TeaDidikai Sophist I was wondering if y'all can direct me to some nature religions that incorporate animistic beliefs, To the one that I serve Standing Stone comes to mind. Quote: I agree with Tea. The standing stone tradition is a great tradition. It's open to any one and can be solitary. The practices of this tradition are found with in Cunningham's Wicca for the solitary practioner and Living Wicca. The first book has the BOS in it. I will give my all

TeaDidikai Sophist I was wondering if y'all can direct me to some nature religions that incorporate animistic beliefs, Standing Stone comes to mind. Are you asking for a generic otherworld system with this?
Actually would you or Loona have any websites to recommend for this? Why is it called Wicca if you can self-initiate? I thought that this was an initiatory cult.

Sophist Actually would you or Loona have any websites to recommend for this? Not off the top of my head. But the books have multipal printings and you can currently get them off eBay for $5 and $8.25 respectively.
Quote: Why is it called Wicca if you can self-initiate? Marketing and early uses of the word and some disagreements between initiates as to the application of the title.
Quote: I thought that this was an initiatory cult. Wica is for sure. The rest is still up for debate.
