Jenova4 O.T.L. Well, this is interesting. Although the items are still in the Cash Shop, they've changed the descriptions to not be so suggestive. (The Fondue went from "Let me cover your strawberries in my white chocolate" to "Celebrate Easter with this chocolately friend".) And, boy, are the immature SFers up in arms about that one. (To which I say: GOOD. Gaia did something YOU don't like, and you're being even bigger whiners than the people against whom you constantly defend Gaia. Serves you right.) I just find it funny that people take that as being explicitly pornographic and not any of the GLOL mistress item descriptions. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't really see that those are supposed to be dirty. Violent, yes, but not dirty. (But, as far as being violent, they're not as violent as the dirty items are dirty.) (Er... if that sentence makes any sense...)

The description from the G-LOL skirt is "When this skirt came down, so did he."
I'm not even sure what that's supposed to mean, but all the other ones are violent and not sexual.

Oh irony, I love you so. While I'm not personally affected by this, though, I have to agree that they have a right to be angry. Gaia should have thought that through fully before releasing the items. And you can change the descriptions all you want; they're still perverted, raunchy items. I didn't even read the descriptions and I felt that way.
And really, changing the product after people buy it? Come on, Gaia, you can't do that.

And then the Box of Innocent Items was released. Where people are raising the same s**t-fit that they did with the slutbunnies.
Except even more pro-Gaians are all "They aren't breaking the PG-13 rules".
Honestly, I don't think that's the point, but then, what do I know. neutral

Quote: Narumi Misuhara However as for the Decided Issues (and yes the admins and mods are working on a new, renamed, version). No we are not required to follow this, it was created so that users would stop making repeat posts about those issues, not to limit Gaia on what we would/could ever do. Proof of this is the fact that at the bottom of nearly every one it says threads/posts bla bla about this issue will be recycled. from Delete the Decided Issues. Terms of Service - Individual Features and Services When using Gaia Online, you will be subject to any additional posted guidelines or rules including but not limited to Gaia's Rules & Guidelines and the "Announcements" or "Stickies" found in the Gaia Online Forums, which are applicable to specific activities and features which may be posted from time to time (collectively referred to herein as the "Guidelines"). All such Guidelines are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms. Rules and Guidelines Respect the TOS: Encouraging or endorsing violations of our Terms of Service, or illicit activities in general, is not permitted. Failure to comply with these rules and guidelines may result in disciplinary action and ultimately the termination of your Gaia Online account. Your use of GAIA Online is also subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Terms of Service.
Basically, "Users must follow the rules of the Decided Issues, but staff and mods are 'special' so we Staff Members and Mods don't have to." Lolwut? Don't get how that works? Neither do I. I say we spam the SF with issues discussed in the Decided Issues since those Issues aren't decided and it's looking like staff never had any intention of following those guidelines to begin with . ninja
