((For future reference, I know that the random destruction of crap is fun, but you weren't given the permission to autokill these NPCs. Course, now that the damage is done Epitome you have the okay to mop up whatever is left. The next wave will not be so easily killed, and will be a good deal stronger.))

<<@Ikibe: Deity can only ask that you be more specific in what your mechs can and can't take, and what they can and can't dish out. This character he is using is extremely potent - the most powerful he has - and Deity doubts any type of machine would last any longer than a second against him anyway. But if you insist that these cannot be killed as easily, you need to put in a bit more detail about them.

...the initial strike (the elbow hit) was an auto-hit, and Deity apologizes. He can't really see how the thing would've moved anyhow...but it was still overzealous of him. In any case, as long as you aren't exact in the gadgets and structure of your NPCs and the battleship, Deity will assume he can tear through them as effortlessly as he can tear through everything else as this character... xP >>

((Pfft, can't tear through Mindblaze...then again, Mindblaze can't touch Fierce, so... XD))

OOC: Or... you can not autokill the NPCs without permission just like in every other RP. I'm not exact on the specifications of Ikibe's forces because in all honesty I don't have to. Because its a plot sponsored by this guild you can rest assured in the fact that you will win the overall battle eventually. Maybe not this one battle (which is very likely if you keep up being difficult and don't realize that this is in the name of good fun and entertaining RPing) but you will eventually win the war.

I'm not going to get into a debate on who's d**k is bigger with anyone here, because the only person who's opinion could possibly sway me to do something other than what I'm planning already knows the answer to that debate. ((Glances at Tac. =P)) We're so far out of the realm of who the ******** knows what's physically possible that it would be completely ******** pointless. I don't really want to think up a whole bunch of bullshit names for specifications that only make sense according to my own brain and can in no way be compared to what other people can do without getting into a pissing contest.

You do not need specifications, you will not autohit any more NPCs without permission, and if you want to keep debating it we will do it through AIM (seekerinthenight) or PMs.

Oh, and whatever your character assumes is completely different from the point that can be seen by you, the player.

[Well...He did say "all" now didn't he? sweatdrop ]

As Epitome's reapearence had occured, it was indeed apparent that the mechs were not exactly proud to meet him. On the contrary, they let forth a flurry missles indeed. The Shin Class warrior, would focous his ki towards his legs. Bending his knees, into that of a squat, before shoving himself towards the air. Expelling himself at such a speed that there could be seen a temporal rift throughout the fabrication of the prime matierial plane.

It would only flash for about a moment however, a brief flicker among darkness itself. His mind would focous itself among his being, allowing himself to float throughout the air. His sentient eyes would break down particles of light eminating from the stream lasers. As his mind would concentrate upon his being an invisible sphere would form around his avatar.

In which the stream of lasers would meet with his kinectic sphere of influence. They would be deflected into it's returning angle. In which if would aim for his chest it would be sent forwards. Towards what ever was in front of him. He was not near Fierce, as it was indeed entertaining to witness his destructive manipulitive energy. He used the power quite differently from himself. Epitome was often one to chose having options.
It definitly made him feel better when he did. So with this spoken...

He would would close his eyes and tap into his cerebral cortex, reverting partial use of his old brain. There was two consciousness within Epitome. There was Epitome, and then there was one known as Sasuke.

Epitome had been having fun, however he was about to make things into it's finish. His old brain would sent forth a messenge towards his limbic brain, in which it would then sent forth it's influence among the flowing electrons of this vicinity. There would ne no outside influence, so the disruption of said influence would be safe. The eletrons would move towards the form of the mechs at an alarming speed. The reaction would form an electromagnectic effect.

Epitome would then manipulate the shape to match the one manifested within his thoughts. The remaining mechs would feel a compression upon their metallic bodies.. being pressed tightly. They would be crushed by the force, and yet fried at the same time, unless they were used to EMP. Though some machinary was. Epitome's facial expression was one of a coyle smile. He was enjoying having this ship attack him. It was obvious he was grading on effort today..

<<@Ikibe: Okee dokeee... xD Anywho...Deity didn't mean to say that what he knew OOC and what his character assumed IC were the same thing. He was saying that, unless you give him a good reason to believe otherwise, he'll find your mechs to be very, very weak....mechas tend to be when presented to this particular character.

You needn't go on, ordering Deity about what he can and can't do. He already apologized, and doesn't plan on doing it again... =O ...he did an auto-hit on one of the mechs, which was a boo-boo of him. The other attack (Death Wave) wasn't an autokill. That was a very normal technique for this character....if it kills off your NPCs, it sucks to be your NPCs. An autokill would've included a section of the post where the Wave tore through the MIs....or...whatever.

Deity doesn't plan on filling this thread with useless posts... =P ...he'll continue to go through this battle the way he sees fit, which - barring the unprofessional autohit - will be very much similar to what he has done thus far. 'Nough o'these long OOC posts...making Deity's eyes hurt... > <;; >>

OOC: Oh lord Fierce, you're speaking in third person. ^^;;; It kinda, threw me.

IC: The mechs are ripped apart easily, but what follows is nothing short of hell on earth.

The ship's beam cannons impact again, but with even less fanfare than before. Not detectable by any sort of extra sensory ability by some miracle of Ikibetech, even their firing was silent. If the fighters hadn't had their attention on the mechs, they might have seen the beams firing in the half second before they hit. But at this range, it would be nearly impossible to tell where they were pointed.

Over fifty bright blue beams spray across the landscape, with at least five centered on the fighters themselves. The sheer destructive power of them seems to suck away the fabric of reality around you, turning day to blackest night lit by the play of sapphire columns from the sky. Even as they continue to move blue energy roars out of the ground behind them. They were ripping the desert apart right down to the bedrock, and nothing would remain safe for long.

Although none of the attacks were directed at Torment specifically, the fact that he was literally in the way isn't a positive indicator of his avoiding the hellish beams.

OOC: Alright, when I say these are stupidly strong, I mean it. Viper would not sit around and take a hit from these cannons at full power. Let alone five. Do. Not. Ignore. This. Damage.

OOCAttack Stats: The ship is firing from the same stationary position in the lower exosphere, approximately 60 miles above the earth's surface. The speed is ridiculous, literally covering that distance in half a second. Coverage is a five mile radius centered on the initial blast crater. The beams are literally ripping away the atmosphere.

EDITOOC: (AIM convo summary) Torment: ...or just go incoporeal if that'd work.
Me: Uh, bad idea.
------------
In case anyone isn't aware of the specifics behind becoming incopreal, an energy field will rip you apart just as easily as a non-being as they will a physical one.

<<...oh... < <;; ....sorreh'bout that. Deity always talks like this...he has been for about two years now.>>

::The masses of displaced air, though slight, are an easy indicator of a new attack. Ignoring the dispatched MIs, the tall Orinian spins in place, glaring up at the incoming beams. Moving at 600 times the speed of sound, any normal human would hardly have the time to submit a reaction before being incinerated by them. However, no matter the distance, at this speed, the Wolf demon has plenty of time to devise a plan of attack. Though, at the moment, the plan is simply to get out of the way.

Raising his altitude, he quickly ascends higher into the air and to the side a few dozen meters, his coat blown about crazily as the numerous beams fly about in every direction, turning this once calm desert into a holocaustic minefield. Several more of the bright beams blaze toward him, Deity slipping out of their paths by twenty yards at the least, usually not coming very close to being hit. If he weren't transformed, he possibly would have to utilize his Shunkido technique just to avoid being struck in tight situations. One hit would probably do major damage. In this body, Deity is unsure of what would happen.

As the beams aimed toward his position cease, now ravaging the ground underneath, he glances Epitome's way before looking up at the giant mass of a ship, high in the sky. He arches one of his crimson eyebrows at its appearance, not recognizing it. His brother probably would. Unsure of the ship's defenses, he waits, not wishing to attack now. He ponders simply going inside and wrecking the cruiser from the inside out, but there is a chance the Captain has more forces inside he hasn't seen. No need to be so hasty, either.

Opting to wait for more attacks until he has an oppurtune moment to strike - being sure to stay aware and avoid any beams that happen to stray near him - he digs his hands into his jeans pockets, sensing an entity off in the distance, growing closer. His eyes narrow gently as he submits the signature to memory, taking the being's presence with caution.::

A tingle began to run through Torment's legs as the flash from high above is registered. The mana that had been flowing through him alters and changes, a burst of incarnum flowing through the chain wrapped about his hand. [Essentia Point Used] Light burst from his form, a kaleidescope of color surrounding him as a shield forced its way into existance around him. It was an admixture of a Shield spell with a lesser powered Prismatic Sphere, offering up a defensive line that would last against not specific assaults, but wear down over a length of time.

Once again mana began to flow through him as his path took him higher into the sky, trying to find some repreive from the onslaught. His next spell was a tough one to decide on, but he figured he'd better flow directly into mass pwn, and fast. He dare not speak to the others, because they were likely too busy to pay any attention to him anyhow, much less hear through the throng.

Epitome's eyes would gaze upon the array of bright blue flashes of light indeed. Thi ship's effort was indeed something to be seen, almost like a light show as a matter of fact. However, he knew this was more then a mere show or display of light. The beam's emittance would represent a means of his end. Epitome, however, was not about to be out this easily.

His sentient eyes would gaze upon the many particles that made up the pillars of light. His mind's focous would shift towards the electrons around his being, and would alter it's flow backwards. Creating a reverse-time dialation field. His body would shimmer , as the beams wave would seem to be appearing in slow-motion, along with the other waves of light.

His form would blur out of vision from his previous location. Unfortunatly he dropped his apple. The one he was rather fond of as well, and could not help but feel bad for it. His movement would not be able to be tracked at this speed of movement, indeed, if anything his speed would not be notced until after it was done.

He would slowly allow his mind to carry him through the air moving swiftly, due to his aerokinesis, of which would be his main means of air travel. He would float even higher evasivly dodging the slow moving beams, at least within this flow. Epitome would gaze upon the ship, however he merely had one thought on his mind. A smirk crossed his lips, as he would then dart to the right to avoid more of the beams. He

had not decided to attack just yet, as he too indeed, thought it was wise of him not to attack, as he was not fond of the unknown. His movement was instant. It would seem to have happened within a flash of second.

As the beams play across the landscape, points of blue light detach themselves from the beams pairs. Six humanoid shapes, two for each fighter, ripple across the sky to strike. Unlike your previous opponents, they seem relatively unarmed with black armor and blue eyes that drag as they move.

Nothing seems different, except for the fact that time seems to have stopped entirely for the fighters as they watch the flanged gauntlets cruise at them.

((The ability is called Over Rev, points if you know what it is. If you don't say so ooc and I'll give ya'll the run-down. Do not post IC unless you know what it is.))

((^^ Okay, so maybe I need to explain. Read this carefully, and then read my explaination at the end. Its important.))

Over Rev: The eyes capture objects at the incredible speed of 300 frames per second, that is 0.003 seconds, and send the information to the brain... In reality though, since the brain must give directions while processing enormous amounts of information, it can only perceive about 80 frames per second. However, in certain kinds of intense situations or if a threat upon its life come close, the brain shuts out all information other than from the sense of vision and processes all of its 300 frames. However the "body" is unable to keep up with this accelerated "processing"... In other words, "like a revolving lantern"... this is the true character of the system where an instant feels like 10 seconds, or even a minute long. In that stage it feels as if one's limbs have frozen...

Explaination: This ability has nothing to do with your training or abilities, just your brain. In fact, extremely heightened senses and powerful abilities will probably make the effect WORSE. In effect, the mech's prime ability is inducing this over stressed state. Even if you're not human, whatever passes for your brain works the same way. If your non-humanness is an advantage, it'll probably make it worse too.

How to beat it: Again, this has nothing to do with training or magic or powers or whatever. Psionics may help a little bit, but only in identifying what's happening. Your brain is the key. Either you beat the effect entirely (which is going to be a major strain) or you can catch up to the full processing. If you can do the latter, your sense of sight will increase easily 300%, but you'll but denied of everything else.
