As the two lunged at her. she smiled, threw the Dango high into the air. and backed up. Watching the spectacle unfold, she laughed a care-free laugh and quietly pulled out her own Dango and ate it. then as they all finished eating, she said "Well, as always Six, Bast, you make mealtime interesting, to say the least. Alucai, what now Squad leader?"

San nodded to Al's comments, adding a little sarcasm to his voice as he spoke.

"Bast sensei has gathered some intel, i think we follow her lead with some ovious traps, then smoke them out like Lilith said tripping some of the traps. I can go in undercover especially with the commotion on and gather more intel, and maybe even aquire one of them through touch and then gather more intel...."

Despite the late time, the tents suddenly began to heat up drastically. A small bobbing orb of light was visible over the nearest dune, even through the tent, and the air was dry. The moisture seemed to be leaving the air of its own volition, and it was doing so very quickly. The edges of the tents began to fray, and then began to catch fire. The campsite was soon to become little more than a brush fire.

Bast had gotten quiet, and was sitting still when the orb first appeared. She paid it no heed, though. She uttered only one word: "Konin".

San was up in a moment, motioning his head towords bast sensei as she spoke the words of "Konin." Apperently the enemy was now at their gates, and they where one the defensive....yet again. Did there lack of timing and decisivness cost them the element of surprise, or was this an inevitable occurance. San couldn't answer that at this time, but knew the answer would present itself in time. He would follow Bast sensei's lead on this defensive measure, but first he needed to leave the burning tent....

Bast exited the tent after Six left. She ogled the fire juggler on the dune, her goggles performing their functions and giving her various read-outs.

"The enemy is about thirty-two meters away, and approaching," she said. "San, I need for you to step back before you dehydrate; I'll go ahead and deal with this enemy. Provide all the backup that you can."

The woman drew a sword and flickered her heels. In an instant, she appeared behind the enemy, her sword drawn.

The fire juggler was impressed by the fires sprouting up below her, and was not discouraged when two Shinobi dove from the flames. The sword pierced her, sliced through her abdomen, and came out on the other side, but the wound healed instantaneously. The fire juggler let out a short bestial snarl and threw the ball of heat in her possession at San.

San did a hand spring to his left, getting out of the way of the fire ball and away from the burning tent. Grabbing a few Kunai, San drew their vectors with his magnetic chakra and launched them at the juggler, already planning in the movements of Bast sensei's attack on the enemy and maximizing the chances for a hit due to the the split attention and multiple attacking vectors.

"Ah" She said as fire engulfed the tent. She rolled outside, putting out any flames on her clothing, and watched as Bast pierced the enemy... who instantly healed. "Oh. S***." She muttered, watching as San attacked the woman. Yawning, she pulled out an aqua bauble, attached it to a kunai, and threw it at the woman. Next she started forming handsigns.

Arriving with the gennin Howaido stayed back halting them a distance away behind a sand dune. They were under attack, it was a good thing he came prepared,"Hold, for one moment, I need to assess this."

"San, whats going on, how many and how strong?"

Bast, feeling ignored, slid around to the front of the enemy. Before the fire juggler could respond, the Miyamoto launched her in to the air, appeared overhead, and slammed her back in to the ground with a powerful kick. The juggler, however, regenerated once more and simply stood up.

The fire juggler, surrounded by projectiles and a Sannin, clasped her hands together and muttered something. Several small suns appeared and caught the projectiles, and the water from the bauble vaporized before it could do anything. With another seal, each of the suns flew toward the campsite, heating the area drastically as they approached. Simply dodging these would not do, as coming close to the balls of heat would dry the Shinobi.

San formed a hand seal as the Suns approached his location. His body dropped into the ground using his earth military movement technique to get away from them. He re appeared to the right of Bast sensei, already forming a set of hand seals for his next counter attack. He was to help her, but not take the fight for her. She was a Sannin and him a Jonin. She had this fight better then He did, and he knew that.

Just then he heard Howaido's voice in his head, loud and clear. San replied to Howaido through the Bonds golem, and his voice sounded loud and clear in his his head.

"One, Konin level. He attacked our camp. We need to get to the Base soon. Are the genin ready?"

Ash grinned. "Always." Ouka nodded.Ash tapped her on the head. "We're good to go when you guys are" He could smell the strength of the target's chakra as he crouched behind come cover with his back to it. "Where do ya want us?" By 'us', he meant himself and the girl, Ouka. The two were a team, never separable.

Bast pulled out a strand of wire and threaded it through her fingers. She made a cross figure out of it and pushed her hand to the back of the fire juggler. The woman activated Ayametori and sent a D-Ranked amount of Chakra through the wire; the ensuing technique ripped the outer layer of 'skin' off of the fire juggler, revealing a golden, sandy-looking inside for a brief moment before the fire juggler regenerated.

"Shakuton," the juggler said, her voice bestial but comprehensible. A ring of heat appeared around her, repelling Bast forcefully. The ring of heat floated for a moment before sinking to the ground, where the waves of heat danced. A wave, hardly visible, flew for San and Bast, the air crackling behind it.

[Tenchi, we are using telepathic communication so you will need to edit your post, our squad is holding away from the camp to launch a surprise attack.]

"Team 2 prepare for battle, on my word, Ill give you three formations, Formation A is the attack formation all physical arts users to the front. Formation B is long range defense formation, genjutsu users to the front everybody else use long range Ninjutsu attacks if possible. Formation C is scatter formation, you all stay behind me or escape and I shall take on the strong opponent." He would get the last info while they prepared to attack,"San, what type is the attacker, ninjutsu, weird techniques, what?"
