Hikari flinched as Hiei pushed her against the wall and sucked the blood at her hand. She didn't move, too scared to. Hiei was faster, stronger, and beat her on every level. The girl squeezed her eyes shut, hearing Akuro down the hall and let out a small, quiet whimper, trying not to make a sound. "Hiei, stop. Please stop." Hikari begged quietly.

Hiei shifted a little and moved his hand gripping her hand which made some more of her blood come out and he slowly moved picking it close to his mouth and drinking that again, He was holding back from biting but he was going to at this rate. He moved a little about to go for her neck before he grunted and fell to his knees.

Akuro had the door open and his Dragnoon out and the barrel smoking. Akuro Nailed Hiei in the back of the knee cap to get him down then one in the side to truly keep him from moving to much. " Hikari move." Akuro said putting his gun away and walking over to Hiei who was all Gaki at this point trying to move.

Hikari was shaking, waiting for feel the bite. She opened her eyes when Hiei dropped from her, and Hikari moved, getting closer to Akuro and the door. She wasn't sure that her feeding him would be enough this time.

"Out, Keep your mother out here too." Akuro said as he knelt down going to move Hiei before the Fire demon chuckled and picked up Akuro throwing him right out of the room and into the wall by Aya and Hikari and started to walk with the blood coming from his wounds.

Akuro shifted and rubbed his head a little and moved looking at Hikari and aya " Get out of here. The twins and I will deal. His gone screwy" Akuro said kicking himself to get back up he stood there and pulled his gun out again. " Come on Hiei, Calm down"

Hikari rushed out, pulling her mom back. No way was she letting anything get near her mother. But when she saw Akuro be thrown out, Hikari pushed her back a little more. "Get down the stairs." She ordered before starting to walk backwards slowly on the outside hall by the railing. Hikari pulled out her knife and cut her arm to draw blood, hoping to get Hiei to follow and chase. Away from everyone else.

Aya jumped and moved back with Hikari at first, then moved to the stairs before she saw what her daughter was doing.

"Hikari don't! He'll drop into a bigger frenzy!" The vampire said before Seeing Hiei running toward Hikari and fangs drawn. Akuro shifted a bit putting bullets in again. " What the hell. If I have too, I'm killing him." Akuro warned and headed after.

Hiei went to grab Hikari but found himself being shoved back by a barrier and hitting the ground after, the twins moving infront of Hikari and took a step toward Hiei who was struggling to get up now. " Aya deal with her wound." Jyuu said and Kyuu shifted moving his hand with his brothers trying to keep a barrier around Hiei.

Hikari turned and started running when Hiei's attention was on her. She turned around, hearing a thud and saw the barrier that the twins had up. Hikari was breathing heavily, still shaky.

Aya got up the stairs and over to Hikari in a fast walk, grabbing her arm and forcing Hikari to look at her. "Don't you ever do something like that again! Do you understand?" She started to work on healing Hikari's wound.

Moving a bit Jyuu glanced at his brother and nodded with a sigh. " Sorry, This is going to stop everything. Will have to find a cure for it after he calms down." Jyuu said and looked at Kyuu who snapped his finger before watching Hiei stumble and then drop.

Akuro moved standing by the barrier and stared. " What did you do?" Akuro asked and the twins mumbled something and Akuro nodded and looked at Aya. " Is she okay?" Akuro asked before kneeling down after the barrier started to drop and looked at Hiei who was back to himself. " What caused this..."

Hikari didn't respond to her mother, or anyone really. She was staring at Hiei, watching him calm down. She was trying to calm down herself. "I'm fine." Hikari mumbled after a few seconds of hearing her mother trying to talk to her.

Aya sighed, looking up towards Hiei and the others.

Hiei was laying there on the floor, shaking as he was passed out. Moving the Twins nodded and tore down the barrier and Jyuu and Akuro walked over kneeling down to pick Hiei up. The Fire demon looked normal again as his head fell forward with no motion. " What did you guys use in the barrier?" Akuro asked moving toward the stairs with Jyuu.

Looking toward Aya then Akuro then back at Aya and Hikari there coughed. " Can't get mad." Kyuu said walking toward the stairs. " But Flame fever and enough of it to knock his a** right down." The young fox said. " Isn't that enough to kil..." Akuro started and Jyuu stepped in. " We have the cure. Let's just get him to rest right now well we work on it." The older fox explained. " If any of this gets out, This castle is done. No one wants to be ruled by a gaki." Akuro mumbled.

It'd been a few days, and this entire time, Hikari had sat outside of Hiei's door, making sure no one who wasn't supposed to went in or out. But now she was wearing something around her neck to mask her smell so Hiei wouldn't catch it through the door.

Aya was working her a** off in the office, doing all of Hiei's work, along with hers. Which was a lot. She hadn't been able to sleep too much in the past couple days, trying to get everything done. All of the meetings that were supposed to happen were pushed back two weeks. There was no way they could have extra people in the castle right now while Hiei was going through this.

Hiei laid in bed, he was on his side staring at the door before he rolled over. It had been days in his room, not talking to anyone or doing much not even eating. Moving he touched his mouth and slowly sat up and crossed his legs looking down and took a small breath before getting up off the bed and slowly walking toward the door and stumbled slightly. Slowly he opened the door, he was just in black pants and a tank top, back bags around his eyes and pale.

Akuro was sitting beside Aya helping her out with the work or trying too. " I took food to Hiei this morning. He didn't eat again." The vampire said and reached over pulling some files down. " He feels like s**t from that Flame fever, his Gaki and almost hurting Hikari." Akuro mumbled.

Hikari looked up when she heard the door open. She really hadn't slept the past several days. She'd been on guard mode this entire time. "Hey..." Hikari greeted quietly, looking up at the fire demon. "You don't look so hot."

"Of course he does. The twins could've killed him with that stuff." Aya dropped her pen, leaning back. "I'm having Rana start later this week. We need her here and no one else's resume's come close to hers."

Hiei stood there and shifted his head slowly, He was still pretty confused and only knew so much that had happened. It took him a few minutes to form words and he rubbed his face. " ...I'm sorry." He mumbled and slowly dropped to his knees so he was sitting beside Hikari, his eyes half close. " I almost badly injured you...I'm sorry."

" I understand that, But they had to do that or he was going to go crazy" Akuro said and dropped his head back. " From what Rana informed us about the booboo with Hiei and her and the Accident child. You still want to hirer her? Hikari going to flip." Akuro said and looked at her.

Hikari looked at Hiei, blinking before her features were soft with the slightest smile. She closed her eyes, leaning her head on his shoulder. "It's okay... Do you want me to come sit in bed with you?" She didn't care. Hikari was just worried about her fire demon.

"Which is why none of that it talked about at work. If Hiei and Rana need to work something out, that needs to be done off the clock or over the phone. But right now we don't have another option. Hikari's going to have to deal with her jealousy issues until I can find someone else." That's what it came down to. Aya was more concerned about the health of everyone at the castle than her daughter's emotional problems with an old fling Hiei had.
