human logic generaly leads us to believe that one sin is worse then another (IE the whole hentai/live action porn) but in god's eye stealing a candybar is equivalent to killing someone. in short hentai and porn are equal in badness

What do you base this on? What leads you to believe stealing a candy bar is as bad as killing someone?

(I agree with you that hentai is just as bad as porn, seeing as hentai is just animated or illustrated porn, it makes no difference).

It depends, if it gets you aroused and makes you lustful then yes, it's a sin.

Hentai and pornography are actually against what the Word of God teaches. Let's first look at Adam and Eve. Yes, they were naked at the beginning. But why did they covered themselves up when they sinned against God? Because it is revealing their sin.

And all through the Old Testament, revealing the flesh is a sign of their sin. It is revealing their shame. Now here is a question, would God want you to look at someone else's shame? It is a shame unto them that reveals the flesh, but it is a shame unto us to watch someone else's sin or sinning.

In Psalms, David said, "I will not set any evil thing before my eyes." Now I guarantee you on this, pornography will influence us in ways we do not expect. And there is no one alive that can contain his/her emotions when we look upon someone's flesh, because it is our sinful and human nature to lust upon.

If we think, and I cannot stress this out enough, that we are strong enough to resist the temptation to fall into deep lust while watching porn, shame unto us. That is actually testing God. And in the Bible, it says that "Do not test thy Lord, thy God." Which was the words of Jesus.

Now, is Hentai as bad as porn? It is. Because sin is still sin. In the judgment day, all sin is equal to God. They have the same fate as the rest. "For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23a.

In fact it's even recommened for artists to look at nude images of women or men in order to understand how to get the physiology down on paper. When an artist draws a character, the base is always naked. So would drawing naked bases be a sin? neutral

Also as I stated previously, the depictions of Adam and Eve during the Renaissance could be considered porn to many. So would looking at those depictions although they occur in the Bible, be a sin?

I can understand artists studying n***s to better their drawing/painting skills (understanding how the body would appear under the clothes). Many professionals explore the human body to better their field. As for drawing a "naked" base, most artist don't go into explicit details with their base.

I'd say the sin takes place when there is sexual desire placed on that image. For example, when I was young I'd ogle the pages of a Victoria Secret catalog yet at the same age I could look at some famous nude Renaissance paintings and not ogle them.

Another aspect of it is the artist's intent. Was it draw/painted/photographed to show the human body's natural beauty or is it for stimulating erotic pleasure? the vast majority of Porn/Hentai isn't respectful art but something to appealing to your erotic desires.
