Ulfric grinned at that, nodding his head in greeting.
"That you have," he said, surprised but pleased by the tenacity of the young lion. He had been hoping to see Rokh again, as their fights had been very interesting so far, and he knew that no one else would be right to welcome this one into the pride. It was a matter of honor at this point, and it was Ulfric's duty to see him become a member of the vikings.
"I imagine I know why you're here," he grinned, digging his claws into the earth a few times before he crouched down and then charged at the challenger. They knew by now how this worked, and he did not doubt that Rokh would be on his guard and ready for the fight.

Ulfric was not afraid of attacks, but the feints were keeping him on his toes, and he kept an eye on the other lion as he positioned himself for another attack. The other was getting used to the way Ulfric liked to tackle and throw his weight around.
Ulfric, on the other hand, was not used to anyone using the same tactic.
"Urgh?"
He pulled back as Rokh charged at him, suddenly thrown off balance by the strange movement, and caught off guard for half a moment. It was long enough to leave Rokh an opening, at the very least. Ulfric had to back pedal, walking backwards on two paws to get some space, but obviously it was not the most graceful or tactical of retreats. |

Ulfric did not have enough time to compensate for the attack, growling and lowering himself down but not fast enough to get back to his four feet in time to launch his own counter attack. He snarled, but it was mostly just out of vanity and in the hopes that Rokh could still be easily intimidated.
No such luck, the other lion followed through with his attack and managed to bit Ulfric's leg and smack him right on the face in quick enough succession to keep Ulfric from responding in time. He fell backwards with that, grunting as he hit the ground and rolling quickly.
He huffed and tried to clear his head, but the hit to the nose had stunned him, and he felt he could not put too much weight on his back leg because of the bite. He growled and turned to keep fighting, but realized it would not be worth it for him to do so: he would just hurt himself more than he needed to, and the other had already won.
"Well played this time, my friend," he said, huffing as he spoke, his nose aching. He shook his head and managed to speak more evenly the second time. "Welcome to the Stormborn." |

Ulfric shook his head, smirking a bit and taking a breath. Perhaps he had a few too many fights in quick succession, but he was never a lion to back down from a challenge, and he was glad he had fought as hard as he could against a worthy opponent. It took a few tries, but they finally managed to make a viking out of him.
And that made him worthy in Ulfric's eyes, as he had to fight hard to join, as well.
"I will be fine, and tend to my own wounds at my den, but I will show you around the pride, and take you where you need to go." He nodded his head, limping a little, but he was too proud to really let that slow him. He was thankfully pretty familiar with tending to his injuries, as he got into a lot of fights.
