Sparrow sat in her nest, a piece of freshly slaughtered animal meat in her hands. Her eyes looked to the two others that she now had to share her nest with, though they only rested on the second for but a moment. Often, she forgot that that one even existed. That night on Valentine's day... There had been pae'll that genuinely frightened her, that's very sight told her she needed to get away. Now.
And some while later, she layed two eggs.
After more time, they hatched. A proud and magnificent blue bird that she called Steller Jay, and then another given the name Nighthawk. It was a strange occurrence, but not one that was necessarily bad. Actually, at times she rather enjoyed having others that depended on her for once. At least these ones wouldn't, or rather couldn't, leave her. "Hey Steller Jay, you hungry?"

Smiling brightly at the girl's vigor, Sparrow ripped a sizable piece from the meat and handed it to Steller Jay. "Here you go then. Make sure you eat a lot if you want to get big and strong like your mom here!" Mom? Yeah... She was a mom now, wasn't she? Just like Valentine's had brought her to Twinkleshine, this one... err two... were brought to her. Leaning back on the nest's edge, she lifted the rest of her kill to her mouth, closed her eyes, and began to eat.
 The second of the chicks, Nighthawk, was sitting behind her sister at the other side of the nest. Compared to her older twin, even in appearance she was much more petite. This was mostly due to the little food or attention she received in general. Watching her sister quietly, she waited for her to fill her stomach so that she could ask for the leftovers.
