[Fight] Bahra vs. Shahin - FIN

Shahin was starting to loose concentration from all of his wounds. None were too large or to devastating but there were so many it was almost too much. But they were closer now so attacks wouldn't need as much energy to follow threw with. Just as he thought that he felt a clawed paw push on his neck, but his mane was thick and he knew it would take more effort and force then a normal lion would be able to produce with such little room to penetrate it. So he concentrated more on the teeth quickly heading towards his shoulder and he bit at her jaw for a distraction and used his hind legs to maybe kick her away and hopefully open some wounds on her tender belly. The bird came back, how aggravating, he couldn't bother to deal with it, the lion was a much bigger danger, so even though it hurt he let the bird pick at his face.

Bahra was woefully unsuccessful in her attempt. Not only did her claws slide right out of his mane, but as she tried to sink her own teeth into his shoulder, he in turn sank his fangs into her face! She hissed in pain and outrage, but had even that sound driven from her as his hind legs came into play. The breath whooshed out of her as she was shoved away from him. No warm, liquid sensation from her belly told her that at least she'd been saved that drastic injury, though.

She staggered backwards further, trying to catch her breath and clear her head. She would not lose to this horrid male! Her feminine pride sent rage roaring through her blood once more, and she lunged for his face with both paws full of claws aimed at his eyes.

Dissapointment flashed as he failed to mar her belly but at least he managed to remove her and protect himself from her jaw. Now that he was free of her he Quickly swatted at the bird attempting to permanently taking it out of the fight. Just then the Lioness came back to strike at his face. Why couldn't she give up. This land was theirs and he wasn't going to let her get through him for it. Evene though he was slow and tired now he reared up away from her claws and tried to land claw first on her back.

She watched in agony of spirit as the male not only avoided her double-pawed attack, but then swatted at her avian friend. Feathers flew, and she heard a pained screech before Zinkia tumbled from the air and out of sight behind some thick foliage. So distracted was she by the idea that her fight had gotten someone else hurt, she did not dodge his return attack well enough, not nearly well enough.

Lines of fire burned down her back, tracks of claws unmercifully applied. She roared her pain, both of body and of spirit. This. This was why they fought the Burk. The terrible, wicked, selfish, uncaring Burk! With a snarl curling her lips back she stalked in a circle around her enemy, tail lashing, mind cold with logic once more. She was losing this fight. She had to be tactical about her attacks, not heedless.

Her next attack was similar to her last one, but with much more finesse. She had to find a way to reduce his advantages of being bigger and heavier. So she aimed one paw towards his face, striking with a large, powerful swing. That was not her true move, though. With the other paw, she followed up with a swifter, better aimed strike. Her goal was to make him dodge her first paw and put himself and his eye into the path of the second. If it didn't work, she was already poised to try and counter his next move. Or so she hoped, for Zinkia's sake.

Shahin didn't even turn to watch as the bird fell from the sky. It had attacked it was on the enemies side, he was in full right to maim the animal. If the creature didn't wish to risk death it should have stayed out of the fight. But he did stop and watch the enemy lioness. She was circling him now, maybe saving energy or confusing him? He couldn't know but he stayed still in one spot and tracked her movements with his ears instead of his eyes, it was a little difficult with the noise from the other fights drowning out the subtle movements of her paws and the huffs of her breath. But then she came for his face which the two paws to the face, a move she seemed to favor. But he knew how to get away from this, just rear up. Well thats what he had been doing but he didn't want to do such a defensive move anymore. He finally felt like he had the upper hand so he was going to use it to finally end things. So he crouched forward below her claws ready to take some on his back for this next move as he raised again under her pushing up as hard as he could. If he was successful this move would throw her onto her back winded so he could pounce and maybe rip out her throat.

Her attempt to distract him to think she was striking with just one paw hadn't worked. It had failed miserably, in fact, and now she was in trouble. She saw him duck low and groaned inwardly. Her belly still ached with the kick she received, and now... now she knew what was coming next. Cuts, bites, and scratches she could bull through, but all this bloodless damage to her midsection was beginning to take a major toll on her.

She went flying with a grunt, thrown up and to the side. She tried to keep her body loose, but her chest felt like a weight was on it, making it hard to breathe as she careened across the sand. She landed, bounced, and rolled, allowing her momentum to carry her as far from him as possible. She wasn't running, she was protecting herself. The distance gave her a moment to stagger to her paws, chest burning, tail and head hanging low. This was not good.

She tried to take a deep breath but was cut off by a sharp jab of pain. Wonderful, a broken rib on top of it all! She gritted her teeth and tensed her muscles, doing her best to ignore the pain as he leaped at her. Time for a new tactic. As he descended on her, she threw herself to the ground once more, this time rolling on her back and presenting all four paws upwards to him, claws extended, hind paws protecting her vulnerable and bruised belly.

He was coming down fast and barely had time to register the claws positioned to protect the injured lioness. He didn't know what he could do, maybe twist to the side falling in the sand and hoping to get back up in time to injure her before she could get up? Or take some scratches and attack her here and now? No time to think anymore he chose a third option and scrapped his paw across her raised front paws hoping to move them out of the way while he fell onto of her, not the death strike he was aiming for but it would protect him from anymore injury and maybe knock her out, he needed to think about the fact there might be more fighting if there were more of these scum wandering around.

His swipe across her front paws was deadly accurate this time. He caught her high on one leg, near her shoulder, and his claws hooked deep. As his momentum carried the strike, those razor sharp claws raked from her shoulder all the way down her leg, dragging her entire body that direction in an instinctive attempt to stop the pain. Her hind legs followed her front, and he landed hard on her, likely cracking another rib in the process.

A strangled scream tore from her throat raggedly, her mind spinning with the pain. She began to drag herself away from the male, attempting to get out of his range before he did further damage. She had to find Zinkia! She had to... she had to... her mind was fuzzy, and she stifled a sob from sneaking between her teeth. Her brother was the Bey! She had to have dignity! Ferocity! And victory... though that clearly was not to be hers this time.

Without looking back at him, she dragged herself to her paws with a groan and dove into the foliage. She hated admitting defeat, but this fight was lost, and getting herself killed would do her people no good.

Shahin Lay panting as he watched the broken lioness slink away. He was exhausted and injured and he just wanted to lie there. But he also wanted to chase after her and end her. One less of the enemy the better. Instead he just got up sucked in a deep breath and roared loud and triumphant in his win. He did his pride honor and helped protect the oasis and he was proud. But then he fell to the floor and closed his eyes, resting but not sleeping.
