Where: Civisect City (By the new Flarp Gear Shop in town)
When: Early Nightfall

The night is young, and posters about the newly restored Civisect City's curious Flarp Gear Shop can be seen and spoken of in nearly every town and city across Alternia. Rewards for trolls brave enough to undergo the 'quests' provided are noted on the fliers. Most of the rewards are silly, and in character persona rewards, but that doesn't seem to detract from the hype. Trolls of varying ages have gathered at the shop, and are promptly separated by age category for their partners in pairs of two upon signing up.

Voscil had seen the fliers all over New Hemisect City, and the allure of what the words on the poster promised had simply been too much for her to pass up. Putting on her worn, but fitted gear in her apartment she inspected herself in the mirror curiously. For this adventure, she'd chosen to go as her favorite Flarp persona; a fighter and monk cross over. She felt most comfortable in the role, and the moment her gear was on she felt all the more thrilled to get going. Of course she had to double check she had everything before departing for the train to the next city over. Her toy combat tonfa's while impractical for anything but play fighting, she still made sure to bring them. Last but not least, she suited her lusus up, making her an epic 'steed' of sorts. "You look great Mama! Don't look at me that way!" She giggled when all her guardian could do was sighing, and roll her eyes with a smile. MamaJu simply couldn't tell her no. Even if the armor against her white fur was slightly over the top.

Best known for her character The Yellow Dasher, and true to both her own nature and her characters Voscil wasted no time in scampering out of her apartment. She wouldn't be caught dead breaking character not while she was geared up and ready to take on these so called quests. She waited rather impatiently for the train and its trek across the distance between the two major cities. Glued to one of the windows, her eyes were wide taking in everything the newly restored City had to offer. The second the train stopped, she was out the door, running even with the added weight of her shoulder pauldrons and leather armour. Voscil realized a little late she didn’t actually know where this mysterious shop was, but based on the commotion and noise and gathering of robed, armoured and weaponized trolls of all sorts the little yellowblood felt confident she’d finally arrived at her destination.

Signup sheets were available to those interested in partnering up. "Oh yeah! Totally time for some group stuff." She grinned, her voice lost admist the crowd. Joining the line of trolls waiting to sign up, she waited rocking on her sneakers heels impatiently. For those more brave souls, there were also solo missions to be had, but she'd come here with the intent of meeting other awesome Flarp'ers not some boring solo quest. Voscil was quick to p***k her own finger with a tooth, using it to hastily scrawl down her name. Practically humming with excitement as she darted from one spot to another, she bounced up and down trying to get a look see at the front as names were registered and taken down.

News of the events Civisect's Flarp Gear Shop was holding had quickly reached Four Fronds, and it was all Frossa could blabber on about endlessly to Hippodad for the following few nights. She loved FLARP, she loved loot, she loved the new sparkly highblooded city- it was going to be so awesome. He had merely rolled his beady eyes and sighed, consenting to accompany his downsized charge along once again. It was clear he couldn't wait for Frossa to grow up... again.

Lugging several of the highblooded girl's oversized bags strapped to his back, Hippodad continued to huff and complain the whole ride to Civisect. FLARP gear in tow they had departed shortly after sunset on the night of the events, catching the earliest train possible; Frossa had barely been able to sleep the day before out of sheer excitement. She cooed sweet promises of relaxing at the beach and an extravagant big city meal before the night was over in a vain attempt to soothe her grumpy lusus, but they both knew that her promises were likely empty and fully depended on how the night played out. The two made their way towards the Gear Shop immediately after they arrived at Civisect, only stopping to allow Frossa to change in the ablution block of a high end restaurant. Hippodad idly wondered why she made him drag all that crap and why she didn't just wear her costume on the train in the first place. Discarding her street clothes in favour of her costume of light armour and ruffles, Frossa gleamed at herself in the mirror as she clipped some ornate pearl ornaments onto her curled twin tails. She was now Princess PurPure- the most beautiful and elegant and powerful highblood magical girl in all the clouded lands! Swinging up onto her charge's back by his pompomlike tail, Frossa waved her flail wildly in the direction of the shop, cackling something about venturing onwards to the promised lands.

Hippodad sighed through flared nostrils, and begrudgingly swaggered in the direction Frossa had gestured in.

Upon reaching the store and the thick of the crowd surrounding it, the child slipped off her lusus' back, giving him a quick pat on the nose before dashing off through the costumed trolls without so much as a word. Buzzing with excitement, Frossa's upbeat skip slowed to a pause as she neared the store doors, sunken visonglobes darting between the table set up for solo questers and the line for the paired campaign sign ups. She hesitated, unsure which to head towards- what if she got matched up with some totally incompetent moron? The rewards for the paired quests did appeal to the little highblood a tiny bit more, but the age divisions had deterred Frossa from asking one of her friends to come along and try teaming up with her... it had never particularily crossed her mind to invite them just for fun.

Still, it was always nice to make new friends to FLARP with, wasn't it?

Turning on one small heel, Frossa confidently picked up her bubbly pace and beelined over to the registration for the team event. After waiting patiently in line, craning her neck in every direction to admire her surroundings, the highblood hastily added her name to the list of others to be matched up; silently hoping once more she didn't get paired up with some drooling, useless wriggler.

It wasn't long before one of the store's employees, donned in some sort of minstrel's garb, returned from inside the shop brandishing the results of the match up. The youngsters immediately flocked to the wall where it was posted, and Frossa pushed and bounced her way through to the front. Spotting her name, she trailed over to see the opposing one of her partner.

"Voscil... Torgny?"
