down and get serious about training.

Entering for: Kakol
Personality, tendencies, views, etc.: Kakol, unfortunately, is easily nervous. This probably stemmed from having seen a very unfamiliar face early in his life. Of course, once he began retaining memories, he forgot that that face belonged to his surrogate mom. Nevertheless, Kakol tries his best during missions and learning trips, but is prone to bouts of anxiety. Later in life, he'll learn to control this by distracting himself, usually with counting things (i.e. about to swipe eggs from an eagle's nest, hence count the number of feathers on the mother). Not only will this help calm his nerves, it'll also help him remember things.

Other than his anxiety, Kakol is just like his other siblings. He wants to please the guild and his mother, and sometimes suffers from strange visions that make his head swim.
Anything extra to add? He'll stay in the Thieves Guild for sure; he couldn't imagine life outside a tight-knit group that's protected him all his life. That is, unless a particularly radiant lady walks by... ;D

Entering for: Kalakawwa
Personality, tendencies, views, etc.: Kawwa (sometimes just Kaw) is a swift and nimble little guy, despite his slightly chubby body. He is good at looking innocent with those big blue eyes, but his nimble paws are often into everything. Glance away just a moment, and he'll be somewhere else entirely. This tends to lead him to liking practical jokes of all kinds. If it's funny to him, he's likely to try it. Sometimes his sense of humor will get out of hand, especially as a cub, and he'll have to be reminded that it isn't funny when someone gets hurt. It isn't that he doesn't care, he just tends to get blinded by what he considers his own brilliance at pulling something off. He'll make an excellent thief as an adult, and will take great pride in it.

Kawwa is generally indifferent to anyone who isn't one of his siblings. Granted, his indifference has degrees. He is rather cold emotionally to anyone not of the guild, which allows him to be a particularly effective thief as an adult. He would have no trouble stealing candy from a cub, so to speak. Guild members are garnered more respect and loyalty, but he tends to view them more as rivals than buddies. Those he sees most often are more likely to be accorded the status of friend. His siblings, however, are his bosom buddies, and he will protect them ruthlessly. Make his sister cry? Expect blood to be drawn. Mock one of his brothers? There WILL be a beat down. Since he retains some of his bulk as an adult, he will have no qualms about using it as he sees fit.

Anything extra to add? His visions aren't so much the typical, disorienting visions as they are vivid imaginings. He doesn't even realize he's a seer. His ability gives him brief glimpses of his brilliant pranks and tricks. He considers them cool ideas on what to try to do, not realizing that he's actually seeing himself accomplishing those very tricks. As an adult, these become rarer (as his creativity settles into more predictable patterns), and will often give him an idea for a heist of a particular sort.

Entering for: Kalakawwa
Personality, tendencies, views, etc.: Kalakawwa's personality splits up into two main traits: His ability to blend in with his surroundings and his obsessive passion for shiny objects. This cub never really draws very much attention to himself, preferring to keep to his own affairs... By which I mean stealing the trinkets of other lions. Reserved and quiet for the most part, Kala will only ever make a fuss when he gets caught red-pawed in the act of stealing a shiny bauble from another of the guild, or even more so, when he catches someone else trying to steal from his secret stash! You'll be surprised to see what a racket a cub of this size and temperament can make when he's distressed.
Anything extra to add? Thank you for this wonderful chance!

Entering for: Either Kakol or Kalakawwa
Personality, tendencies, views, etc.: As a cub he spends a short while being confused by the large community that comes and goes, but being a curious cub he swiftly figures out the advantages of such a wide-ranging family, and is quick to exploit its many oppertunities. Like learning all kinds of specialised and random skills from visiting members, and if his question does not recieve a favourable answer the first time, he will keep asking different members until he gets what he wants. He never mistakes his caregivers as his parents and while he may worry in private about the lack of a mother or father, he will automatically hide his insecurities and over compensate for them by working hard to master the tricks of a theif's trade.
Growing up he treats life as a game, taking immense pride in his skills and always looking for a new challange.
He is more interested in testing himself than in aquiring things to add to his collection. For instance, if stealing a water flask from a firekin involves great danger and almost certain death, he will value it far more highly that stealing the necklace from a Pridelander royal who presents no real challange.
Anything extra to add? He'll always remain a theif, and will actually meet up with Ezio Auditore, (Assassin's creed cosplay). The pair of them will occassionally help each other out with missions when it is mutually benificial. And when their goals conflict, they will have a kind of respectful rivalry.

Personality, tendencies, views, etc.:
A cub with two other replicas presents an unique opportunity to avoid ever taking the heat for trouble he gets into. Frankly it becomes a challenge to use them as scapegoats in the web of lies he easily spins. He's not dishonorable, his definition of it is simply different than the rest of the worlds. Without a solid relationship, the little black cub lying and stealing went hand in hand. Especially if it meant he could avoid responsibility. The game was all about finding out how far he can get away with. His loyalty began and ended with his siblings however, he would cover for them to the end of the planet if they only request it.
The tendency to stretch the truth will serve as both a sword and a shield, but it wont be all that makes him up. Kal's competitive, shifty, and loves to have fun in the usual cub ways, trying to best his littermates. The games he loves the most are three truths and a lie, who can get the closest without getting caught, and echoing bird noises (which would serve as communication on a heist). The lie he tells and believes the most is that he doesn't resent the absence of parents in his life. Once he begins to believe it, he won't be such a punk, but he will always have a mighty chip on his shoulder. It will cause him to come off quite machismo, making it really easy to meet and chase after the eligible females once he's old enough to understand such things.
In his late adolescence- early adulthood he will come to reason that his parental unit is the guild, which will always be the guild under his parents 'roof' where the rules must be followed. His one true love is and will always only be himself. Anything else is done in his glory, though he's not quite a narcissist. When he loves, its such a rush, he thrives on the chemical explosion. But what goes up must come down and when it fades or gets rocky, the lies come out and his exit is swift.
Anything extra to add? Kalak's visions won't exactly be the most welcome experience at first, since they can be rather unpredictable. They're of the object the individual treasures the most. As he gets older and focuses on them more, it could turn out to be a great resource for a thief with daddy issues.
I see him sireing many litters with moderate presences in each of their individual lives & up bringing for a bit. Then they may or may not choose to return to his home to the guild with him to live their own lives.

Ooc: I've been waiting for such a cool opportunity to finally own a seer! Thanks for the shot!
