I like the second one. xd

If Koreans came from outer space, they'd write using that script. Also, the various circles, dots, and diagonal lines are forming funny images in my mind~

It was based on crop circles. XD
Nice idea. xd

They just looked so prettyyy O_____O
Next I wanna do something that is written in a circle/spiral.
Cuzz linear writing is oldhat.

Let's get some orginality going people! biggrin DD

Writing in a spiral has been done before. I first heard of it in the book Sphere (later, the movie based on the book, as well). It was more of a code, though, rather than an actual language.

I like bottom-to-top, left-to-right, personally.

Kintaran was originally to be left to right, bottom to top. And I have done spiral once. Though it was code, not a language.

Sphere? I've read a book called sphere... I didn't know they made a movie...

How about slalom?
Left to right, then right to left, then left to right...

See, I can write the cropcircle one in both directions.
Soo, I COULD slalom that one.
Buttt
eh.
That'd be wierd.

That's actually called boustrophedon style. ;o

I really like this Boustrophedon style,
.etirw ot gniyrt nehw suoidet steg ti tub
It does make it easier to keep your place
~ahah , hguoht ,gnidaer elihw

I think I'll stick with left-to-right, bottom-to-top or bottom-to-top, left-to-right for Anzer Pex. I might use Boustrophedon style or outward spiral form with my runic, ancient Germanic conlang (still needs a name...).

Sphere was a good book by Michael Crichton, one of my favorite authors. The movie adaptation had some celebrities in it, namely Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone, Samuel L. Jackson, and Queen Latifah. I forget the details, but the spiral code turned out to be nothing more than a convoluted cypher being used by an "alien" to communicate with the scientists mathematically via a computer system.

I don't mind writing it by hand
I write just as fast backwards as forwards in the Alien-type one.
I'm really dyslexic like that. @__@

Just remember, when doing boustrophedon, the letters are typically flipped when you change direction.

I'll post my conscripts up soon. There's a bunch, so it'll take a while to compile a written sample. I love conscripts; I was making them long before I knew what a conlang was. <3

We made them in middle school to talk during class without being effectively caught. razz

I'll have mine up as soon as I find a functional scanner... It could be a while...

I did that too.
It was soooooo lame.
I just wrote roman characters and connected them together.
It was impossible to read, heheh.

We had the most amazingly complicated writing systems... They changed every week, too. Not to mention our rule of no keys on the desk... We were fairly good at picking up conscripts in an hour or two! Probably why Russian wasn't too hard for me to pick up, in terms of alphabet.

The second one looks like large numbers of people dying. I love it. mad D

Haha. xd

True.

My favorite part's Verb Conjugations and Alphabet. 3nodding

Verb conjucation to me:
I walk
I was walk
I will walk
I am walk

Hard.

Alphabet?
Hahahahaaaaa...
Apparently my new one looks like Korean on a stick.
I'm thinking of calling it Shishkabob.
Or some variation of that word.
No "sh" in this language...
How about "Sisakababe"? (See sah kah bah bay)

I have twelve types of conjugations in one tense. xd

Sounds neat-o. 3nodding
