Balmungoftheazureskies Karn1254 It sounds like your talking about as if all the ff summons are connected? every ff game is a different world, dimension whatever maybe in ffX they were never gods and were created by the religion of yevon. Unless you are talking just about the summons through the game in general if so then I'm sorry for questioning. As well all know, there were no gods in FFX. Yevon wasn't a god, he actually lived inside Sin, creating a new one by absorbing each Final Aeon. The way Yuna stopped Sin's Respawn is by preventing Yu Yevon from absorbing her final aeon. The way she did this was no getting a final aeon in the first place. Yevon is more of a creature/tyrant, much like Chaos in FFI. Back to subject, there is no real logical way the summons are connected. They may have the same traits and names, but they all LOOK different, some dramatically, some barely.
Actually you'll probably find Yevon would come under the catagory "Self proclaimed god" or "God incarnate" since he became so powerful by ritual Sacrifice it suggests that maybe back then even Yevon had a god
