Hikari's mouth opened and closed some slowly as she was left speechless. She has never had any guy show any interest in her like this before, at least not that she knew of. Yeah Jaisyn calls her love now and then but she didn't think anything of it ever. But Aiko here, he was showing signs now of her and she wasn't sure what to do. Hearing his stutter, Hikari knows that he is feeling just embarrassed as she was at the moment. "I..... I didn't.... hate it." She lowers her head so that she isn't looking directly at him and all he can see is her hair and blush.

Jaisyn snickered slightly, taking his eyes off of his godfather for an instant. He heard rather than saw his godfather's punch whistling through the air as he focused, a subtle ripple of chakra pulsing down his legs as he moved. To his point of view, it seemed as if he'd leaped... without leaping... to materialize next to Akio and Hikari though he'd been a good two or three meters away from them. He saw his godfather pause before he spoke a single word. "Shunpō," the ANBU sighed. That's one of the Chūnin level techniques in the scroll left by my mother, Jaisyn realized. He glanced at the floor and noticed that where he'd been standing, the dust was disturbed and slightly scorched, though there was no sign of actual movement. Post Number: 20 Pouch Items -

Kei took to the streets. She was met with smiles and waves as she walked. Kei was quick to return the sentiments. It was nice to know that the people liked her. It was probably only because she had kept them safe, but whatever the reason she liked this better than before. “The apartment isn’t too far. It’s only three blocks away from here.” She explained to Tsuchi, pointing in the general direction of the building.
As they rounded the next corner, Kei frowned. There was Jaisyen standing in the middle of the street. Hikari and a new face that Kei had never seen before were standing back in the opening of Jaisyen’s family home. She looked back to Tsuchi. “It isn’t this street, but I need to speak with those three for a moment before we continue on.” Kei said with a sigh as she started towards them.
Standing almost directly behind Jaisyen, she cleared her throat loudly. Kei noticed almost instantly that something was different about Jaisyen. She wasn’t sure what it was, but it was different all the same. When he turned to face her, Kei crossed her arms sternly as she glared slightly up at him. It was hard to be intimidating when you were shorter than the other person. Under normal circumstances, this was when the presence of the sand would come to her rescue, but she didn’t want to frighten or hurt Jaisyen. Not yet, at least.
“What are you still doing here?” Kei questioned loud enough for all three to hear. “If all you are going to do is waste time, I’ll be forced to find a proper escort for Hikari.” She explained to him. She knew he wanted to go, but she needed to know he could get the job done in a timely manner. She didn’t want the boy walking around with that ring outside the village for too long. It was a target.
With a deep breath, Kei turned to the other two still standing just within the building door way. The other boy seemed to be older, but she didn’t see his headband to mark what village he came from. Though he did not appear to be an experienced ninja, that meant little to Kei. If you were old enough to hold a kunai, you were old enough to take a life. She had learned not to trust every person, but she would do her best to be kind. “Hello. My name is Keiko Haurka Yasushi, the Kazekage. Who might you be?” She questioned with a smile. “Though I do hope you were not the one that attacked my guards less than an hour ago.” She added, watching to see what he would do.

The young weapon's maker saw Keiko come up and started to panic a bit. Jaisyen and her left the Kazekage's office some time ago and were still in town. Hikari quickly got up, still red faced and flustered from the kiss, and got between Jaisyen and Keiko. "I'm sorry Kazekage-sama, but we were on our way out of town when we ran into Jaisyen's cousin Aiko here. We found him in kind of a bad state and it was my idea to stop and help him out. Please don't be mad at Jaisyen." Hikari was about six inches taller than her leader but that was eye level enough for them to see eye to eye for Keiko to see that she was being honest and kind of flustered about something. Aiko's kiss was still replaying in her mind, but then that one move Jaisyen did flashed up for a moment. "Though I'm glad that you're here. Jaisyen's powers seemed to have been acting up a bit since we left your office. He even scorched the ground earlier but keeps saying that he is perfectly fine. I just don't want him hurting himself in case we get attacked and his abilities won't act the way he wants them to."

Jaisyn rolled his eyes. "This is the very reason I made sure Okami-oba-san taught me as many different chakra control exercises as possible. To quote my mother's scrolls on my Kekkei Genkai, `upon awakening one's partner, chakra control is a must as the user's chakra will become on average two to three times denser than usual. The usual on chakra control levels are High Genin-Low Chunin when members awaken their partners for decent training in Hadō and Bakudō.`," he said wryly, shifting his shoulders. "As of now, I have no less than two Hadō and two Bakudō. I will not allow my training to cease now... if anything I'm going to push myself harder," he said simply. His hand drifted upward before he drew Kougetsui in one fluid motion, letting the Kazekage see her new form. "As far as I know, there are no other survivors of my particular branch of the Uzumaki Clan, but until I gain her initial release form... I will take few if any missions outside the village. Until that time, this one will have to do," he said quietly, his gaze shifting to Hikari. He knew she was wary of his new skills and thought that he couldn't control them, but he intended to control them through the harshest method: using them only when absolutely necessary.

Akio looked at Hikari as she ever so cleverly tried to cover more then half of a her face with her hair. Even past her purple hair he could see her blushing, and he wish now looking back on what he just did that he didn't do it at all. Not even focusing on the his surroundings he didn't notice the arrival of two woman who were appeared to be older then Hikari, Jaisyn, or himself. Remaining quiet the woman seemed to be of a higher rank as she said Hikari and Jaisyn were suppose to have left on a mission a while ago. Feeling bad as he had caused a delay to the completetion of their mission he looked down. When the older woman had directed the attention on him, Akio was quite slow on his reply but luckily Hikari spoke before him. Ah, so this lady was the Kazekage, he thought to himself. She looked older then what he had expected a Kazekage to appear as. As she kindly introduced himself to the Kazekage, he bowed his head a little in respect. Then they went on to talk about Jaisyn and his malfuctioning abilities. With the way his chakra was acting, he was a danger to Hikari and himself on this mission. He couldn't let anything hurt Hikari. Budging in after his cousin spoke, he cleared his voice. "Excuse me, Kazekage even though you don't know me, I would kindly assist my cousin here as a guide to Hikari," he said in a clear voice.

Tsuchi walked with Keiko through the streets of Sunagakure, paying little mind to the people who stopped to wave at her. To these people, Tsuchi was an outsider. Not a single one of them would remember her, surely, and if they did it would most likely not have been a pleasant memory. She'd helped in saving the lives of many villagers in Sunagakure once, but that was a feet she was sure not a single soul would remember. She had still been a child then. It had been their first mission, when the Sand was initially attacked. Her mind wandered back to the memory, recalling the scramble to find and lead all the villagers to safety. Shonen had still been alive then, but...he had run off to join the fight long before the mission was complete. Keiko had joined him shortly after, leaving Tsuchi to finish the escort mission alone. It was probably for the best though. Because of that mission she found her way to the Saru Compound, which later in life she needed that information in order to return to the compound for her training with Saru-sensei...if she came to find out that he'd killed her sensei as well, her brother, Takeshi would not be given a moment to speak on his own behalf...she would take him down.
When Keiko mentioned needing to stop and talk to someone, missing all that she'd said about the apartment while she'd been inside her head, she gave her a quiet nod and followed her towards the group. She found it a bit amusing that Keiko was smaller than all three of these young ones, but she didn't have much room to talk. She was the same height as the young man Keiko stood behind and the other two seemed to be even taller. What were they feeding these kids anymore? MiracleGro?! Tsuchi left her amusing comments in her head as she stayed a good couple feet back from them, allowing Keiko to 'do her thing' without her looming over her shoulder. Apparently, one of the boys was supposed to be escorting the female to some location unknown to Tsuchi, and yet they were still here in the village. Back in her day, an escort mission could have meant life or death for both the one she was escorting and/or herself. Back in her day...gosh, the statement in her mind alone made her feel old. Tsuchi felt so much older than she really was. She was tired and longed for peaceful rest, but there would be no such thing until she found Takeshi and killed him. Until then, she'd push through the mental fatigue and do what had to be done. These kids...they had no idea just how lucky they really were, or how unlucky they could become. Things could change faster than they could bat their pretty little eye lashes. Would they be ready for something like that? Tsuchi hadn't been, but she'd survived it all the same. She hoped this new round of youngsters had the same will power and strength that she and Keiko had when they were their age.
Tsuchi listened in silence as the group addressed Keiko on the matter at hand. She didn't have the confidence in this group that Keiko may have had, so when the red head that was not from Sunagakure asked to assist in the escort mission she scoffed. How ridiculous...Hadn't the girl just finished saying he'd been in so bad of shape that they had to halt their own mission to give him assistance? She knew Keiko would do what she thought was best, but she couldn't see the boy as being anything more than a hindrance. Perhaps Tsuchi was a bit judgmental...she did not like the idea of relying on others and believed everyone should be strong enough to protect themselves, otherwise their worth was little to nothing. Beyond that, she had very little respect or trust in anyone that was of the male gender, and to top it all off he was an outsider. Again though, Tsuchi was harsh in her judgement of people, but she believed she had good reason to be the way she was. It wasn't any of her business though, so she kept her mouth shut...for now.

Kei’s eyes shifted to Hikari as her panic and fear spiked in the slightest. It was not Kei who sensed it, but the demon within her. Kei felt him stir to the surface, grinning with a sound somewhere between a growl and a purr. It was rare that fear spiked through the air. Now that Shukaku had gotten a whiff of it, he wanted more. The fact that the fear was of her only made it more intoxicating to him. Kei took a deep breath and closed her eyes for just a small moment. In that instant she pushed Shukaku back down into his dark hole. She let out her breath and opened her eyes once again. The truth was, this was Hikari before them. She was not afraid of what harm may come to her, but more of Kei being angry with them. Shukaku had been too close to the surface. It was time for him to rest deep within her again. All of this had happened in a matter of seconds, so she was able to catch everything that Hikari said.
And now that Shukaku wasn’t clouding her mind, Kei could see the light blush on Hikari’s cheeks. There was more to this story than what Hikari was sharing, but no one was hurt so Kei wouldn’t pry deeper. Kei looked to the boy that she was assuming to be the introduced Akio. Then the boy was family to Jaisyn. He was probably not a threat, especially considering his current state. The desert was dangerous to those that were not used to it. She would assume for now that he had simply wandered into her land by mistake. A lucky mistake for him it would seem. “I am not mad, Hikari.” Kei reassured the girl with a smile. “I am concerned for your and Jaisyn’s safety. Now with what you have told me, I worry more than ever.” She added, turning towards Jaisyn. Was this the work of the demon or something deeper?
Jaisyn simply rolled his eyes to Hikari’s warnings. He was quick to explain just what was going on. Kei looked upon the sword. Not only had its form changed, but Kei could feel a new chakra signature coming from it. The sword was producing its own chakra. When Jaisyn learned to control it, he would be powerful indeed. It would easily double his chakra, and who knew what sort of power it held within itself. However, it surprised her when Jaisyn said he would no longer be taking missions outside of the village with this new progression. In other words, it was unstable even with the new abilities it had granted him. In such a state, could Kei allow him to leave? This was a basic mission, but she did not want to risk two people. The worst they should encounter were petty thieves. But…
Akio cleared his throat, drawing her attention back to him. The boy offered his assistance. The only reason Kei considered the boy’s offer was because he was family. Not all families were messed up like hers was. And yet, the boy had fallen prey to the desert. How strong could he be himself? Again, she tried to remind herself that this would not be a life or death kind of mission. An additional helping hand could be the difference between them coming home or not. “Agreed. Akio you may join their party.” She met his eyes as she spoke. She did not fully trust him, but his saving grace was that Hikari and Jaisyn did. “However, keep in mind – should you betray these two, I will hunt you down and show no mercy. I am the living desert.” Without hand signs or a single motion the sand lifted in small short bursts around her. He had made his way through the desert and barely survived; let him keep that in mind.
The sand settled back into place with her point made. “I have one final condition. Should a battle come about, do not engage. Retreat and hide. Only as a last resort should you fight.” Kei explained, meeting each set of eyes. “Is this understood?” She questioned. This was the last small thing she could do for them. The rest would be up to them.

Jaisyn nodded slightly, unconsciously shifting into a relaxed stance as he sheathed Kougetsui over his shoulder in a fluid motion. His feet were shoulder width apart while he had one hand next to his kunai pouch, lightly touching it. As for the other hand, he held it away from his body. "Understood," he said simply. He shifted his weight slightly, glancing at his godfather, who didn't move at all. He glanced Hikari's way before he spoke to Akio. "Next time you decide to head into the desert, be sure to carry a cloak and a few canteens," he said to Akio. He half turned, grabbing a dark tan cloak clasped by a snarling wildcat's face split in half. With a practiced flick of his fingers, he slid the cloak over his shoulders, the hilt of the large dao sliding through the slit over the shoulder easily. "Fortunately I have a couple of scrolls with the needed gear for this mission," he said wryly, not surprised as both mentioned scrolls came flying out as his uncle lobbed them from the shadows of the staircase into the main house. The scrolls a inch and a half in diameter and were tan with a deep greenish blue edge on both sides as well as the kanji for 'travel gear' on it.[トラベル ギア] He slid them into holsters in front of the kunai pouch on his right hip as he half turned. Even though the attention was not so directly on him, Akio could feel that the Kazekage and the woman with her did not trust him so much. It wasn't that he could read their mind but it was the facial expressions they made toward him, that he caught at the corner of his eye. Could he really blame them? Not really because it was kind of sketchy to have some stranger out of no where come and all of sudden offer his services to a village he had no alliance to what so ever. But the only reason he showed care in aiding his cousin and Hikari out was mostly because of Hikari. Why he felt this great attraction to her was beyond him but he wasn't one to question things like this he just learned to let them happened. "Don't worry Lord Kazekage, you have my trust. Akio Uzumaki would never do betray family or comrades!" he said using the word comrade to refer to Hikari.

Kei watched as Jaisyn relaxed. He was a trouble maker, and she was almost sure he would not follow her condition when the moment of battle came. Still, she was sure there was power within him. She let out her breath slowly, thankful that at least for now he would heed her warning. Her gaze turned to Akio as he spoke up. She didn’t say anything, but within she held her reservations. His words would remain to be seen. Even then, she may never fully trust him. It was something that had developed over the years. Sad, but something she could not ignore.
As Jaisyn gave Akio a better plan of action for the next time he was in the desert, Kei turned her gaze to Hikari who had been oddly quiet. She wondered what had happened to the girl. She was not physically injured, and that moment of mild panic had passed. The girl only bit her lip, waiting. What was she hiding? It probably was nothing. Yet, it bothered Kei slightly since it was unlike the normal Hikari.
Jaisyn said he had the needed gear. It made Kei smile lightly to see his uncle toss the scrolls at him, even if it seemed it was aimed at his head. That was fine with her, if he got smacked upside the head enough times he might just get some sense knocked into him. “Alright then.” Kei finally agreed. “Get going and hurry back.” She encouraged them as she crossed her arms lightly. She worried too much. The world was at peace finally.
Kei turned her attention away from the three and back to Tsuchi. The truth was, when Tsuchi succeeded the world would be a far better place. Before she had been content to allow the fallen Akuma to hide away, but now she wondered if Tsuchi’s way was the wiser choice. Any of them could pick up where Felix left off. Some, like Takeshi, could do far worse to the world. Her mind considered the mission the Mizukage had sent her. Was that the beginning of the rise of the Akuma? Was it worse? Or was someone making a very foolish mistake?
Nightshade was on the mission to Konohagakure. He, with the help of the other nations, would be able to stop this coming threat. When she returned to her office again, she would put out the reward on the capture of the former Akuma. The best way to stop a fire was to never let it start.
Kei smiled to Tsuchi. “Now, that apartment I promised you.” She told her friend, like the darker thoughts were not plaguing her mind. She glanced back to the trio once more to make sure they were on the move finally. Only then would she would lead on to the apartment for Tsuchi.

Hikari looked up at Akio when he elbowed her, giving her a big smile like nothing was wrong. She gave him a sheepish smile back as some of the blush disappeared and yet there was still enough to dust her cheeks a rosy color. "Yeah, I bet it will be," she replied back softly enough that just he heard her. Hikari took a small step closer to him before speaking again, this time where Jaisyn could hear. "Well, you guys heard her, let's get going. We do have everything that we need right?"

He clenched one hand for an instant, his hand shifting subtly for an instant as an aura of brilliant silver igniting around his fingers as he inhaled sharply, the chakra aura flickering as if alive before he clenched his hand, the aura dissipating with a humming hiss before he shifted his hand beneath his cloak, hiding whatever was in his hand.
