Jade opened the door to her place and saw that Revan was asleep, and that the dishes weren't washed. She sighed as she closed the door, making her way to the sink. She cleaned up the kitchen and stayed up to do the dishes before heading to bed. She was exhausted and needed a good nights sleep for tomorrow's mission. After she climbed in her bed, she gave one last look to him before falling asleep

Good job Revan, you could have washed the dishes. Idiot. Revan thought to himself after the silent breath of relief. Time to get some rest for tomorrow's mission. The adrenaline running in his system was wearing off. Revan's eyes remained closed for the rest of the night. But he couldn't help but wonder about that scar. The moment he asked her about it, he would be dead meat.

Jade woke up early the next morning. She saw that he was still asleep. She went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Typical Stone Village breakfast: mean. meat, and more meat. Steak, eggs, sausage, bacon, fish, and rice. She made two servings instead of one. She placed them on the table before going up to him. She kicked him real hard in the arm, "Get up!"

Revan was in a dream land, or was it a dream land? He quickly stood up, his eyes popped open in an alert state as if he had seen something that really ticked him off. He snapped out of it quickly as the smell of great food and pure nostalgia brought him back to reality. He took a deep breath before sitting down at the table. This breakfast reminded him of the cloud village...

Jade sat down and began to eat, "Eat up. We are going to need it. And there won't be a lot of stops to eat." she ate quickly and started to work in the kitchen more. She was preparing more rice balls for the trip. Since they had to eat on the go, she couldn't think of a food item to make. She began to hum that song she was singing last night

Revan was eating as quickly as he could, compliments to the chef as usual. He suddenly began to hear that same tune from Jade. That image of the scar resurfaced in his head and so did his thoughts about how she got that scar, which were a mystery. Revan was ready for what was to come on this mission.

Jade realized what she was doing and stopped humming right away. She feared that he might ask questions. She finished her work in silence and packed it all up. Double checking her supplies to make sure everything was there, Jade was walking out of the door. She didn't wait for him, knowing full well he was right behind her.

Revan's supplies were ready and he was following her out the door closely. How was this mission going to turn out? He had a neutral look on his face.

They made their way to the gate in no time at all. The client wasn't there yet but it wasn't going to be long now. She just stood their at the gate, waiting to start, "It shouldn't be too hard getting to Konoha. Its a 5 day trip if I recall. I'd make in there in 3 if I were on my own."

Revan waited at the gate silently, listening as Jade talked to him. He also had his ways of speeding up the trip back to konoha.

A half hour later, the wagon arrives with the client and her son in the drivers seat. Introductions were made, "This is my partner for this trip, Revan. Lets get t his mission under way." they boy was staring at the pair of them, "Are you two boyfriend and girlfriend?" the mother was appalled and apologized right away. Jade's face was flushed, "N-No we are not. We just met." she avoided looked at him, didn't want him to see her flushed face

The boy's comment caused a little bit of commotion. Revan looked away silently, was he hiding something as well? "Well, lead the way and I'll follow. he said as if nothing happened in the first place. These people must be royalty. He thought as he observed the wagon.

Jade walked at least 5 feet in front of the wagon, being pulled by a horse. She trusted Revan to watch the rear. They walked all day, only stopping to eat when needed and potty breaks. The kid was complaining about being bored and asking his mother over and over again why he had to come with her. She didn't hear her answer, her voice was too soft.

Revan watched the rear for any trouble. But the only trouble he heard was coming from the boy's mouth. He was undeniably bratty. He had no choice but to ignore it.

It was almost sunset, it was time to stop. Easy enough so far, 'We can stop and set up camp." she went back to the wagon, "Revan, can you go collect firewood while I help them pitch their tent?" she unloaded the tent and began to set it up
