She was home! Well home in a sense, she had literally stepped across the borders into the welcoming embrace of her mother and the pride but she still had so much to do. She had certain individuals to hunt down and say hello to, she had to recount her adventures to the young and old alike, and then she needed to go and locate her old haunts. In many respects these activities were all fairly mundane, but she had always led the simple life and to her, she wouldn't have it any other way.
It was for this reason that Avichayil (or Cayla for short) was still so close to the borders. She was exploring what she had previously been unable to and as such she was far more accessible to foreigners. Admittedly her deep green coat would camouflage her quite a bit but she had a knack for giving herself away, after all, Cayla had a notoriously loud paw step and sounded more like a rampaging rhino than a graceful dancer. She left grace and dignity to the others in her family...
Suffice to say that on a personal level, Cayla was a nutcase!
Alas, with a reasonably distracted and dazed expression upon her features, the young lioness proceeded across along the jungle's edge, picking her way through the dried soil that lay on the borders. Out here the world was exposed to the sun and she had always been fascinated by how different it looked just a few more feet into the shelter of the canopy.

Raha-mkataa, once known as "Moto'nyota" to many, found herself near the borders once more. Orange-amber eyes were watching for something, her heart waiting for something...for what? Perhaps for Taswira and Set to come and join her after their mission in the Aikanaro'hini was finished? Perhaps. All she knew was that she was waiting for something...Contently waiting, however. In the Jini-msemi, she finally had the peace she'd been denied for so long. That peace had even become the source of her new name. She took a deep breath, an action that was interrupted by very loud pawsteps.
Startling a bit, the scarred lioness looked around rather quickly, ears back and tail twitching until her sight settled on the source. And she blinked. Hm? The young one looked rather like Mle's adopted daughter. The girl who went by Pata'chasi wenzi now. Smiling, the old lioness called out. "Hello, there! Recently arrived home?"
