[SRP] I Want to Join (Anika x Anane)

Anane had travelled far to make it to the rocky cliffs of the pride he was about to fight for entry to. He had heard through the grape vine that the rest of his family was here and he very much wanted to join them. After there pride had fallen Anane had chosen to go off on his own and see the world. Now however he was lonely and figured there was no better place to be than with the rest of his family.

He made his way to the rocky edges and looked up, seeing if he could see anyone standing guard from what he was told he would have to challenge his way into the pride. He was a little nervous about the fight but he was a large lion he figured he could hold his own.

It was Anika's first day back on duty since giving birth to the cubs. A wonderful litter of six girls, not one to be overly loving Anika had been overjoyed by her wonderful litter of all girls, seven in total. The litter was stay with Umeko now, who surprisingly enough also had a litter shortly after Anika had hers. Umeko had had a slightly larger litter eight equally split between boys and girls... their den was now bustling. The two females more than had their paws full.

Anika tried to shake the thought of all the cubs from her head, she needed to focus on her job tonight the girls didn't need her. Her eyes scanned the bored looking for anyone trying to intrude into the pride or challenge their way in.

She spotted the male down the way "You there are you looking for entry?" she called moving towards him her chuff puffed out.

Anane saw the female standing above him and he bowed his head in as a sign of respect. "Hi there, I come to challenge for entry" he told her making his voice as loud as he could not only because he wanted to make sure he could hear her but because he wanted to sound some what intimidating as well.

He was ready to take her on he would do what he could to make it a quick battle though he didn't want to drag this out for any longer than he had to.


Anika moved quickly towards the male. She noted the sign of respect when he bowed his head and it made her happy. She liked it when the rogues trying to enter the pride showed a little respect towards those who had always been in the pride.

She also noted that his coloring looked familiar she was confident that this male had a few family members here in the pride. She idealy wondered if he knew that he could just have his family claim him, but perhaps he had more respect than that and wanted to earn his place


Anane didn't wait much longer he moved quickly towards the female his paw outstretched ready to land a blow on her shoulder. He kept his claws in he didn't want to draw blood, he just wanted to win his place and that was it.

He moved fast and with purpose. Landing his paw hard on her shoulder. He had a little smile on his face when he made contact. He didn't enjoy causing others pain but he did enjoy winning.


Anika winced when his paw collided with her shoulder. Cursing under her breath she wondered if perhaps she should have taken a few more days before she came back, or maybe she should have trained harder, it was too late now though she had to stick it through with this fight.

She moved ready to make contact with the male her left paw out instead of her right because of the shoulder he had already wounded. She moved fast but it was clear she was out of practice.


Anane easily dodged the female and he was beginning to feel better about his chances of getting into the pride, he had originally thought it would be hard to get in and that his chances were slim, he had never fought in his life. Yet here he was, winning a battle against someone who was trained to fight.

He lined himself up for the next blow thinking this time he would go for the left shoulder. His paw outstretched he swiped at her, this time however he missed he frowned a little.


Anika dodged the males second attempt at a blow and her confidence grew a little. Anika had always known she was good at her job she wasn't going to start doubting herself now that she had a litter, she had to show her daughters more than anything that females were just as good as any males. She moved fast and went in for the males back hip. Landing a blow quickly.


Anane winced just a little when the female hit his hip, he knew that he was going to have a limp for a day or two. The female certainly knew how to fight. He wanted this fight to be over, he moved quickly and was going in for a full body chuck. He wanted to deal this final blow with grace and energy. If he did it right it would be the end of the fight.


Anika wasn't prepared for a full body chuck and when the male collided with her she was knocked right over on her a**. She cursed again and this time not so much under her breath.

She rose to her feet and gave him a nod "Welcome to your new home" she told him. She was pleasant to him, she didn't enjoy being beat but she figured if they beat her they had proved their worth. He would make a good member of the pride.

She moved aside allowing him through to make his way up into the pride lands.
