Wufei followed Sally, holding the briefcases. Timing was critical. He had to be able to get away to meet Quatre. If they terrorists thought anything was suspicious about Duo... He mentally shook the thoughts away. He had to be focused.

Quatre bit his lip and resisted the urge to pace. "Trowa, how are things up there?" He asked quietly into his comm.  

[Duo Shinigami Maxwell]

Duo spotted the two of them entering from his spot in the background. He waited for a moment until he was sure he had a clear shot.

"They're just here to trick us!" he yelled suddenly, drawing the attention to himself so Wufei could start running. He burst out of the shadows and took aim at Sally.

"What are you doing?" the leader yelled at him.

"They're not gonna give us the real money!" Duo shouted, making eye contact with Sally to make sure she was ready for it. Then, he fired.

Quickly and quietly, Wufei put down the cases and sprinted out of the room while everyone's attention was on Duo.

Quatre was pacing now. He was worried about the others. He wanted to know what was going on. That everyone was safe.

"everything is right on where it should be." but then he saw a few coming up behind duo. "Duo, watch your back 3 coming with autos." Trowa's eyes were shifted back and forth ready to go in if needed to be.

Mia checked her watch. Not much time. She hurried down the stairs, managing to avoid any of the guards in the estate. She knew Une had kept it up for Mariemeia the girl was living with her. However, staff was minimal in the Khushrenada estate right now, as there wasn't anyone there full time.

The basement library. She went in, closing the door behind her, and removed a key card from her pocket. Crossing the room quickly, she slipped it into a slot on the base of a lion head bust.

The two story room slowly began to reveal its secret.

Sally tried to let herself go limp when Duo shot her. They may have been blanks, but they still hurt! She laid there, trying not to move, hoping Wufei had gotten away.

"Are you crazy?" one of the guards snapped, grabbing Duo's arm sharply. The others had come up behind him to surround him, grabbing the visible gun, which only had blanks it in anyway.

A strangely familiar blonde man who had been speaking in near silent tones to the leader looked over at Duo carefully. He moved towards him, studying him for a moment.

"Remove the hat, glasses, and bandana," he demanded in a familiar voice. "I want to see his face."

"Someone check out the girl," another said.

"She's dead... who cares?"

"Don't be so sure, damn it!"

Duo flinched as the first terrorist grabbed him. Trowa's warning didn't go unheard, either, as he fought to turn and look them over.

That's when he heard the other voice.

"Remove the hat, glasses, and bandana," it said. "I want to see his face."

Duo froze for a second. Was that...?

But already they were pulling at his hat and 'disguise'. He inwardly cursed as they caught his arms to prevent him from stopping them. He stared at himself reflected in the mirrored sunglasses in front him.

Was that...? Zechs...? Duo didn't dare say anything... not yet.

Quatre tensed when he heard someone coming towards him. He reached for the weapon he had, just incase.

"Winner, it's me." Wufei said emerging into Quatre's line of sight.

Relaxing Quatre put his hand over his heart. "Don't do that, I thought you where one of them."

Wufei just smirked at Quatre.

The man stared directly into the shooter's eyes. He knew him. "Yes..." he said, smirking slightly behind the bandana that covered the lower half of his face.

Sally nearly shivered. The suspense of laying there, trying to look dead, it was bugging the daylights out of her. She had heard them. Were they going to recognize Duo?

"Hey... isn't this one of those Gundam pilots from the war?" one of the terrorists asked. "I mean... I think I remember seein' him before."

The computer where Trowa was at was now empty. Quietly running down the halls he burst into a room and started jacking with the main frame sending all the alarms haywire scattering most of the terrorist. Quatre was right in thinking getting worked up was bad but unlike the blonde boy Trowa always tries to think of every angle that could happen. Finally after screwing with the computers he started working on some more distractions for duo that won't have a neon sign saying GUNDAM PILOTS ARE RIGHT HERE.

"s**t!" Duo let his legs go limp, suddenly throwing all his weight on the arms of the two guards holding him. They stumbled, their grips loosening slightly in surprise. That was just what Duo needed. He pulled back, wrenching his arms free. Then, he took a swing at the blonde man's head.

"Trowa! Trowa! What's happening!?" Quatre demanded, when he got no response right away, he started to get worried and frustrated. "Damn it Trowa! What's happening?!"

Wufei stared at the blonde. He never swore unless the situation was horrible or he had lost his temper. "Quatre..?"

The man moved backwards, trying to avoid the punch, but Duo managed to knock his sunglasses off. Familar piercing blue eyes stared into violet.

"Quatre shut up. 'Calm down, getting yourself worked up won't be good for the mission.'" Throwing Quatre's words calmly back at him. Trowa was loosing his patience with the blonde boy, FAST. "Why do you always demand things from me." taking out his com and pocketing it his green eye's flicker back and forth from screen to screen. Truth be told the blonde pilot was distracting him from his work.

Quatre flince at Trowa's words and then sighed in frustration. He was so worried about Duo, and Trowa wasn't helping any. "I'm sorry..." he said, hoping Trowa heard him.

"Winner?" Wufei raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing, let's continue with our mission." Quatre replied.

"Winner..."

"It's Trowa..."

Tentatively Wufei squeezed Quatre's shoulder. "You can apologize later. I'm sure Barton realizes you're worried and stressed out."

Quatre nodded. "But for now, the mission."  

[Duo Shinigami Maxwell]

Duo narrowed his eyes as he recognized the nail blue glare before him. He'd seen it enough through war intelligence and then during the Barton Foundation's last uprising.

Nobody else seemed worried about who he might be now. The distraction had been enough. Sally was forgotten, and she had gone in the commotion. But seeing who the mysterious man was had thrown Duo off, letting him get caught again. That didn't really matter in the long run, since that was part of his job. He just hoped they were going to toss him in with the hostages. If not, it was going to take him longer to get to them.

"It can't be him... he had long hair," one of the guards holding him pointed out. He reached up to grab at Duo's hair and see if that well-known braid was tucked away.

Duo yanked his arm from him hard, bringing his elbow up into the man's chin with a painful sounding crack.

"Woah woah woah!"

"Just get him out of here!" the leader snapped at them. "Both of those Preventers are missing now... FIND THEM!"

Duo let himself get dragged off.
