Whiralon - The Whirlpool City

[Lord of the Aesir]

"You know, even though fish fresh, does not good fish it make" a deep voiced tall light blue man says from the next table over. He wears simple clothes and no shirt. A golden amulet hangs around his neck. His eyes big and blue, his hair a darker blue.

Lance, startled turns to the stranger and looks him over deciding what kind of threat he could be.

Ilana watched in confusion, not quite sure who he is.

The blue man sensed confusion from one and hostility from the other. He talks to them apologetically. "I am sorry. Spend no attention to me. Go back to food."

The man's grammar is terrible... "Hi, i'm Ilana," Ilana said with a smile.  

[Lord of the Aesir]

The man did not expect a response back and was delighted to talk. He smiles and responds. "Ah, hello Ilana. I am Ka-Hogen. I am fisherman near here." He looks over to the boy who is still glaring. Ka-Hogen feels nervous.

Lance continues to watch Ka-Hogen. He's tall, but thin. And he doesn't seem to have any weapons on him. He talks really strange though...as though this language is not his first... Lance thinks this to himself. "Name's Lance." Lance says and returns to his menu. Reef crawler... Lance thinks fondly as he sees it on the page.

Ka-Hogen smiles at Lance. "Good to meet you Lance."

"Do you work here?" Ilana asked Ka-Hogen.  

[Lord of the Aesir]

"Ah, no. I sell them fish I catch. They pay nice, but they terrible cook them." Ka-Hogen says, his face wrinkling into a sort of frown. "I cook better, but they give me...dis-count, which means less money I spend here."  

[Thorgrim the Wise]

Lance keeps an ear open but does not turn to look at Ka-Hogen while he speaks.

"Oh," Ilana said, looking at Lance, "What's wrong?"

Lance looks up at Ilana surprised. "Hmm? No, nothings wrong. Why do you ask?"

"Well, you're quiet. You're not normally quiet," Ilana said.

Lance shruggs. "I must be so hungry I can't think." Lance taps his fingers on the table in a distinct pattern that only Ilana would notice. It was their signal that meant, I'm watching that person.
