(Is a Reaver, just waiting on Recert)

Although new to the pride, Diya held a certain degree of protectiveness about his new home. He wouldn't want just anyone getting into the pride, not when he could help it anyway! He was around the challenge area, looking for new meat who wished him to send them away, tail between their legs, after a solid battle had been formed. He was sure that he would win these challengers, believing himself stronger then just some dumb rogue.

Liran was nervous. He was not as physically strong as Vittorio, and he was certainly not as sassy as Mirashi. He was, by far, the 'weakest' of the trio. Not because of a lack of strength, just a lack of interest in using that strength, he was a lover, not a fighter! He would much rather serenade someone than fight them, but if this was to be his new home, then fight he must!

He just really hoped that he could beat however it was that answered his challenge. He sucked in a deep breath, fighting back the urge to sing his challenge, he bellowed out - perhaps a bit too loudly, he was nervous, ok - his call.

"Iwishtojoinyou,someonefightme!"

Well that was barely coherent, but he firmed his stance, waiting for someone to come to his call.

In the name of every god, please don't let them be huge.

Diya

Hearing the call to arms - whilst barely coherent, it was still a challenge - Diya looked towards the challenger. Whilst adorned with trinkets, he looked skinny and barely more than a adolescent. He scoffed to himself. Oh, this would be an easy fight to win. He smirked to himself as he made his way over.

"I will accept your challenge," Diya said smoothly, motioning for Liran to take the first move. He braced himself, tensing all his muscles but keeping his posture ready for movement.

This male would hardly be an actual challenge, but still, he was ready for the unexpected.

Liran

Oh god. Someone accepted. Oh god, he was muscly. Liran was going to die, he realised, with a dawning anxiety. He was not ready for this! Still...Vittorio and Mirashi would surely get in and he didn't want to be left on his own in the rogue lands.

That left only one option.

To win.

He was screwed.

Liran didn't say anything back to the reaver, nervously beginning to circle. How did you fight again? He could barely remember the lessons that Vittorio had taught him. He continued to circle, not making the first move, just...walking.

Diya

...What was he doing? Diya was tensed, watching the male with highly suspicious eyes as he circled, but showed no sign of attacking. Was he trying to trick him? Lull him into a false sense of security and then pounce?

Diya had the oddest feeling that this male was not that clever.

"What are you waiting for?" He finally snapped, voice a low dangerous growl. "Attack, coward!"

Liran

Oh no, he had to actually attack? Liran wasn't sure what he had been thinking but he rather hoped that he wouldn't have to attack. Alright, he had been called out on his poor skills. It was time to use what Vittorio had taught him.

He stopped abruptly, tensing his muscles, digging his claws into the ground beneath him, and throwing his lithe body forward. He hit the male in a solid move, catching him off-guard and so the pair went tumbling like dolls across the floor.

Liran felt himself get winded as the male landed ontop of him, only to tumble off as they span.

They came to a hault, Liran lying on the ground, with the Reaver not far off, in a heap on the ground.

He heaved a huge intake of air, feeling a twinge in his ribs and fearing he may have actually cracked one in that move. He scrambled back to his paws though, remembering abruptly that he was still in the middle of a battle.

He turned his gaze to his opponent and panicked.

Diya

Diya was lying on the ground, body sprawled across the dirt, head lying limply against the rock that he had hit on his final tumble. He was out cold, the tumble disorientating him enough that when he finally came to a stop, he had slammed his head across a rock at just the right angle that all he saw was darkness.

He would wake, but man his head would hurt in the morning.

Liran

Liran's eyes were wide and almost exploding from his head. Had...had he killed him? That wasn't how he won! He was just supposed to win the battle, not kill him! Oh no! Oh no! What should he do?

He snuck over, tail dragging across the ground.

"Uhm, Mister Viking," he called out sheepishly, cautiously aproaching the limp form. He reached out a paw, poking at the prone figure. He jumped back, just in case it was all an act, but the male didn't move. "Oh no, I'm going to be killed too," Liran wailed to himself. "I didn't mean to kill you, Mister Viking!"

He curled up in a ball, staring at the figure. Oooh, Vittorio was going to be so sad.

He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do, but after a few moments he noticed that his opponent was, thankfully, still breathing. He hesitated, before moving closer, to keep an ear out just in case he stopped breathing, he waited.

And waited.

and waited.

It felt like forever, but soon, there was movement.

Diya

Diya came back slowly, his vision blurred and a throbbing in his skull. Ahh, it hurt. What happened? Did he get bulled over by a bison or something?

He squinted his eyes, opening them slowly until the concerned face of Liran sprung into focus, extremely close and extremely panicked.

"Ugh!" He grunted, pulling away from the male and regretting it instantly. Ouch! His head hurt.

Liran

"You're alive!" Liran crowed with delight. "I am so glad!"

He hesitated, peering at the male with a look of open curiousity.

"...does this mean I win?

Diya

Diya groaned, resting his head back against the cold ground, and closing his eyes. He wanted to get up and finish the fight, but it was clear who had won. He heaved a heavy, frustrated sigh.

"Welcome to the pride."

This was not his finest moment.

Liran

"Yay!" Liran cheered loudly, bouncing to his paws. He had won! He was in! They couldn't kick him out now! He continued to make noise, not hearing Diya's moan of pain at the loud noise.

"I have to go find Vittorio! Vittorio! Vittorio!" He yelled, as he raced off to find his brother, leaving the dark blue male lying on the ground.
