☆ LOOKS DEPARTMENT:
Ellie is tall for her age, being 4'2 already and weighing approximately 60lbs. she has golden skin, with little to no hair on it and minimal faint freckles near her nose. Her hair is a light brown color lighter than her mothers, with strawberry blonde highlights, slightly wavy and is shoulder length. She likes to where her hair up in a high pony tail or in cute pig tails (6 and 7). She has small hands and feet with small hips and a slim body.
Her favorite color is blue and light yellows and oranges, usually those are the colors she wears. Normally, she wears shorts or a skirt with a tank top or short sleeve shirts either blue, orange, or yellow, she isn't a fan of socks or shoes, this is what she wears when she isn't fighting crime. something like this maybe  .
When she is kicking butt and taking names she wears an electric blue costume. It includes shorts and a long sleeve shirt with knee high socks to keep her covered, it is made out of thin rubber to keep her electricity in and concentrated to her hands which aren't covered, as well as the material is breathable to keep her temperature down. |

☆ POWERS/ABILITIES:
Electrostatic Energy manipulation- the ability to manipulate electrostatic energy. Electrostatic energy is the potential energy which a collection of electric charges possesses by virtue of their positions relative to each other, so basically electrostatic energy is electricity. She wears a fine crystal covered in silicon, filled with electrons from her body where her energy is stored. The crystal is what helps control the electrons taken into her body, stores her energy flow, and keeps her from taking in too much, causing her to short circuit, and focus the energy into one place or else she would be discharging electricity at random; the silicon is what helps keep the electricity in the crystal. She must recharge herself by being near a circuit. The electrons in her crystal attract the electrons from atoms in the circuits to her body to replenish her electron count, basically she absorbs electrons which produces electricity. When she is low on electrons she feels tired , which is her sign to go recharge. She can manipulate the electricity in her body and focus it into her finger tips by snapping her fingers and concentrating. Also, when she is fully charged she has enhanced speed and strength, but only for a certain amount of time. Lastly she can discharge small amounts (bursts) of electricity from her fingers (i.e sending small sparks of electricity out of her hands at a target). Only when charged and when she has generated energy into her fingers already, although she doesn't have much control over the bursts and where they go.
* note- it takes about 30 min - 1 hour to recharge
The crystal is made of a normal white crystal so that electrons can enter into the crystal from the top which is not covered by hardened silicon, the silicon is used to keep the electrons from leaving her body and crystal easily*
☆ POWER ORIGIN:
Genetic Mutation- Her mom is crazy about everything Electric. After constant interactions with shocks and a few electrocutions when her mom was pregnant, it became embedded in her DNA.
☆ HISTORY:
Ellie's mom had always had a thing for electricity and electronics. Since a young age her mom Mari had been messing around with anything with electricity in it, even circuits. When her mom was in her early 20’s she began working for electric companies, helping repair wires and then eventually becoming a scientists for those companies. Like those who are sports stars and get cuts, scrapes and bruises, she would get burns from continuous electric shocks. Mari a few years after getting her job at one of the finest labs, who work with electricity, met a man who was involved with metal work and she soon fell in love; not to long after, she became pregnant and Mari believed everything would be perfect. Once her lover found out about the pregnancy he swiftly left Sewit and never spoke to Mari or Ellie again, leaving little to nothing for them. Mari was heart broken and blamed it on herself for running into a relationship so fast, but being the strong woman she was she continued on with life knowing Elijgah would need her more than ever. Even when Mari was pregnant with Elijgah she continued to work in the lab getting brown and sore fingers; up until her water broke. Ever since she was born there had been something different about her. Her skin was not her mom’s pale color but a tan one, her eyes a light yellow-green, her hair a light brown with strawberry blonde highlights, and her skin always warm. Ellie had little traces of her father who looked similar to her mother’s complexion and hair color, except he had blue eyes and Mari had brown ones. The doctors diagnosed Ellie at an early age, about 4 to have an unusual electron count, creating a lot of curiosity about her daughter’s condition and what this diagnosis meant. Ellie's veins mostly consisted of atoms, with more electrons than normal, yes she had blood but something wasn't right. Eventually, her mother came to know about her powers, for 3 years to be exact, but not exactly everything she could do or was capable of doing. She conducted tests on her daughter and was quite fascinated in her condition. She even made the crystal with the silicon covering to control Ellie's powers after several incidents that Ellie discharged electricity without warning. Before Ellie was home schooled she went to school up until she was around five or six at a private school. The day happened to be Father's day and a few kids began to wonder why Ellie never brought her father, all of the kids she went to school with were from rich families that had never experienced having only one parent and disliked those who did. These kids began questioning her but she never knew the answer for sure her mom never told her and she never asked, only the occasional "when is daddy coming back?" "i'm not sure sweety" and " do i have a dad" "of course how else could i have had you". She couldn't take all these questions and became dizzy and overwhelmed. When she decided to leave, and go to the bathroom to wipe her face in private, one of the kids grabbed her arm and was instantly shocked, the teacher however only thought it was a static shock, but for some reason hurt the young kid a lot more. Mari and Ellie were very close and she tried to keep Ellie from feeling sad about the issue with her father, but it was hard for Ellie to not think that her father left because of her. After That incident at the private school Ellie asked her mom about her father, and Mari realized she had to be truthful. She told Ellie everything, but put the blame mostly on herself that she shouldn't have put her daughter through this because she thought she was in love. Ellie didn't go to private school or any that involved other children for long after that incident but was home schooled, and had few real friends but had befriended her neighborhood. Being home schooled gave Ellie time to learn more and her mother took full advantage of that, buying Ellie knew books, tutoring her, taking her to the lab, buying her rewards for her good behavior and for learning so much. Ellie became very spoiled at that point but she still was very sensitive and very cheerful though. Normally Ellie was a pleasant cheerful girl and didn't become as stubborn as she is today until she was home schooled, since her mother tried to cram as much knowledge into the tiny girl before she became to old to retain information easily. Ellie assumed she must know everything since her mom was a scientist and most kids her age knew little about electricity unlike her. She also was used to getting things to occupy her time at home, making her feel as if she didn't have to do what others say if she didn't like it and she began to argue. She would only be obnoxious or stubborn with her mom sometimes and her mom didn't think much of it since Ellie needed things to do at home, that arguing showed advancement in knowledge, and thought it was a result of not having a father. Ellie was always friendly unless others seemed to be mean to her, especially if it pertained to the subject of her dad. Most families in her neighborhood were families that had both parents, and those kids didn't always understand why some kids did not have two parents. The kids who lived and grew up with Ellie eventually were told by there parents why some kids are less fortunate when it comes to having two parents, and those kids understood and continued growing and playing with Ellie. She had always maintained a good relationship with those kids, playing and being cheerful, but didn't have many good friends due to new families arriving and thinking she was always right because she seemed to know more than kids her age. After her incident with one of the new kids Ellie's mom knew that it was becoming unsafe to keep her daughter whose power is currently unstable and emotions unstable around young kids who could effect her emotions instantly. As time went on and Ellie became smarter and began analyzing past incidents she realized something hadn't seemed right about the kids always getting shocked, soon she began piecing things together. All the tests conducted on her and the weird experiences with shocks , she asked her mom about what she found in those tests and Mari knew the only way to help her daughter was to be truthful, and she told her how she was different and has a certain power that relates to electricity. Soon Mari came to her senses, knowing she wouldn't be able to control her daughter and Ellie was a handful already with being spoiled having a short temper at times when things didn't go her way or when she was being 'bullied'. She knew her daughter needed a safer environment where she could learn about her powers and grow as a person too. After hearing about the side kick academy she quickly enrolled Ellie; although Ellie was reluctant at first she realized it was for the best even if she would be far from her mother, her only family figurre.
☆ MOTIVATION:
Her mom after knowing of her daughters powers for a few years decided she would be better off with people like her, who could help her learn and harness her power for good. Ellie had become to much to handle as she grew older and as she began experimenting with her power, things became dangerous. Mari did not want anything to happen to her unique daughter, since she knew what could happen to Ellie if others knew of this 'mutation'. Mari had worked in Labs most of her life. One day when Ellie was home alone she was playing with a new girl two years younger than Ellie in her front yard,the girl questioned her about never seeing Ellie's father before. Soon it became to much to handle and Ellie became emotional, and she lost that cheerful smile not talking to the girl or becoming defensive, eventually Ellie left. Later, she saw the other girl flaunting her new toys to the other kids, and Ellie decided to investigate as well as give the girl another chance. If only Ellie knew when she came back down the girl would became very stingy with Ellie, not sharing and not speaking to her. This angered Ellie even more and without warning ZAP! when Ellie went to take the toy from the girl she shocked the young girls hands and the little girl fell down crying. All the other kids were confused and didn't understand how the cheerful girl they knew had harmed a younger kid. When Ellie's mom came home she was in tears and wanted to move away, She told Mari everything and how the little girl provoked her and she didn't mean to shock her, this was what galvanized Mari to send Ellie somewhere safe. Although Ellie was not pleased at first with her mother’s decision of sending her away and not coming along, she understood it was for her best interest. She didn't want to leave the mom she knew and loved, but knew if she wanted to stop harming people she had to go away for a little and learn. plus who would’t love being around unique people like her. Soon Ellie came to her senses even more and thought about the good her power could eventually do. She only knew of a few people with special powers who ended up helping people, and decided maybe this power and going to this school could be a good thing. At this time she wasn't thinking to far in the future, all she wanted was to be able to gain more control of her power and then be able to return home, maybe this experience would change her mind further to become a hero? |

☆ STRENGTHS:
Clever-She is very clever when it comes to how to fix anything that uses electricity, or just a vast knowledge for electricity. She enjoys learning about other things, being home schooled has given her time to indulge herself in new material and learn things she has very little knowledge of. She has had some time to learn from her mother as well who makes it known that the only way Ellie can harness this power is to know as much about electricity and about her genetics as possible. Also she fancies it anyways, electricity and electrons are quite fascinating with how they work and what things they create.
Never cold- Having a lot of electricity bouncing through your veins raises your temperature above normal, about 110 degree's Fahrenheit; it’s as if you are a computer being used for a long time and your hard drive heats up, only you are the hard drive heating up. The vibrations of the atoms heats up which should cause her to glow but her skin retains the heat instead. Only her skin heats up, it has no effect on the environment around her.
Enhanced Abilities- When she is fully charged there is a lot of energy she can use and it enhances her strength and speed as well helping her complete hard tasks quicker and easier even though there is a limited time she has these enhancements. The energy flowing in her enhances her speed by giving her more energy making her slightly faster and have more stamina, although she only has these abilities in small quantities.
☆ WEAKNESSES:
Water- Water is a big no-no unless her body is covered in an insulator to keep her body from short circuiting or electrocuting her self.
OUCH- Even though it may be obvious that she should be immune to electric shocks since electricity flows through her veins, If she isn’t careful when her fingers are charged with electricity she can shock herself. She hasn’t learned or gained immunization to electricity unless the part of her body that touches the current is already charged, if not then Zap!
Insulators- They have their pros and cons, but for her they aren’t always helpful. If she were surrounded by insulators such as rubber her sparks would have no effect and would not be able to travel through it. Even if a person is wearing any kind of insulator they will not get the full effect of the shock.
☆ PERSONALITY:
Energetic- She is a bubbly girl who is always moving around and high on energy, sometimes that causes her to talk fast, not finish sentences and be jumping up and down, but it also makes her outgoing.
Cheerful- She is a very happy kid always smiling and wanting to brighten up others day. She likes to be around lots of people since she doesn't always get to experience that.
Shrewd- She is a clever girl when it comes to electricity and electronics; she got it from her mother and having this power related to electricity. She is as determined as her mom to gain knowledge but is also cunning. She has started to become sly, since gaining the enhanced speed and strength she is learning how to be more agile and quiet generating her energy into something more focused.
Sensitive- She is a happy and energy filled girl but she doesn't like meanies, she may come off to be tough when others are mean but inside she feels hurt, maybe it has something to do with her father never being there and having to look like she is alright when in fact she isn't. Her feeling can be directly affected by other peoples actions, but covers up her emotions with a smiling face.
Obstinate- When she is arguing with someone or is told to do something she doesn't want to do, she can become quite stubborn. She won’t go down without a fight trying to convince someone she is either right or persuading them to do as she says. Originally she was not as stubborn as she is at this age, ever since she became home schooled and was spoiled she became obstinate. Her mom spoiled her giving her all she wanted, so that Ellie would be happy and not dwell on her father, as well as to keep her busy when she was away. Also when Ellie was young her mom began to teach Ellie more than what was required, and Ellie would flaunt that knowledge sometimes around the other kids in her neighborhood, who became fascinated for a while in what Ellie knew. Soon the kids grew tired of it and Ellie realized, this didn't stop her though from flaunting it and arguing about getting things her way with them and others. Her friends soon accepted it and ignored it.
☆ LIKES:
Rain storms- Preferably ones with lightning, it really get her energized and is very interesting to see.
Plugs- That sounds bad, but she is naturally drawn to them; she even likes to put forks in the plug.
Knitting- Sounds like an old person’s hobby but when you rub the wool together it gets all warm and cozy.
Running- She has a lot of energy and running is a great way to let off that energy, and afterwards she’s ready for a nice nap.
☆ DISLIKES:
Water- She may love rain storms but she hates being wet if she can avoid it, something about electricity and water don’t mix.
Rubber or silicon- When she is surrounded or touching those materials her powers weaken, the electricity cannot travel through those items; the only exception is in her costume because all the electricity goes to her hands which aren't covered, and her crystal which has silicon over it to keep the energy in.
Being still- She cannot sit still for very long, or stay on task sometimes. This is why at her age now it is hard for her to focus the energy into one place without something going wrong. She likes to move around and be active, as well as get all her extra energy out. It is most likely caused by the intense amount of electricity flowing through her veins.e |

It's great that you're back with a new quest! : D
I'll just leave you a bit of crit to start you off.
@Age
The age is fine, but I'm just going to go ahead and point out… That I work with kids at this age and none of them are 5'4", not even 5'. I think this would be a little beyond abnormal, unless you actually have met an 8 year old at this height…. I find it really hard to buy. Or maybe this is related to her abilities and you can provide some good reasoning behind it?
And your note on not wearing shoes/socks, I think this is totally fine to leave be. Unless you mean she wants to feel acceptable to others IC, so she wears them.

I like how you've clearly stated what she can do with her abilities.
But I'm wondering how long does it take her to recharge?
And does she have any goals at being at SA? Would she be interested in becoming a hero? What's her feelings on that aspect?

Did her father have natural strawberry blond streaks in his hair…? Is that where she gets it from? Just wondering about this minor detail. lol.
Also, what is this crystal made from?
How does her mom feel about being left after telling her guy that she was pregnant? Was she straight with Elijgah about her father from the get-go? Telling her that her father left them because of her? Cause that sounds kind of mean to say to a young child… 'Your father left us because of you.' The way you've written it makes it sound like it came out this way. xD;;
Which makes me a bit nervous. Of course I can tell that her mom loves her kid though. So I find it odd that she would just come out and say something like that.
How does Elijgah feel about her powers? Her mom? And about going to school with other kids and then being homeschooled? How was her interaction with other kids?
You mention her mom wanted to send her some place safe, why? Was their neighborhood dangerous? Did something happen to make her feel extra protective over her daughter? And why was Elijgah against gong to SA?
8 is still pretty young to be letting your kid live at a school, I suggest having a real catalyst that caused the decision making for her to be sent to SA.
Also another sort of random question… Does Elijgah eat? I mean, clearly her body behaves differently. Or does she have accelerated metabolism? But it sounds like she could just charge herself on electricity and be ready to go, so how necessary is it for her to have to eat?

Just be careful with the 'faster' thing, don't want it to turn into super speed. So it might be a good thing to note on exactly how much faster she can be with the extra charge.
@Personality
The obstinate trait, is she like this with her mom? The way you describe this trait also makes me think that she's a bit spoiled, is she?
To always think she's right or that people should do what she says at age 8 can be seen as quite obnoxious. Not that there's anything wrong with this, I think it's a good flaw to her character but it could use some more elaboration I think.

One of her weaknesses is water, but she likes rainstorms? This is a really odd contradiction.
