Dark brown hair swept across a smooth pale forehead, long lashes flutter open as a young waitress places a small cup in front of a young man. His amber brown eyes glance up at her as a thank you and she then scurries on her way to wait another table.
Long sturdy fingers clasp the cup gently and raise it to parted pale lips, taking a sip the young man darts his eyes to the left of him as another man stands beside him.
"Shin-kun, does it happen to be your day off?" the man asked with a smile, as he set a picture of Sake on the table for Shin.
"Ha, no Ikiku. Just taking a break. The palace is very busy today, what with it being the youngest Prince's birthday."
"Ah yes, thirteen today isn't he." Ikiku grinned, his blue eyes open slightly.
"Yes, yes he is. He is growing fast." Shin laughed and downed the rest of his cup, and readied himself another cup.

Drawn to the sound of merrymaking and the smell of food, the young, Celestial pushes the heavy oak door to the tavern open just enough to allow his slim, winged figure to slip inside. An innocent smile quickly comes to the Angel's face when he sees that the people in the tavern were having such a wonderful time. Little did the Celestial being know was that his stark white robes and large, elegant wings were drawing the wrong kind of attention. It was just a few short hours ago that the angel had come down from heaven to the mortal world for the first time. Karth might as well have been wearing a bright, colorful sign that said " I am dumb and naive." on his back.

He finds himself an empty seat and smooths out his flawless robes. When he looks up, he sees that three, rather large men were standing in front of him.

" Evening, little Lass. It appears that you're new to the area.", said one of the men as he pushes aside his cloak to rest his hand on his belt, next to a rather large, dangerous looking knife.

Completely oblivious to the gesture, the Angel's face flushes red from being mistaken for a female....again. Once more, he smiles sweetly and nervously plays with a lock of his shimmering blonde hair.

" oh no, kind sir. I am not a lass but you are correct about the fact that I'm very new here."

While Shin and Ikiku talked amongst themselves, Shin noticed the door to the tavern open and a beautiful young woman with long blond hair enter the establishment.
Both men looked towards the door and Ikiku was quick to grin with a comment. "What a pretty lass." he leaned towards Shin and elbowed him in the upper arm. "Why not go make friends with the...oh dear.." Ikiku stopped mid-sentence as three larger men whom were no strangers to trouble quickly made their way to the young girl.

Shin stood with the grace of a falling cherry blossom as his robes shuffled along with him.
While on duty he was sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and those men had been giving him hell all month.
"Shin-kun?"
"Stay put this wont take long my friend." Shin scoffed.

The waitresses stepped back behind the counters as the young guard stopped behind the three men.
"Tarou, Shukagu, Chidoru...haven't the three of you bothered enough women this month?" Shin rested his hand on the hilt of his katana.

The biggest of the three turned and smirked, "Not by a long shot!" he laughed and swung his arm to push back Shin.
Shin leaned back, allowing the mans arm to swing past him but not even close to touching him.
"Tarou...you know I can arrest you and your brothers."
"Like hell you can!" the two others chuckled as all three charged towards the guard.
Shin rolled his eyes and very easily jumped onto the shoulders of the middle brother Shukagu and then from his shoulders to the table the girl was sitting at, picking her up from her seat he then jumped off the table and ran with her, leaving the three there looking as dumb as the day they were born.

"Wait..." while Shin was running he cupped the chest of the 'girl' in his arms..."You're a..." he stopped half way to the palace and blinked at the one in his arms..
