No matter how the little pup looked at the situation she could not deny the facts. It was day, the time of sleeping, and yet sleep could not find Anemy. She had rolled over eight times at least but could still not seem to sleep peacefully. She nudged Ahote in the side. He and Anemy had done the pride proud, bringing back a whole rock sized meteorite from the lake. She smirked at remembering her accompishment. How could she forget it? That thing was heavy!
She yawned, but not because she was tired. No, no, no. It was because she was so dreadfully bored. She had long ago accepted that she was going to have to pull another all-nighter, but now she had to accept that no one else was awake. Tch, what a waste of time. If they didn't sleep all day they'd have more time to play! How did her family not see that.
The pup stood up. Her family was now too boring to even be in the same room with. She didn't want to become boring like them! Save Ahote, he was pretty cool. She shook her head, even Ahote was sleeping. Curse him, that traitor! She stomped out of the den in a fit of rage... If even Ahote was asleep, Anemy could only do one more thing to brighten the situation. She needed a new playmate. Someone who didn't mind being woken up while the sun was still shining.
