[ORP:FIN] The Great Water Balloon War [closed]

Haevan laughed at Mena's explantion. "'ah suppose..." granted it was lost in translation, transporters were one thing..he'd at least had some experience with them. Stratawhatsitsname he imagined was a fancy word for a protective shield, and it wasn't easy to use?

Eying the enraged pig hyte he smiled sweetly. "Ah figured." he mused. At Seth's words the wolf laughed. "Naaah..." he aimed at him and fired, of course all in good fun. Maybe..not on Missy's end but they had after all started it with the poor girl.


Oooo it would be a close one. The aimed throw (he'd set aside the launcher not wanting to accidentaly HURT some one at this close range) was well placed, twisting and twirling right towards Seth, a mischievous grin on Haevan's face.

With a sniff, Melisande launched another balloon at Seth. Of course the first time in her rage she'd forgotten entirely how fast he could move--perhaps he'd dodge and she'd hit Dacj instead. That would also be acceptable.

But her throw had gone entirely awry--so awry that it dropped on her feet and drenched her shoes. "Eeeee cold squishy icky!" she squealed, dancing around.

Snap! Noooo~! He had tried to dodge Haevan's attack, but the balloon finally hit him dead on. "Ack!" Ears flicked in displeasure at the sensation of being drenched. "Nice throw," he said a smirk, eying the wolf devilishly. Yes, this was war.

The wolf grinned at his successful manuver. Ducking over to the balloon pile he grabbed more 'ammo' and quickly skittered off to a more secure location to try and mount an assult...even if it was likely bound to backfire on him. Grinning at Missy he tossed another balloon her way, keeping a sharp eye on Seth as well given he'd actually scored a hit now.

It was srs business time now.

It was with this thought in mind, he landed yet another hit on Missy, a sheepish grin creeping onto the wolfs face as he ducked behind his make shift shelter.

Well, Seth was already wet now. The only solution, Dacj decided, was to help him get more wet, as she reached behind her for a balloon to lob at her human-hybrid shield. "Nothing personal~" she said cheerily.

Melisande moved on the shirtless wolf hybrid with a vengeance, clutching a balloon close as she followed after him. "Moi thinks perhaps you have not thought your situation through," she said mock-sweetly, throwing her balloon right at Haevan.

Golden eyes never left Haevan, and the cheetah Hyte threw another water balloon the wolf's way.

And then suddenly there was a painful smack against the back of his head, and he was even more soaked than before. "..." So much for being teammates. It seemed that things were going to be a free-for-all now.

Dacj's hands fluttered to her open mouth, astounded that she'd actually managed a hit. "I'msosorry!" she said, part horrified she'd gotten him so thoroughly and part terribly amused. "I didn't mean to hit you...that well," she said, realizing how absurd the statement was as she made it.

"I am sure you didn't," the cheetah replied calmly, grabbing up another balloon and looking it over casually. "Of course you realize," he added, "this means our alliance is broken." With a grin the cheetah Hyte suddenly lobbed the balloon stright for the kraken Hyte.

... Or at least that had been his intent. His grip had been a touch too hard on the balloon, and right as he began to throw the it his claws punctures the rubber and poured the water all down himself. "..." Why was he in this again?

Dacj tried very hard to suppress the giggles, but it was very difficult and she ended up slipping on the progressively-wetter-roof, tentacles flailing as she hurried to grip with her hooks on the cement, laughing all the way down. "Oh, Seth~" she managed to squeak out, in between bouts of giggles. "You poor kitty!"

"Yeah, yeah, laugh now while you can," Seth replied with a small smirk at his own misfortune. Since it had been a while, he decided he might as well have another attempt at hitting Mena. At least she was still below on the ground level.

Except that his claws once again snagged the rubber and popped the balloon on himself. Even he had to break down laughing at this terrible bout of misfortune, and he clung onto the side of the building for support. Clearly this was not his game.

Peeking around the corner, the wolf's golden eyes widened. Not only was Missy advancing...but two water balloons? "Aye...meybe so lass." he chimmed in reply to her comment, grinning as he 'attempted' to scoot out of the way.

Oh dear...he yelped as he slipped on a balloon that had fallen out of his arms in turn landing on his butt. Splashed by both incoming 'missles' he cried in suprise, shaking himself as the water was on the chilled side. "Yowch." He laughed, crawling on hands and knees out of the way of Missy's approaching stomps, said shirtless wolf attempting to snake around and go for more ammo.

Even Mena had to have a good cackle at the terrible luck befalling the cheetah on the roof. "Maybe it's safer if you aim for people up there!" she suggested with a grin.

Dacj managed to pull herself up, leaning on the side of the building beside Seth with a grin. "See? It's fun~ Kind of. Even Missy got herself, nobody's immmune~" She paused, and then added, "Well, except Mom. But she's gotta be cheating."

"Oooh, no you don't, boyo," Melisande said, tossing another balloon Haevan's way.

The wolf quickly rolled, using the momentum to get himself back up onto his feet. Peering at the other from the short distance between them, Haevan chuckled. "Boyo?" He poked his tongue out at the notion. "'ah dun't think so Missy~" Off the blue haired hyte went, to return fire of course.

It had been awhile since he'd had this much fun. That much he had to admit. In honesty? The whole gathering was a breathe of fresh air. "Immunity? 'ah dun't think 'n un'll be spared." he chuckled keeping an eye on Missy.

"Or maybe it's just safer if I don't throw anything for a moment," he replied with a wry smirk, sitting down to enjoy watching the action for a moment. Big mistake.

"I wouldn't say that~" An all too familiar voice said before another balloon was lobbed his way.

"Oh s**t," was all the cheetah Hyte said before quickly scampering out of the way. It missed him fortunately, but he quickly rounded on the thrower. "Mom!"

"Aw, I missed," elf said with a pout. "Ah well~ You're wet enough right now as it is. I'll get you later on. ^_^"
