"Believe me, Valena. It's not your toes your husband will want to keep you on," Blom informed her, winking.

A different kind of lion might have been uncomfortable with all the hints Valena seemed to be dropping about the satisfaction to be had by marrying her, but Blomkvist was used to not taking her particularly seriously, and so he just felt that the conversation had become somewhat ridiculous. It was, as she said, time for her to head out.

"I wouldn't dream of getting married to anyone you had not thoroughly investigated," Blom answered seriously, even though he had doubts about the usefulness of her advice.

He didn't think too much about Valena's love or sex life, but if pressed he would have said that she was inexperienced, and possibly virginal. Generally, only people who weren't having sex took as much interest in the sex other people were having as Valena did. Except Blomkvist. He, of course, was just rolling in ladies. Ahem.

"Anyway, it was good to speak with you. I hope we can get together to talk again."

The noise that came out of Valena was an almost shrill, unholy giggle when Blom mentioned her toes. She was certain that her nose was glowing with a blush, but she didn't dare say anything about it. No, all she did was make the noise again and flap a paw coquettishly.

He was totally in to her. She had to play it cool. She had to play it so cool right now, or she'd blow it.

"Oh, Blomkvist," she tittered softly as she rose to her feet and made her way to the mouth of his den. "We'll be getting together very soon."

Not to talk, if she had her way. She really couldn't imagine a lion better suited to her than Blomkvist. They did share so many hobbies, after all. Gossiping, for one. Listening to the whispers around them, for another.

Two shared hobbies was not a rocky start.

"See you soon," she purred as she left, the sound a little awkward.
