Indeed I am.

Nah, not a big Smartie fan. Candy should be sweet, not sour. They need a new name for sour candy. Like...soudy. Hell if I know.

I roll twenties.
Flameing Knight rolled 17 100-sided dice: 3, 4, 10, 33, 72, 96, 38, 73, 87, 55, 70, 55, 42, 40, 67, 7, 13 Total: 765 (17-1700)

If someone offered you a million dollars and all you had give up is your literacy, would you take them up on the offer? (you could never become literate again)

Do you think someone devoted enough to their cause to set themselves on fire should be admired, pitied, mocked, feared, or something else?

Shamed. If they feel that devoted to this ideal, they should set something else on fire. Hell, America did something like that to the British. It was called the Boston Tea Party. Setting yourself on fire just takes out someone how could help this ideal even more in life.

xd I take it you wouldn't approve of some Buddhist monks then.

If you were on a spaceship with some other people, going off to colonize a planet, and there was a malfunction and not enough air to keep everyone alive, who would you rather get rid of: old person, or severly mentally retarded person?

This problem would happen, as the mentally retarded person wouldn't be let on the ship. Why would we want that kind of (sorry) genetic pollution in the new world? But, if they made me take him on board, I'd get rid of him. The old person would at least have experiance to help the new planet. The mentally retarded would just waste space.

I'm a b*****d people. Remember that.

Would you rather lose your literacy or your ability to speak?

Hmmmmm, that is a tough one.

I'm going to go with speech. I like talking, but there's ways around it.

me too 3nodding

If someone is very poor/homeless is it:

a) their fault for being lazy/not trying hard enough to get out of the situation
b) the goverment's fault for not providing them with means of making money/housing?

In general. Of course there are exceptions to everything.

This one is going to be tricky to explain. In our society, in this case capitalism, it is their fault. Everyone and anyone is given the chance for basic schooling. If you can stick to it, you have one level of jobs open to you. While you might not be playing X-Boxes with this pay, you should be able to house and clothe yourself. So, it's their dumb a** fault. It's not the governments job to give us money. It's job is to give us the chance to make money. In my option, welfare should have a time limit.

On the other, I like communism. It is the perfect world. But it's not possible on any scale beyond small town. After a certain size, you need a leader. Once one person has more power then others, it's no longer communism. Also there's lazy a** people who'd be able to slip through the cracks and not do any work, but would still be fed and housed.
