Mzuka'hila stretched her legs, giving a content purr as she did so, suppressing a wide yawn with her paw. Ah, at last! She was allowed out, to roam around again! She'd kind of missed the sun. She'd managed to get away with sitting at the front of the den to sun herself on a few days, but it didn't compare to actually being outside as the sun rose in the morning, casting shadows but at the same time warming the atmosphere pleasantly. Blinking her eyes, finally opening her grassy eyes with a smile, the female accessed her surroundings, wondering briefly if anything interesting or important had happened during her absence. She'd been visited a few times by some of the cubs, and Faiz's other banu had brought her food (since she'd been temporairily 'retired' from her duties), but she hadn't received much news on the pride. She expected Faiz felt much the same, perhaps even more so seeing as he was Vizier.

Casting her gaze over the other dens, she found herself surprised that no-one else seemed to be up. Although, everyone else hadn't been sleeping pretty solidly for the past few days. There wasn't much to entertain oneself in a den, and so Mzuka had found herself sleeping most days and nights - or, as she liked to call it, 'dozing'. Somewhere between sleeping and awake. She'd invented that herself! Another yawn rose and she fought it down, smiling to herself as she began forwards. Perhaps bringing Faiz a rabbit for when he awoke would be a nice gesture.

To say that Weyard had adapted to the most recent changes in her life would be accurate. To say she was thriving, or even taken to them, was another thing entirely. The frankly underhanded way she'd been brought to the pride, the rules that had been foisted on her, the failed escape...It all combined to make her rather dour of late. It was with a conflicted and somewhat heavy heart that she slunk out of Tariq's den this morning, looking for something, anything to do. She would run again, not yet at least, but sitting still and just waiting grated on her active nature. There was no love or even fondness for the black male in her actions to fetch things, to supply the den with food, anything.

Still she set to work, her dawny pelt blending in with the morning sky as well as any camouflage. She felt her gut rumble and she decided that a quick hunt was in order. Something she could bring back...or maybe something she could get away with eating on her own. If she was quick enough she could get back before the others woke and fetch water or some other menial task to cover her absence.

She rounded the corner of the den and slipped into the brush, the scent of morning rabbits fresh on the wind. They fed near dawn and again at dusk, even in this bizarre land. One or two would be quick prey...She hunkered down and began to stalk.

Ah, she'd missed this. The feeling of adrenaline pumping through your body, blood rushing as your breathing quickened to accomodate the increased heartbeat. The anticipation of the kill to come. Her grassy eyes scanned the brush around her, searching for any sign of movement. She was a good hunter - not the best, but better than average - and she loved it. A flash of pink and her head swivelled slowly, so as not to spook the prey.

...Except it wasn't prey.

It was another lionness. One she hadn't seen before.

Rogues wouldn't be able to wander this far into the lands without being spotted, which meant only one thing. She was a new capture, or new in the few days that Mzu had been stuck in the den for. See, whenever Faiz pulled one of his tricks, she missed out on all the gossip! Blinking in surprise, she stood, not bothering to think whether she'd frighten the other, stalking lionness. Mzuka frowned, glancing her over - she was pretty, but nothing special. She pondered who might have made the catch.

"Who're you?" she blurted, almost a little rudely.
