My comment to this whole Tidus bashing thing is that Tidus seems to have as his symbol the same thing as his dad. It could be a family crest, but I think he'd have chosen his own... I mean, it's a stylized "J"! It's not as blatant (because it's not as large!) when it's on Tidus' pants and necklace, but on Jecht's chest and the burning flowers you can really see the J symbol. Makes me laugh, Tidus running around with a J on his pants.
