Something seems to stirs on the ceiling. With a soundless screech, it drops down from above to land on you!

OK OW.
That was just... Ugh, that was unfair. Theta-1 did her best to roll the thing off her and then scrambled up and away, shakily taking out her gun. Unfortunately she HAD jinxed herself as she could barely get the rubber bullets in and when she did, her trigger didn't seem to be working.
"DAMN IT!" She screamed, shaking the gun helplessly. "I put them in wrong."

"Oh! Theta-7! Hey! So nice to see you here!" It was actually kind of nice to have someone in this craziness with her that she sort of knew. A little... Not at all. She knew his name. That was a good start! "So who's Delta-7 and who's Delta-3?" She inquired, tensing her body in preparation for the next hit from this shadow-thing.

"Eh? Oh . . . yeah, doin' alright. Just a knuckle smack, nothin' bad," Deli replied, rubbing his hand down with a wince. Could have been worse.

He was a bit slow on the uptake to realize that they were at long last united with the missing Theta who, poor dear, seemed a bit frazzled. "So far? Good enough for me!" Deli told her with a grin in his voice. "If I'm not overwhelmed myself, I'll lend a hand. Or a nunchuk. Or a fist! Delta Three's the technical name, miss, but Deli works just fine!"

Though the conversation the other two were having got him thinking. Shadows that creeped, fog that hid everything from sight, isolation on an island, and a hooded man that looked way too much like The Grim Reaper.

"Guys," Deli stated with a gulp, "I think we're in a real horror movie."

"Just don't whack yourself again with the nunchuck, Deli," Delta Seven called back. Deli and Theta-One were out of sight, but not out of earshot. It sounded quiet back there, apart from a muted gunshut. Rubber bullets just couldn't make the noise a real gun did. It was rather a pity that none of them had bandages. Or perhaps a good thing, considering D7 might have taken it upon himself to 'liberate' them if they'd belonged to Theta-One, who didn't have even the brief bond the guys did after their wait together.

"If this is a horror movie, my paycheck better be damn good!" he complained, wondering if the Reaper was still listening in. Just in case, he added, "And not involve permanent death in any fashion."

Jesus! Not even a handful of seconds later and another one was jumping him - this one a little meaner looking than his last opponent. Deli wasn't keen on using the knuckle-bruising nunchuks too soon, and last time he used his punch it had been (slightly) effective - too bad this wasn't the case now.

Deli's fist swung way over the shadow's head, and he staggered a tad with the momentum. "Only things dyin' are gonna be these!" he shouted, turning his failed swing into a fist bump into the air - because he totally meant to do that!

Fiesty lil' thing it was! "No! Bad living shadow-ish thing from the black lagoon! BAD." He swiped at the clawing creature before much could be done to his leg hope to at least pry it off. Imagining it going through his armor to his bare flesh and . . . Ohgodstopthinkinglikethat.

"Yeah, great to see you too, Theta One," he said vaguely with a small chuckle to the voice somewhere behind him. If it was a bit more peaceful and not so much fighting for one's life he might have been more enthused. It was hard to be enthused as he wandered a bit of the darkness with Davii.

Theta Seven paused a bit as he gazed about in the darkness, "So if we're in a real horror movie..." He didn't finish his thought as it was about that time that Deli was attacked by something and announced that the only thing that was going to die was the monster, "You get 'em!" he cheered to those still fighting. Right now he was free of conflict.

He laughed with some amusement at Davii's words, "I don't think they give a damn about what -we- want..." Theta Seven shrugged his shoulders. If the powers that be did care group wouldn't be in this 'movie' no one would be...

"Oh God!" Living shadows? You'd think the hell horse was enough to tell Deli that things weren't natural her, but . . . Agh!

Shadows weren't supposed to hurt!

"B-Back off!" he yelped as he swung his nunchuks. Thankfully they didn't bounce off too hard his hand before flying towards the creature.

"You touch these guys yet?" he called to them as the creature leapt at him once more - and once more his fist missed. "Might look like shadows, but they're totally solid!"

Deli must smell tasty to monsters or something. The other Delta had no luck - finishing off one monster to straight away be attacked by another, from the sounds of things.

"Kill 'em good," he yelled back some encouragement to the two still fighting.

He eyed the area that he and Thev were currently in. "You think the monsters are only swarming back there? Or are we just lucky?"

He had to agree with Thev's take on the likelihood of anyone listening to their wishes. Even if they'd initially agreed, apparently taking this test meant forfeiting all rights to any human rights whatsoever. "You think we really did sign up for this?" he asked. "And we just don't remember?"

There were a lot of things they didn't remember here. It wouldn't be hard to slip in one extra 'fact' and present it as truth.

It was totally solid, but it was also rather quick on its feet. While its last attack had missed, it was soon closing in for another strike, eyes glowing eerily. Unfortunately, it missed again, flying past its target harmlessly.

Maybe it was all the darkness, but Deli was not liking how he went from one-hit killing a shadow to missing every other time almost. SERIOUSLY. It was starting to irritate even the patient Delta that things were like a flying circus here - all moves and no substance. Never really liked circuses much, though.

"Get over here, you!" he growled, trying to swat at the creature as it sailed over his head but missing abysmally. If the next strike he tried didn't work, he was not above asking for some help . . .
