Kocoi had found the pride a little less than welcoming since he had gotten to it, but had warmed up to him a little bit. He was sure it'd only take a matter of time before he was more part of the pride. He just needed to sit back and try to enjoy things while he waited for that time. He sighed as he found a nice rock that he could bask in the sun. It wasn't particularly warm, but it was nice to sit in the sun regardless.
Kiel had been also soaking up the sun's rays next to Kocoi. He did block out a lot of the sun when he moved, but she just have to make a sound and he'd move out of her way. "This is the life." She decided as she sat with her wings spread out on the rock behind him. Her eyes closed but her head was pointing in his direction.
"That it is, Kiel" Kocoi had to agree. Nothing could be better right now than a nice soak in the sun. It may seem pretty boring for the moment, but it was the only thing he could do for the time. He wished something would disrupt them and make things a little more exciting than they had been the past few days. Sure, he thought he made some friends, but there was much more to do than that.
"Just don't move your big butt, I don't need you blocking out the sun again" She said with a huff, though it was mostly a joke. She gave a little chuckle at her own comment, and opened an eye to peak at her furry friend. "I'll have to bask on you, if you do." She added just for good measures. She knew how much he hated when she used him as a bed. He hadn't been as annoyed since they got here, but she wasn't about to get use to it too much. Most everyone had feathered friends.
