Jacques | Basic Info | Personality | Youth | Juvenile | Adolescent | Adult | Timeline | Photo Album | Relations/Family Tree | Group Info | Items |
Jacques is a very quiet individual. He doesn't speak much about anything and even when he does speak, his words are usually soft and few. He utterly refuses to talk about his life prior to Aila rescuing him, to the point where if he's pressed about it, he will run way from the confrontation. Despite this reaction, he is very protective of his friends, in his own way. He's a quick fighter, preferring to dart in to make a single attack and then dart out again, rather than remaining in the middle of a fight, though he will repeat this process for as long as he needs to.
He is very sensitive about his scarf and refuses to take it off. He becomes defensive is someone tries to take it. At some point in his life prior to coming to the Chokwe, he developed a habit of sucking on the fabric near his mouth.
He has a strong bond with Aila, mostly following her around as a silent companion and confidant.
Alignment: Neutral Good

Jacques| Basic Info | Personality | Youth | Juvenile | Adolescent | Adult | Timeline | Photo Album | Relations/Family Tree | Group Info | Items |Jacques doesn't remember much of his past. Whether he blocked out a traumatic experience or if he hurt his head or something is unknown. He must have had parents at one point, but he doesn't know who they are or what they had been like. The first memory he has is waking up in a den that had been dug out under a large log. All he had was himself and the cloth around his head and neck. His first instinct was to stay there, but after a while of waiting for someone he couldn't remember to come back to him, he left the den to wander about. He tried hunting and managed to scrounge up and scavenge enough to survive for a while, though he became very weak and thin. One evening, he was following the sent of a kill, only to find a group of wild dogs already feeding on it. Rather than just chasing him off, part of the pack decided he would make a nice addition to the meal as well. They chased him to a river where he just barely escaped death at the jaws of the crocodiles that were lurking there, all because a cheeton female reached out and caught him as he was slipping. At that moment, Aila became his best friend. She took him back to her home, to her family, and he decided to stick by her for as long as she wanted him to.
