The outsider (Modern / Forest)

Kire was planning a strategy for the attack. Malcome of course sat along outside feeling guilty for not protecting Jade.  

[Duchess Marie]

One of the scouts approached Kire, "should...we be doing something? Our tribe does not usually war. Is there a way we should prepare?"  

[Reciter5613]

"You guys don't have to. We have it covered here."  

[Duchess Marie]

"We are not leaving our friends and family. We want to help," the scout protested.  

[Reciter5613]

"Well.....do your tribe have any talents we can use?"  

[Duchess Marie]

"We have the desire to protect our own and the courage to rescue them."  

[Reciter5613]

"Well I guess we can't talk you out of it."  

[Duchess Marie]

The scout nodded, "we will always stand with our tribe."  

[Reciter5613]

Meanwhile in the First One camp, they were torturing the captured soldiers as well as trying to convert the others to their side.  

[Duchess Marie]

Jade was trying to cut the rope around her wrists on a rock. If she could only get free, she could go for help.  

[Reciter5613]

Then a First one came up to Jade. It looked like demonic centaur. All purple with red eyes, Spikes on it's body and breath coming out as purple vapor. He then looked at Jade in the face smiling.  

[Duchess Marie]

Jade stopped messing with the rock and tried to look unafraid. "What do you want?"  

[Reciter5613]

"Your obedience. We offer a place to our most loyal followers. The rest either die or become slaves. Labor or....." He laughs a bit.  

[Duchess Marie]

She looked him straight in the face, "I will never follow you. Go ahead and kill me."  

[Reciter5613]

"Tell me. Is there something that troubles you? I hear that the Blackhooves and their troops have come to take over your land. They decided to forget that little reserve stuff and just take it all."
