Sacros indeed did not sense the energy coming straight at him, and would have been cleaved in two twain, if he had not been attuned to and searching for the energy signals, as he had been since early on in the fight. As soon as he saw the bullet heading towards him he had moved position, whilst remained chanting in demonic. The sky above the bard now was as black as the night, it was as though an infant had cut a circle in the sky, the shaky lines determining the edge of the circle always changing.

The circle began to produce its own noise however, deep moans and hissings. The circle was answering to Sacros as he brought it here. It was nearly complete, and Sacros watched as the circle began to fluctuate, its flat surface bulging and growing. He did all he could to contain it, but soon it would reak havoc on the ground below. Sacros did no more than to keep his defensive spell at mind for something a little more threatening than a holy bubble. That last attack had bothered him, but it had also angered him, and this was a very unwise thing for anyone to do, it may push him to certain extremes...

"Our father...."

Christoph now began something new- his mind had been on church type songs for a while, so he decided that why not use the most compelling holy doctrine of the world? This chant pretty much increased the rate of construction and strength of the aura about him by ten fold.

"Thy WILL be DONE...."

Christoph continued, this time with feeling, as he now began strafing quickly to the side, which would bring him far enough away from the focus of the blast so that he wouldn't be taking the brunt of it. Sweat was trickling down his face now, with the sheer focus of the magic surrounding. At this point, Christoph's author thinks that Sacros's attack wouldn't pierce the aura about Christoph, what with the power Christoph was putting into it.

"FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE GLORY FOREVER!!!!"

Christoph finished his chant with an exlamation that nearly surpassed the volume of his Banshee Shriek. The aura violently flared and tripled in size before it swelled into an overhead shield above Christoph that seemed to pop, sending out about......54 of the missiles like earlier except with 3x the strength and the speed in each bullet- all at Sacros from varying angles.

Since Sacros was busy trying to contain his own attack, he was going to be exorcised on so many levels in so many ways he pretty much just wouldn't exist. Anywhere. Almost instant eradication.

Christoph was tired, and that was an understatement. However, his opponent was rightly f***ed.

((The author would like to kindly point out that you never actually fired your attack.))

((This is fine with me, It just means you raped the beach *shrugs*))

Sacros fired his defensive spell, and was instantly brought into the cold depths of the void. The missiles would indeed hit where he was, causing a huge explosion. Sacros however wouldn't be there, he would be sitting safely in the void, his simple spell of teleportation would have brought him to safety. Sacros had infact got out of the area as soon as there was a much fluctuation in holy energy, it didn't take a genius to tell that something protective didn't need that much energy, not at all.

The rift that Sacros had been trying to contain was unleashed when he was forced to flee. The pure power of darkness slammed against the beach. The circle was more like a shotgun blast when it went off. Extending in many directions like a funnel. It devastated the beach below it, tearing holes in the sand for many feet down, each about two foot in diameter. It would be sheer luck if the bard was struck or not, this was pure chaos as the attack had no direction.

Sacros sat in the void for over a minute, letting the darkness flow over him, recover any wounds he might have suffered, and refill him with energy. He then brought himself back into the realm they had been fighting upon, on the ground, about ten feet away from the bard. When he appeared he had his two plain coloured swords out. He also had a defensive spell prepared that he had created in the void. He looked at his opponent and smiled. "You look a little tired, are you sure you don't want to preserve your dignity and your life by giving up? Or shall I take your pitiful form and scatter it to the winds..." his mind constantly watching the energy around him. He wasn't too worried about his opponent, but some of the darkness from earlier might still be active...

((I would like to state I WAS monitering energy levels from before, and any idiot would know when a barrier spell was showing more than enough aggressive energy to be a worry. I was not contained by a barrier either, I was just simply not there when the attack hit.))

((@your first ooc comment: That makes no sense...
@your second ooc comment: Ok, you don't have to automatically assume I'm going to argue...))

Christoph didn't even wait to see if his attack hit; he heard an explosion, but that was about it. What he focused on now was Sacros's attack, which was finally being unleashed. He quickly with a few words channeled the rest of the holy energy he maintained into his blades and brought them above him, crossed in an "X". Since the attack was pretty much spreadfire, only one strand of the attack would hit Christoph.

However, since it came from above, the tip of this strand would hit the point at which the two rapiers crossed and the combined holy magic of the first layered aura on Christoph and the multi-layered holy magic on his rapiers themselves would be enough to stave off this single strand.

At this point, Christoph would turn and see Sacros, on the ground again, with the swords and whatnot. Christoph adopted a defensive stance with his left rapier crossing his body in a diagonal with his right rapier back, up, and parallel to the ground in a fierce jabbing stance.

"Do you do melee? Or shall we dance more?"

Sure, Christoph was tired. But he wasn't out.

Sacros smiled as his opponent answered his question, he looked at the bard and with a smile across his face he answered the weakened warrior. "I always prefer that answer, it gives me so much more enjoyment." Sacros had no plans to stay within the parimeters of a fair fight, this insulent demon had bothered him long enough to became a nuisance.

As Sacros placed one of his swords behind the other for defence, he began to spin the other. He was making a slow movement on purpose, he stepped forward and swiped lightly at his opponent's leg with his sword. His smile was spreading all the time now. He felt a pang of guilt for his opponent. He was already weakened, yet he continued to fight. Why was this, why did he continue to try? It made no sense to Sacros' cold calculating mind. All he saw was a fool with two swords.

((Mmm your turn))

((I'm just going to ignore the fact that you covered ten feet instantly and without, well, actually doing it.))

Christoph stepped back, completely avoiding the attack.

"Er, k."

((If it makes you happy i'll go edit i was walking and talking, i thought that would have been implied))

Sacros watched as his opponent dodged, and brought the swiping sword up in a semi-circular arc and brought it down again, at the same time shuffling forward enough to strike at the bard's shoulder. He kept his other sword close for defence if need be, as well as his defensive spell should the unexpected arise. In this close combat it would be easy to keep his opponent silent, besides, Sacros doubted any competant spell could come out of his mouth at his energy levels...

((Nah, that's alright.))

Christoph didn't even do anything to block this attack. He did, however, counter it.

The sword Sacros used would fall squarely on Christoph's pauldron and either be deflected away(to the outside) or just flat out embed itself in the armor, to be retrieved with force. Christoph, taking full advantage of this mistake, flicked his left rapier up and out, catching Sacros's sword arm right above the elbow, severing it. The flick of the rapier was quick enough to give Sacros little to no reaction time. (The flick is begun just before the sword actually embeds itself, so by the time it would hit, the sword arm would be locked/connecting with the pauldron.)

With about a half a second's hesitation, the right rapier would issue forth and plunge deep into Sacros's solar plex. Put up a defense? One would think Sacros would be preoccupied with the pain of losing a limb.

Sacros saw the movement as it came towards him. His mind saw the area of spaces the sword would occupy before it hit his flesh, and he had little time to react. What his opponent didn't know was by letting Sacros get close enough with his sword, bolts of electricity would flash off the sword and strike his opponent, not only shocking him, but paralysing him so long as the sword was in contact.

As the rapier came up Sacros released the sword and brought his hand back quickly, loosing only two fingers to the blade. Pain seared through his hand as he retracted, but he bit his grip and brought his dark blade up to parry the attack on his solar plexus, moving backwards a few steps, and pushing his opponent's sword out of the way. He stepped back fast for a few paces, letting his wings unfurl at the same time. He immediatly began to blow buffets of sand at his opponent in an attempt to blind him temporarily, whilst constantly watching the energy flowing over his blades.

He regretted losing his electrical sword, it wasn't so much that he was down a sword, it was the fact that he now had to maintain the electrical current at his opponent from mental link alone, rather than relying on the sword to do all the work, but atleast it would do more harm to his opponent. He would get satisfaction out of watching the sword which was now stuck in his opponent's pauldron pour electricity directly onto his opponent's face. He'd like to see the little s**t try to move with that much electricity running through him.

As his wings blew sand in the direction of his opponent he opened his hand which now missed two fingers, and began to concentrate on the hand slightly. Dark smoke poured from the wound , forming two strands, before solidifying into fingers. Something as aesthetic as a finger would not be hard to reproduce. With his new hand he drew his green blade, and whilst maintaining the sand storm and electrical current, he watched and waited...

Christoph had layered too many defense to even be affected by either attack. The author is also fairly certain that diamond is not a suitable conductor of electricity, if not an insulator. Even without that extra tidbit, Christoph's layers of harmonic defenses would protect him from most the elements now.

Sacros was stuck with only melee now, and his skill seemed to lack in this department....

((This next part occurs as you're stepping back.))

Christoph quickly turned his wrist and pulled his arm back to bring his deflected sword back into another jabbing position and his left rapier completed its rotation to bring itself back into the same position. Christoph immediately pursued his opponent, giving him little time to even make a single gust with his wings. Christoph wasn't about to let Sacros regrow his missing digits and be able to competently wield another sword he had on him.

So, Christoph thundered in again, jabbing first this time at the solar plex, again. Simultaneously, his left rapier lowered a little bit, becoming more horizontal.

((Watch how much you do in a post...just remember that one's opponent will almost never sit and watch as his opponent tries to recuperate.))

As his opponent thrust at Sacros he activated his defensive spell, and once again moved on the playing field. He looked at his opponent from fifty foot away, behind him and sighed. During the void he had let his energy rebuild again, along with a couple of extra digits. He watched as the sword which was arching electricity towards his opponents face seemed to do nothing. Although this would be the case now, slowly it would drain his opponent's mana unless he could rid himself of the electric bolts.

((My electrical attack is not travelling along you, it is arching towards your face...))

He yelled down the beach at his opponent from behind "Are you sure you wouldn't rather give up? I'm giving you one chance and one chance only, I'd hate to have something happen to your pretty little body." Sacros meanwhile brought the green tinted sword towards his arm, and pressed the blade lightly against it. He was waiting for a noise, or a movement. If his opponent just answered Sacros would leave his sword where it was. If Christoph made any movement for Sacros, he would cut his arm down, and begin a series of events that would surely end the fight...

((You may want to give up at this point, with your tired state and dwindling energy shield continuing at this point would be a bad idea, just a warning to you...))

Christoph sighed at his opponent's telelportation- for possibly the sixth time- and turned around, already fully aware of where he was. Christoph looked a good deal agitated now, the look replacing the former tired one. The Incubus was using this downtime to recuperate himself- not enough to completely to "decently" restore himself or anything like that: just enough to let him go on for a good deal bit longer. Christoph was starting to cherish his opponent's little speeches.

"Dude, I don't swing that way."

Christoph grinned and slowly pulled up his rapiers into the exact same stance as earlier. So much for originality...

((Christoph has three layers of defense on him, I believe. A general damage absorbing/reducing one, an elemental barrier, and a holy barrier- all spanning his entire body. It doesn't matter where it hits, it's still stifled, especially in such quantities as you're mentioning.

Also, what the hell is with all the teleportation? Does doing that a lot not drain you a pretty good bit? How can ya move in a void?))

((I warned you, now I bring out the big guns... at your level of strength I doubt sincerely you will be able to maintain your shield with the amount of damage I am about to unleash))

Sacros brought his sword down on his arm, and brought it in an arc, a few drops splashed on the sand, but most remained on the edge of the sword. Sacros felt the sharp pains running up his arm, but it didn't matter anymore. He turned the sword upside down and slammed it into the sand. He then gripped the pommel where the now glowing gem rested, and spoke in a demonic language so ancient that all scripts of it had long since been destroyed. The gem began to glow brighter as it tried to unleash the spell stored within it. The blood on the sword began to flow off, and spread. Despite what seemed a small amount, it now began to grow, spreading over the sand into runes.

As soon as the spell was started it would be impossible to stop, and now Sacros was protected within the area of the spell. The diameter of the circle he was in was roughly thirty foot, all of it would be taken up soon. He finished chanting, and brought his sword out the circle, which he was in the centre of. The sand beneath him seemed to sink, before disappearing in a hole. Sacros however remained floating, he was standing on something. Slowly Sacros began to rise above the ground, the beach tremoring under the massiveness that this creature was.

As Sacros rose the thing he was standing on became visible. It was pure black, red eyes lined the sides of its head, along with a wide toothy mouth. Its nose was hardly visible, little more than slits in the face. Its body was rippled with muscles, almost ready to burst out the leathery skin in which it was contained. It had numerous tails, all lashing over the sand behind it. The creature was completely unleashed. Sacros was standing upon its head, letting more blood flow into its skin, which it readily absorbed. The creature stood hunched on all fours at a height of one hundred foot.

As its tails moved over the sand it changed form, one stream turned into water, another turned into fire, and the third tail simply made the sand float in weightlessness. The Chaos Beast was unleashed. It roared a final time, its sound alone made Sacros wince, so much magic laced its voice it was painful at that range, yet it would protect Sacros, and listen to him for the time it existed. Sacros spoke once again in the ancient demonic tones, and from afar, a look of pure hatred could be seen in the direction of Christoph. The creature now looked at Christoph, and raised one of its lumbering front limbs, and aimed it at the bard. At the end of its claws magic started to flow to the centre of its palm, and out infront of it. It was forming a ball of energy, which it intended to use to destroy Christoph, or atleast damage his shields to the point where if he used any more energy to contain them it would destroy him...

((OOC: The teleporting is not so much moving location, its slipping back into his natural element, which requires little effort as that is what naturally beckons him. Once there, he can warp back into the real plane to any location. It could be miles away, it just happens he chose next to you.))

((GTB would hate you...XD))

Christoph took a few steps back at the beginning of this conjuration but quickly realized he had little time to react. So, he did. Slowly, and with composure only a man of skill could elicit at a time like this, he began singing the mighty Minuet, the song that actually slowed time around Christoph.

The song's effect would manifest upon the full conjuration of the beast, granting 15 feet of slowed time with Christoph as the focus of the area of effect, though excluding him.

Christoph saw this as the biggest challenge of his life, and quite literally. The adrenaline flowed in his veins and any physical fatigue in his being was either forgotten, expunged, or ignored, but mostly the first and second. A creature of such size would simply not be able to cope with the speed of Christoph at this point, and thus, Christoph seemingly blazed off in a circular fashion around the beast, angling his path inwards slowly so that he would eventually find himself at the back foot of the beast, where he would begin painfully, for the beast, scaling the monster- with his holy rapiers. Unless the beast felt like destroying his own limbs, he would have to find something to do, and the mere size of the beast would make almost any attempt futile.
