It's how I originally learned to sew, so I always fall back on it.

I didn't get a machine until I was 16...so...yeah.

Since my sister took my Singer, all I have is an old Kennmore that belonged to my grandma.

So's mine, and it's avacado colored!

The upside is the parts are metal and won't crap out and melt/break like newer models do.

down side is that they're so old, if it does break, its a little harder to find parts.

Yeah, but there's a shop where I live for stuff like that. So I'm lucky.

What I really want is an old fashioned sewing machine...
