Truitt rolled his eyes at the other teachers quarreling. Suddenly he felt quite a bit more mature. They were acting more like kids than the kids in his own class today. But he didn't want to think about his class today, so he sighed and pulled out his note pad and a pen and began sketching absentmindedly.
He stopped and looked up as the Vice-Principle entered the room. He set down his pen and pad, tempted to rise from his chair in respect. But he glanced around and saw no one make a move, so he stayed in his seat, not wanting to seem like the overeager newbie. Instead he nodded to her and eyed the donuts. "Thank you, Mrs Yamamoto."

Lavender turned to look at Matthew as the sealing and buffing teacher sat beside Violet and her. Her pink lips upturning into a smile and then suppressing a small giggle as he complimented Violet and her. "Hello to you too, Matthew," She said. Her smile then faded as she glanced around the conference room, listening to the other teachers as they bickered with one another over the trivial means of furniture. To her it seemed like a pretty dumb thing to get worked up over, but she didn't voice this in fear it might cause another commotion. Her head turned toward the entrance door as the Headmaster's wife walked in with boxes of doughnuts and coffee. She smiled as Althea laid out the items onto the wooden table, allowing the teachers to help themselves. Lavender reached for a warm cup of coffee and glazed doughnut, which was one of the best breakfast combinations. "Thank you Althea," She said as she took a small bite of the doughnut and sipped the coffee, keeping her gaze at the head of the table.

The headmaster walked into the room right after Althea; in both hands were the same drink trays that his wife held. He took a good look around, noting that all of the teachers were present before leisurely walking to the head of the table. He first placed the coffee trays down onto the table and slid them further down for the other teachers to take if they so pleased. He then settled down into the black leather chair that was beside Althea, crossing one black-panted leg over another. He looked at his wife before facing forward and grabbing a cup of coffee for himself. He wanted to drink some coffee before he arrived but Althea told him it would be courteous to arrive at the conference and distribute the drinks to the others first. He took a sip of the warm, sweet coffee and then gently placed it back down on the table. "Well, good morning everyone!" He said rather cheerily although this meeting was meant to be quite serious. Isamu never liked being serious. "I would first like to say thank you for taking the time to attend this meeting and I would also like to welcome new and old teachers as well!" He smiled at them. He took another sip of the coffee.

Truitt sat up straighter when he noticed the Principle. He reached for a cup of coffee, deciding to resit the lure of the donuts for now. But his eyes stayed on The Headmaster and his wife. He sipped at his coffee and wondered what topics might be brought up. As a student, he had always had a way of knowing what was going on in the school, but now he was in a position of authority. Now he could act on what he knew. His voice and opinions would be heard. Suddenly the meeting didn't seem so tedious.

Albert smiled seeing that Althea and the headmaster Isamu finally entered the conference room, bring coffee and donuts, both of which sounded very good to him right about now after his training simulation. "You spoil us Mrs. Yamamoto, not that i'm complaining or anything." He said with a chuckle as he held out his hand and one of the cups of coffee began to float out of it's tray and into his hand before taking a sip as he turned his attention to the headmaster as he began to speak before taking his own seat about midway down the table.

Eri looked up from her magic book as the headmaster and his wife had entered the conference room. Gently, she closed the pages of the book. In that book, there were many spells ranging from basic cupid spells to ones that were forbidden. Though, it was in a language that only a cupid could read. Cupids were born with the ability to read the language, but others would only see it as gibberish. Though there was coffee and donuts distributed, Eri didn't partake of either. She wasn't particularly fond of coffee, and she wasn't hungry either. Eri had listened to the chatter of the teachers and felt that just by listening she was able to get to know them a little better. She remained silent, glancing around at the other teachers that had entered the room. Once her eyes reached the headmaster, her blue eyes remained fixed on him. There was an obvious bond of love between him and his wife, which she happy that they had found their other half. Her thoughts began to be directed at the topics they were to discuss today. Should she be worried?

Sarah let out a satisfying shy of relief as Ember almost attacked her over the table. How good it felt again to cause chaos among those who thought themselves so high. She grinned and popped the top off her coffee, it was half empty now. Luckily she could feel the presence of the principal and vice, and even smell the delicious goods they brought with them. "I meant no offense, I just thought there was a rule against animals in school." she managed to slip in the last offense before the two oh mighty rules came to join the pleasant conversation. With a quick switch of tone she smiled and snatched up a coffee then dumped it into her own sinister brew. "Oh good morning and thank you." Sarah practically purred as she replaced the lid on her cup and shook it a bit. Leaning back in her chair, she took a sip of her new coffee and looked like she had just smelled a bunch of freshly cut flowers. Hot coffee just really made her day. Literally.

❋Bryn sighed. "He won't. He has better control then most dragons do with there fire." She turned to the head master and nodded at him. Blade however quickly un-wound himself from Bryn and floated over to the coffee and doughnuts. Picking up two of each one for Bryn and one for Ember. He nodded at the headmaster as well as his wife, before going and wrapping himself once again around Bryn, handing the coffee and doughnut to her. Before tricking Ember, however still giving it to her in the end. ❋

Althea turned to look at Sarah Vextor upon hearing her comment. "There are no rules against animals at the Academy. Although, petty little quarrels are something we do not tolerate," She said calmly, then smiled at Sarah before looking at the other teachers and giving them a smile too. She turned to Albert Chaos. "It's one of my duties," She said to him in a joking manner. She turned her head to look at her husband as he entered the room and sat down in his seat. "Should we commence the conference?" She asked, although to no one in particular.

Violet turned her head towards the teachers that began speaking up. Oh great. They're all beginning to bicker because of her one comment about the Academy's furniture. She has been teaching at the Academy for a while now, and she has a great amount of respect for everything that the Academy does. That respect also includes their property. Vandalizing the Academy's property, after so much they have done for her, was reprehensible. She looked over at the woman with the black hair with white. "I agree with her," She stated in a calm voice, with a slight nod towards the direction of the woman. Someone has sense, She thought. But now, the conversation about furniture has escalated to a more violent means. Were these the new teachers this year? Well, they all seemed swell. Violet immediately turned around upon hearing the familiar soft voice of the Headmaster's wife, who was also the Vice and a teacher, Althea. She smiled at the graceful woman as she walked into the room, bearing treats for everyone. She watched as her twin reached for a cup of coffee and a glazed donut. "Good morning, Althea, Isamu," She said as the Headmaster walked in after his wife. Violet took a cup of coffee and sipped the warm caffeinated drink. She cut her eyes to the woman with the short, white hair. For someone that is teaching here, she is rather ignorant about the Academy... Violet couldn't help to think of herself. She then shook the thought away and turned her attention to Isamu and Althea. "Ready whenever you are," She said with a terse nod.

Truitt sipped his coffee quietly, watching the others with mild interest. He set his cup down and stifled a yawn. At Althea's suggestion to start the meeting, Truitt leaned back in his chair with an impatient jerk. He didn't realize his exasperated reply was out loud until it was too late and the words had already left his lips, "Yes, please!" He blinked a couple times, but refused to show embarrassment. Not now. Not in front of everyone. So instead he grabbed his pen and pretended to suddenly be very interested in twirling it between his fingers.

"They're all acting like some of my students," He commented casually. He looked towards the door when he heard Althea's soft voice. He smiled as her and Isamu entered. He nodded at them. "Morning," He said casually as he took one of the coffee cups she offered. He sat back in his chair and crossed one leg over the other. "I'm ready to go," He said with a shrug as he looked around the room.

The battle strategy teacher simply stood off near the window as the congregation of teachers had filled the room and began conversing. He was relieved when Althea and Isamu entered since that meant things would get started soon. He was unsure of how much the others knew of the threat that had plagued them recently. Did any of them know that a boy had died?, or that youkai could look like humans?. He wondered as donuts and coffee were offered by the two higher ups. Tobias was not hungry or feeling for coffee at the moment so he decided to stay where he was ad wait his turn to talk if Isamu even asked him too. Stifling a cough in the corner the man wheezed a bit before sliding the window open a bit to get a little fresh air.


Halcyon moved as people came and took their seats he paced along the tables edge and as the donuts arrived he moved inward. Grabbing one he munched on it softly as he listened his ears twitched when he heard Tobias cough but paid it no mind for now.

Lavender continued sipping her warm coffee and eating her doughnut. When the Headmaster walked in, she stopped and smiled. She liked how the Headmaster was always so cheery and joking. "Good morning!~" She replied to him in the same cheery tone. At Althea's question, Lavender nodded with a smile, agreeing with Matthew and Violet. At the sound of a voice she has not heard before, she turned her head towards the direction of it. She watched the man for a couple of seconds as he twirled the pen between his fingers. She finally looked away and sipped her coffee.

Isamu felt the ambiance was tinted with seriousness and animosity, maybe? He hoped not. He could not have the teachers mindlessly quarreling when there were bigger issues at hand. He needed the faculty and staff to all work together and get along. He glanced at his wife and then back at the teachers seated before him. He picked up his coffee cup and took a sip, simultaneously, hearing a stifled cough, and then the sound of a window opening. The headmaster felt a little sullen, knowing that it was the battle strategy teacher, Tobias. He even remembered the discussion they had in his office earlier that week about his leaving. Isamu glanced at the faces of the teachers, seeing that they were eager to get started already. He gave them a terse nod before beginning. "As you all may know, located approximately 8,000 kilometers from Amaterasu City is Fuzen City. They're known for their malicious acts and wrong-doings. And of course, wanting something we have. Earlier this week, Tobias of the battle strategy class had encountered a youkai that was disguised as a human boy. And Althea and I also encountered some youkais of our own," He said, glancing at his wife. He took a sip of his coffee, remaining calm and composed as he recalled the week's earlier incidents.
