Nyota was lazing about in the den that her family called home. Or at least that's what she made it look like she was doing. In reality she was just waiting for another opportunity to sneak out and look for someone to play with. Perhaps she could visit the costumers today. They always seemed to have interesting things to do and see. Or maybe, just maybe she could sneak out of the prides land and visit the rogue lands. Sure it was dangerous there, but that's where some of the best fun was.

Nyota rolled onto her side and glanced at her siblings. Well they seemed distracted enough, so now was the time to leave. Rising to her paws slowly she padded to their homes entrance in silence and with one quick glance back to make sure she hadn't been caught slinked out.

In the short span of her lifetime, Raziela had learned plenty. She had learned not to slosh in mud, in order to keep her paws clean and white, but that sloshing in water would cleanse her fur of dirt. She had learned that the purple in her coat rendered her a Noble - though she had yet to figure out the extent of what that rank entailed. Beyond that, however, she had learned that her sister Nyota could do anything she wanted.

Raziela had decided that it wasn't that rules didn't apply to Nyota, as she had first imagined, but that Nyota simply did not care to follow them. Nor did she seem to care to suffer the consequences that came with the breaking of rules, and, as such, she didn't. Raziela often wondered what it was like, to be exempt from rules simply through apathy.

Or perhaps it was another reason entirely.

Whatever it was, she had decided that she would find out, and as her purple coated sister padded toward the den mouth, Raziela leapt to her paws and scrambled after Nyota. "Hey, hey, where you going?" She dropped into a crouch and launched herself after Nyota, in the hopes of tackling her sister.

Nyota tried to hurry out of the way, but didn't succeed. She hit the floor as Raziela pounced on her, letting out a small 'Oof' as she did. Shaking her sister off her Nyota scrambled back to her feet. "Keep it down." She quietly snapped at her sister. "I won't be going anywhere if you make too much noise." With a sigh Nyota motioned for her sister to follow and exited the den before they attracted more attention.

Once outside Nyota looked at her sister. Recently several of her siblings had decided to tag along on one or more of her adventures just to see what all the fuss was about. Now Nyota didn't mind that too much, as long as they didn't slow her down, get her caught or complain about where they went or who they saw. Giving her sister a small shrug she glanced our towards the rest of the pride lands. "Not sure where I am going. Depends on where the guards are right now I suppose." If there was one thing Nyota hated more than anything was getting caught by the guards while trying to sneak out and then being dragged back home for punishment.

Heh. That was fun. As Raziela hopped back onto her feet and shook the dust from her coat, she gave her sister a sheepish grin. Nyota's daring seemed to lend her a confidence that Raziela had yet to develop, and for that alone, the purple cub held a position of great authority in Raziela's eyes.

At Nyota's words, she piped down and followed carefully out of the den, throwing a glance back at their siblings for good measure. At least nobody else had caught on.

She scampered out after Nyota, and stopped next to her sister with a grin. "But how d'you know where they are?" She asked, peering out toward the vast expanse of pridelands like her sister had done, as if doing so would give her more of an idea as to where they would be headed. Adventuring was rather new to her, after all.

"Well..." She started as she continued forward somewhat slowly, peeking around a rock to look for any guards. "I don't know where they are." Nyota glanced back to make sure Raziela was sticking close, the last thing she needed was her sister to lag behind and get them caught. Double checking to make sure the cost was clear she continued forward at a trot. "Actually I kind of do know where they are. But their pattern of patrol is not always the same. So once I find one I have to watch them until I know when to make my move.

Ducking behind another rock, she poked her head out. Her eyes fell upon a guard. Well dang. He was just standing there, almost as if he expected her to come along about this time. They had been getting increasingly more vigilant after a few too many of her disappearing acts. No doubt their mother had told them to be more weary of her daughters wandering. Slowly though the guard walked away, off to check another location no doubt.

Pulling her head back she looked at her sister. "Okay, lesson number one. Never let the guards catch you. Because then you have to deal with mother." Nyota peeked out again, ensuring the guard was still gone. "Now follow me and stick close, if they catch you I'm not stopping." And with that she zipped out from behind the rock and dashed across a small open area before skidding to a stop behind another rock, waiting for her sister to come.

Raziela drew back at the sight of the guard. She couldn't help but feel as though getting caught was inevitable. Surely, at some point, that guard - or any of the other guards - would come along, look their way, and see the two of them plotting an escape into far more adventurous lands.

"But..." Before she could complete her sentence, Nyota had bounded away, and Raziela was left watching her violet sister's retreating figure. Never let the guards catch her - that was far more easily said than done. She couldn't very well just... think that she wouldn't get caught. That wouldn't work. Then she paused, considering the situation.

It wasn't as though there was anything she could truly do to prevent capture, if it was meant to be, was there? She glanced up at the sky with a small frown. So what was it that Fortune had in store for her today - escape or capture? She blinked her jade green eyes, and lowered her head to follow her sister's route.

"Here goes..." She muttered gently to herself, realizing that she should have followed Nyota as closely as possible. Too late now. She clamped her teeth down to hold back the squeal of terror that threatened to escape from her little muzzle, and with a sudden surge of courage, she exploded from her hiding place and dashed toward her sister, as quickly as her little legs could carry her.

Nyota was beginning to think that Raziela had chickened out when she didn't immediately follow. And if she hesitated much longer the guards would be back. Peeking out from behind the rock she finally caught sight of her sister clamoring after her. And it was about time too. Once her sister got close enough she called out to her. "I told you to stay close Raz. You're lucky those guards haven't come back yet." She had told her sister once already that if they caught her she would not stop. No reason in getting herself caught just cause Raz didn't listen to her.

Turning she took off again, her pace a bit slow so that Raz could keep up but so that she could also keep her eye out for guards now that she had to think about her sister as well. "So, is there anything you want to see?" Nyota asked as she continued to creep along. While she may not know every inch of the prides lands that well she certainly knew them better than Raziela did.

"Sorry..." She apologized sheepishly, ears drooping. Great, she had already started to ruin the great adventure. The little cub took a peek up at the sky again with a small frown. Perhaps she simply was not meant to be gallivanting around the pridelands like her sister did. It was a disappointing notion, to be sure, but she supposed she would come to terms with it eventually.

In any case, she refocused her attention back to the task at hand. "I won't do that again. Promise."

She padded along after Nyota as the purple cub turned, staying close to her sister. Nyota was right, after all. There was no sense in getting caught, now that they had made it out, and the fun had only just begun.

"Oh! Uhm," She paused to consider the question, surprised that Nyota had bothered to ask her at all. After all, Nyota was far more experienced in these matters than Raziela herself, and she had to admit, she had no idea where to go. Now that she had escaped teh confines of the den, the mere idea of being out was overwhelming her, and everything seemed to bear promises of unforgettable times. "Anywhere is fine with me. Where do you like to go?"

Nyota furrowed her brow in thought as she continued to walk. Where would be a good place to take Raziela. Well she usually went to the groundlings forest, but chances are the guards would check there first so best to think of a different place to go. What might Raziela find most interesting. The rogue lands might be a bit much for her on her first outing. Perhaps...something within the pride lands but far enough away from the Nobles mountain that they wouldn't get easily caught.

"Oh I know!" She exclaimed and then quickly lowered her voice. "We could go visit the costumers. They always have neat things to look at. Or maybe so see some of the performer. Maybe we can convince them to show up how to act like they do on stage."

Raziela's ears perked immediately at the suggestion. She would have been willing to go just about anywhere Nyota chose, but her sister's suggestion struck a chord in the little cub, and she nodded her head eagerly.

"Oh, yes, let's!" She agreed enthusiastically, almost forgetting their location and raising her voice. Ah, theater. The very idea excited her beyond comprehension. There was something so very mystical about the art of acting and performing that Raziela wished she could translate into words.

Yet, wasn't that the very purpose of art - to be able to move a creature? And was not emotion itself illogical, unexplainable? It made sense, then, that acting was not meant to be conveyed with words, but to be experienced and absorbed, and felt.

"You always think of the best places to go, Ny," she grinned.

Nyota gave her sister a quick look when she yelled out. See this was why she went alone on her outings, because she didn't have to worry about others giving her away. "Okay, follow me." Turning she headed out towards the area where the performers worked. Nyota herself had only been there a few times but either way she knew how to get there from where they were.

Winding the way through the area, avoiding patrolling guards and any nobles that happened to be out and about was almost too easy right now. Which had Nyota a bit worried, normally she had a much harder time sneaking through the pride than she did today. Maybe bringing Raz along wasn't such a bad idea. Finally she came to a stop. Up ahead was the stage area where the performers put on their plays. "Look we're here." She told Raz though she was certain her sister had seen the stage already. "Should we go see if they will let us look at their costumes? Or maybe they can show us how they pretend to do certain things."

She followed closely on Nyota's heels as they snuck through the pridelands, feeling for all the world as though they were embarking on a mission of some sort. The idea sent a feeling of great importance flooding through her. They were messengers, perhaps, off to deliver a message of great importance to the King. From another King, maybe. She grinned.

She recognized the stage a moment before Nyota announced that they had arrived, and she stopped beside her violet sister to marvel at their surroundings. This was so far removed from everything they were used to. So different. And though she had been here before, it had always been with their parents, or other adults, and never alone with only Nyota for company.

"Wow," she breathed, ears perked in interest as she surveyed the stage and everything that lay around it.

"Could we do both?" She asked, eager to learn any and all that she could about the curious culture that surrounded the stage and its performers.

Seeing her sister so excited about visiting the stage made Nyota glad she had tagged along. She had never known that her sister liked the theater so much. Nyota gave Raz a little bump with her shoulder. "Of course we can do both. We're nobles, we can do what we want." She said, letting out a small laugh.

Bounding off towards the stage Nyota took in everything. Sure she had been here before with her parents a couple of times, but never had she been so close to the stage. Coming to a stop not far from the stage she looked about for anything of interest. Maybe they could find some of the costume that the players used. Or maybe there would be a player around that they could talk with. "Raz, do you see anything?" She asked, hoping that her sister would locate something they could play with.

Raziela grinned, and nodded her cautious agreement. One of the perks of being noble, she supposed. She didn't know how many there were, or whether there actually were others - she had had little time in her as-yet short life to figure out. But perhaps that was the point of being noble, simply to be able to boss anyone around and get away with almost anything, or so it seemed. Perhaps that was the very essence of their social status.

She followed Nyota at a run, eager to approach and explore the stage up close, and be able to notice details that she might otherwise never have noticed before. She was unspeakably glad that Nyota had chosen to bring her here for their little adventure. There was nothing in the pride she found as fascinating as the stage and everything associated with it, and though she knew little about the ways of the theater, there seemed to be some magnetic pull emanating from its depths.

"Hm," She paused near the stage as well, scanning with her jade green eyes for something of interest. "There!" She fixed her gaze upon an irregularly shaped object, off-white in color, which lay some ways off at the other edge of the stage. "Oh, I think it's a... skull or something..."
