[PRP] Well you're new around here (Sigurd x Shageki)

[Dementia Requiem Asumi]

"Then you need a knight in shining armor." Sigurd smiled, not making much more of an offer. He continued on for a bit longer, in silence.

"We're almost there. You should be able to see it soon." The fae offered, starting to pick up the pace. His booted feet had no problem tracing the path he'd walked so many times recently. Far enough in the woods to not be noticed, close enough to the stream to make it convenient.

He was thankful for the quiet. It gave him a moment to wrap his head around the whole situation. The day already was so crazy, he hardly knew what to expect next. Shageki took the cue and picked up the pace as well, still holding hands. A shape began to emerge in the distance. "Oh...you're pretty handy."

"I've been working on it for a while." Sigurd grinned, blushing a bit at the compliment. He wasn't that handy was he? The fae's wings fluttered in his embarrassment.

"There's a couple more walls that need to go up before you can move in, unless you don't mind sharing a space for a bit?"

 

[Tartara Seabreeze]

Blushing. Again. The blue pae's tail flicked. "Uhhh...lets build those walls." It would give him more time as well to get to know the male. And think. "Just tell me what you'd like me to do, and I'll get on it. Think of me as your third...and fourth hand." He chuckled lightly, hoping the other didn't realize just how much he was blushing that evening.

Sigurd chuckled, looking around. "Well, it seems we would need some wood." The fae said, straight faced. One couldn't build a wall out of nothing could they? You could certainly make a sheet out of leaves, if you did it right, but not a wall.

Shageki nodded in agreement. "I can get wood for you." The male started looking around the workplace, ready to get to work. "Do you have an axe or saw?"

Sigurd choked for a moment, letting his mind wander elsewhere. That was not appropriate for a knight to think about! His brown eyes widened for a moment, quickly closing. Guardians he needed to get his mind straight. This male was intoxicating. Maybe living with him was a bad idea... At least, if he was making Sigurd's thoughts stray from finding and protecting his most precious one.

"There's an axe outside near the back door." The fae nodded towards the back door, trying to get his mind back on track. What did they need to make a wall again?

Completely oblivious to anything which he may have implied, the demonic strolled towards the back door. Some good hard work was just what he needed. He reached down and picked up the tool before setting out a little ways from the house. He didn't want the tree landing anywhere near their working site.

The fae was a tad grateful when the other left. It would give him something to not panic over. His thoughts could get back in order. Sigurd blinked, what were his thoughts? He supposed he could go gather something for them to eat?

But what did Shageki like? The fae pondered for a moment, rubbing his neck. He couldn't get enough fish in time, so that was out. Hunting would take a while too.. What fruits were in the area? He hadn't started on a garden yet, or even thought about trying it until a minute ago. So fruit it was.

Now, Shageki didn't know much about cutting trees. However, he did know a little about physics. A little. After finding a good tall, sturdy oak, he surveyed the area to surmise where it would best fall. Then he began cutting into the side where he wanted it to fall, swinging with all of his might.

Sigurd took his time, finding something to carry the fruits in. All he could find was a medium sized leather. What was he planning on making out of that again? Oh right, another loin cloth. This one was starting to get nasty.

He chuckled, picking up the leather and walking out the front door. There had to be some fruit trees around here right? The fae could only hope he'd find something the other would like.

Cutting was hard work. It wasn't long until the pae was coated in a thin sheen of sweat, skin glistening in the fading light. He moved around the tree to start cutting it the opposite side. With each blow he cut deeper and deeper in. With just a few inches left for both sides, shageki stepped back and gave the tree a firm kick. A large crash sounded as the tree thundered to the ground, bouncing only once from the impact. The male reached up and wiped his brow with the back of his hand, slightly panting. That, was actually quite fun.

Sigurd sighed, he hadn't had much luck with finding anything to pick. Well, there was some stuff. Mostly it was all small things that would barely be enough for one pae let alone two grown males. He was about to give up when he finally spotted a great big tree in full bloom.

The pale fae grinned, fluttering to the top of it to collect some fruit. Almost nothing was going to distract him from his find. Almost. There was a loud THUD of a tree falling. In a strange direction. He winced, turning to look at where it had fallen. What was he thinking. Sigurd laughed to himself, can't see a tree for the forest.

Now the problem was, he wasn't sure in what measurements to cut the wood to bring it back. Taking one last look at his handiwork, he started back towards Sigurds half-finished house. He was still sweating rather heavily, as taking down a tree was surprisingly harder then it seemed on paper.

Sigurd filled the leather as full as he dared, picking only what seemed to be the best looking fruit from the tree. He was quite proud of his find. Finally, it was time to make his way back to the house. Well, he was already in the air, why not continue that way?

He flew to his almost finished home, scanning for his new roommate in the process. That thud earlier had to have been the tree he was cutting down right? If it weren't, then it was Sigurd that was going to have neighbors. Couldn't have that. Not with a prince to protect.

"Shageki?" He called, looking around for the other.
