Hello I am New smile

I love the Original Trilogy, saw it first. It just has a classic feel to it.

As for talking about thoughts of the Remastering above, I like the Remastered I am just glad I have the Original Release as well.

As for Remastering the Yavin scene, yes that needs fixed for continuative purposes, but for the love of god fix the lightsabers.

If only in one scene at the most, when Luke is training on the Falcon his saber looks greenish blue..is it just me? xd

Gooddé da lodia!
If they so much as TOUCH the originals, someone is going to get a bullet right between their eyes.

Wow wait a sec, put the gun away. lol

The current box set I have has both versions, and let me tell you something the Remastered does have some errors I am not saying its perfect.

They will always be tweaking it, so as long as they give us the originals with each new tweak I'm happy.

But you can't deny that freakin' lightsaber is blue-ish green! mrgreen

Not bad for a "Just for fun" Fix, Although it looks alright, bits and pieces don't seem right, I can't put my foot on it. neutral

The sabers look great though. smile

You watch the whole thing or just the trailer? The changes to the cantina scene (The aliens no longer look like masks thanks to just some slight tweaks to their motion) alone make it worth downloading. He's working on Empire Strikes Back Right now...

Trailer With notes detailing the tweaks in the Trailer.
Take note of the fact that the Star Destroyer is firing on the escaping transport and her escorts in this trailer.

EDIT: Wow found the whole Ion Cannon sequence... Sweet.

I just stumbled upon those myself a couple weeks ago. I still want someone to fix Luke's saber in Obi-Wan's hut in the first one though. It looks flat whenever he swings it in front of the camera.

That's fixed in Star Wars: Revisited. If you can find a complete copy online I'd suggest you download it. It's probably the best version of A New Hope available.

There are only a couple problems with it... The one that springs to my mind is the arrival of the TIEs in the Battle of Yavin. It doesn't seem to fit that well.

I watched my uncle's copy of it.

My one problem was him editing the aqualish injury. Doesn't aqualish flesh not cauterize?

Hello all! I'm new to the guild so I would like to start out with my puppie, Allie, who is a year old Shih Tzu, who looks just like an Ewok! If you recall the scene where C3PO is being carried into the Ewok village, you see a lone white one in the background. Looks exactly like my dog! She loves to get under my dad's feet and he never fails to threaten to kick her furry butt back to Endor! :3

This Star Wars Revisited is amazing. It's everything good about the OT with everything else it needed.

Eh... I'm a bit baised against altering A New Hope. Things like the altering of the score seems to be just as much like what Lucas was doing, trying to synergize the series together. It's like tossing in a young han solo and lando in RotS and passing it off.

I'm a stickler though.
