"His followers might but not him. Now I should go check on me and Kon's wives to see how our daughters are getting along."

Le'si, Kemi, Shi'me and D'lin were all at her house. Shi'me was being attended by a servant.

Soon Kolo and Kon arrived.  

[Duchess Marie]

Le'si and D'lin smiled up to their husbands. "About time you made it," Le'si kissed Kolo hello, "I was worried you did not remember the way."

"So how are our daughters doing? They getting along?"  

[Duchess Marie]

"Shi'me is less than a day old. I doubt she recognizes much outside of herself," said D'lin. "Kemi seems to like the baby."

Kon then said. "Well I thought you two would be too overprotective to let them see anyone."

"Brother!" Kolo yelled.  

[Duchess Marie]

"I am not about to take our daughter outside, that is for sure. However, a tightly controlled, very select group of visitors I will allow."  

[Reciter5613]

"Like who?"  

[Duchess Marie]

"Only family and the servants. Everyone else does not need to see her yet."  

[Reciter5613]

"I guess."

Kolo then said. "So what will you do in this village in the future?"  

[Duchess Marie]

"We have fallen behind in constructing the officer's houses for the Silverblade troops. Now that Shi'me does not need my presence I expect that I can get that back on track."

Kon then said "What about you, Le'si?"  

[Duchess Marie]

"Well, I want to learn self-defense now that there is not risk to Kemi."  

[Reciter5613]

Kolo nodded. "Once she is ready we can go traveling again."
