The pride had grown since the last time she was there, Aine thought as she walked around the dens. Rumors had spread that some of the new pride members had come from royalty. Ranks never meant anything to her. If they did she would try harder to get a better rank for herself, either threw her own hard work or by marrying a higher ranking member.
Her real interest in those of nobility was learning their little secrets. Everyone had their secrets that they would protect. Aine enjoyed prying it out of them to use for her own sake. Even if they didn't have secrets that interested her, they were always fun for entertainment. She enjoyed messing with nobility, almost as much as she enjoyed secrets.
Her steps were light as she glanced around the dens looking for any unfamiliar faces. She was certain she would find a couple new members to get to know. If not, she could always find some of her old playmates.
