The more they interacted, the more she was enjoying his company, so if Minstrel took her comment as an invitation for friendship, she would not deny his company. He was handsome, too. Hearing his steps close by urged her onward.

Breeze had to put significant effort into not being distracted by Half-Truth's questions - he didn't have the attention to spare for that line of thought right now! He filed away a mental note to maybe investigate that later, though. In the here and now, he kept his hooves beating the path.

Half Truth reached out and touched the rock with her nose. She was getting a little tired, but felt content. They'd made it!

The group reaches this western stone together. As they do, the first - and final - stone begins to glow again, just a bit brighter than before. For any kin who were observing, the southeastern stone goes dormant - as though it had never glowed.

For the current leg, you must count to 20 in 40 minutes. Otherwise, the rules are the same as for the previous leg. When the group has collectively reached the goal number of 20, there will be another GM post. You have forty OOC minutes from when 1 is posted. Good luck!

Half Truth shook herself, stretching a bit, and began the run towards the final stone. One more path, and the looping circle would be complete!

She couldn't tell who had won in the end. Part of her thought that Minstrel had overtaken her at the last moment, but her prideful side thought it was more of a tie. Still, the next leg of the run lit up before then, offering a last opportunity.

"Extend the race to the last stone?" She took a moment to stretch and wait for his response before shooting off for the last stone -- one way or the other, it had to be reached, probably quickly.

After their short break, Breeze hefted himself forward for (hopefully) one last hurrah on the race circuit. Even the songbird shade on Half Truth's head was starting to look put-upon, but when they started up again, it still kept a steady time.

Half Truth watched the racers, admiring their competitive spirit. They could handle the speed; she and Wildflower Breeze could catch up with the fine details.

She laughs as well and powers on, hopeful that her slight head start will give her the advantage this time. The last glowing stone was in sight! That would be the end of the circuit, wouldn't it? They were so close!

Breeze, meanwhile, was only thinking about how badly he's going to hurt tomorrow. He hoped that there's some local herbs that are good for joint and muscle aches, and that some locals that know where they're at would show up to help him.

The stones here were slightly larger than in the previous stretch. Half Truth appreciated this; it gave her that much more room to maneuver.

They were nearing the halfway point, the turn in the stones up ahead. Dew Drop Sun cast eyes ahead and tried to prepare, mentally, for the upcoming shift.

"Mind when we reach the turn ahead!" She called back to warn everyone, though they hadn't quite reached it.

"Still feeling strong?" She called out to tease Minstrel a bit as well. They were still close, clearly a good match for racing.
