Cerpin grinned in response. Lorata had spunk, he liked that. Seadwellers tended to make him uncomfortable but after spending time with Natash and Polair, he was coming around to them. And this one was a ******** jewel.

"Cerpin, Cerpin Sugall." He took a moment to pull a business card for Underworld out of nowhere before realizing wait, he was supposed to be playing volleyball.

"Dammit!" He swore as Scorpa and Buffel expertly blocked his spike. The two of them didn't really look like typical partners but they seemed to work well together.

"Do you all know each other? Are ya dating?" He glanced around with a curious eyebrow raised. It didn't make much of a difference though, he would still flirt with a taken troll.

Odette leapt up with a quick jump, slamming the ball down onto the opponent's court with a deft strike. Excited to score a point, she laughed, covering her mouth as she did. She gave Zindel a quick pat on the back as congratulations, and prepared herself for her opponent's return.

Elidae managed to hit the ball hard over the net, bypassing the two trolls struggling to reach the ball. "Woooo!" The yellowblood cheered happily, clapping her hands and turning to Sascha. "We did it!!"

She watched the scene unfold. And it. Was. Wild. 'Ardais' had to laugh. Then try to spike. After, without paying attention to the result, she said, "Your eyes are still gray, aren't they? Only thing that matters when it comes to that."

"I've got it!" Odette dove in, saving the ball from hitting the sand, managing to pass it up and back to Zindel. "You can do it, Zin!" she cheered, hoping he would land a good hit.

"Hey Buffel!" Scorpa pounced on the other yellowblood once Cerpin dragged him into things. Jumping on his back, she still hadn't quite made the connection that Buffel was not Garand. Both still merely equaled cowboy in this dumb yellowblood's head.

"Not if I can help it!" Scorpa yelled as Cerpin tried to spike the ball into their court. She returned his serve with a well placed block and made a victory pose.

"Not yet!" At his question the girl smiled flirtatiously, trying to not discourage Buffel if he'd be into her but also wanting Cerpin to know she was available. She hadn't really gotten those vibes from Buffel up to now but Scorpa wouldn't write him off just yet. If he helped her look good in front of Lorata right now he'd have done more than enough to earn a free kiss.

Sascha held his breath, totally sure Elidae was going to miss. His instinct to plow ahead and get the ball himself was stopped abruptly by the more rational part of his brain telling him that's not how volleyball is played. Sports were hard, he realized. Fighting was way easier by comparison.

Against all odds, Elidae hit the ball over the net. What was more, she scored a point against the opposing team. Tension evaporated from Sascha as he jumped and whooped. "Nice save!!"

In his enthusiasm, Sascha hit the ball into the stratosphere. Or close to it.

Buffel hadn't wanted this. He was prepared to spectate at this game but not to play! A purpleblood had pulled him onto the field and he was now standing with Scorpa of all people on the court! Afore he could right this scenario, Scorpa jumped on his back playfully. ”Scorpa, what the-?!"
He held her with all his might, but they both gotten a fair bit bigger since their last encounter before Bloodfest. But she was different now. Giggling flirtily, being...nice? And what the sam hill did she mean by yet?!

s**t, that was a good hit. "Good, good, good!" It landed in his hands in a perfect arc, and he quickly tried to slam it in— SLAM. The ball slid by the other team really easy. It was good.
